Yeah, someone had heatwave beat animal man in a 1v1 physical fight because "man is the most dangerous animal." Unless I wasn't paying attention and plastic man was literally acting as a body armor there that should have been game over.
The guy got burnt to a crisp wearing those suit. Yet the suit remains in perfect condition for him to break himself out of jail. I wonder as well, why Heatwave kept blaming Cyborg for his burns that were clearly his own fault

He should've lost to the first prisoner, and the only reason he beat Animal man is cause Animal man stuck his face close enough to bite and held it there. It bothers me when writers can't write a good protagonist, so they nerf everyone else into being helpless.
Making him a trap master would be better. Heatwave could've used fire of all kinds to eliminate every threat. At least it wouldn't f up the canon strength. And plastic man is a bit too much. He is overpowered as hell. Then again heatwave needs this much to do anything

And another law that requires giving escaping inmates easy access to the controls of a floating city... and said flying city cannot have countermeasures like secure doors... and must at all times fly near cities... (In the Netherlands, that's not much of an issue, but the US is mostly empty space with a few cities...)

Usually by a strong heat source, however in a stealth scenario he is damn near unbeatable. He can hide anywhere look like just about anything, and can pretty much be silent at will.

There was so much wrong with this story... if skullguy can take off a collar, why only from animal-man? Where are the guards? Are there no measures to lock down the prison? Sounds like plasticman could have wrecked the entire prison on his own, without the help of a guy who plays with fire but cannot make a fireproof suit or cutting-resistant cloth...
The absolute amount of plot armor Heatwave had through this whole comic is unmeasurable and so ridiculous. And let's not forget the kept a floating prison IN THE CITY. Never thought that if it ever were to fall it might destroy the city

Reason Plastic man is evil is because Bruce (batman) was never there at the hospital helping Plastic Man. Of all reasons this version Batman left him for dead in that vat of acid.
If its the Flashpoint universe than its because Batman didnt keep him on the straight and narrow, meaning he wouldve never become a super hero, just a criminal filled with regrets about his life style.
