The thing about escha and logy's combat mechanic is that ive read that its pretty much a copy of the combat mechanic from mana khemia duology (still part of atelier series but part of the iris series in that they feel more like rpgs storywise with male main characters) which i highly recommend, really sad that iris and mana khemia series are considered the black sheep of the atelier franchise in japan

I mean it was just a child but at the same time it's more like a child that incense they knew better but they didn't the child knew that when he was doing was wrong but at the same time it did play into his urges of what a child does which is to do whatever they want and since they don't have an authority figure that could stop them per say somebody that can overpower him as a guardian then he was just a loaded gun and because he probably had a bad up bringing that also makes it really sad and disturbing that a 10 year old would go and SA people for fun and of course hurt people

Even if still super edgy ennis in the ending a wrap up of the boys did a really good job, the book from where this is from is dear Becky and it was actually published in 2020 so thats why it isn't as mainstream as the other stories taken from the boys comic
