Yes!! What a great video!! I have always been a little cautious with gel pens. The idea with the bunny was great!! I would have never have thought of that!! The Posca pens are really good! Thank you Pamela. x
Thank you for showing this video now I know what I can use my white gel pen for when I am colouring my Christmas books if it has snow or snowman in it.
I'm getting ready to order both Color-it gel pen sets after seeing you use them and say how long you've had them and how well they worked. The nice cases and gel pen replacements included are great added bonuses. Thanks for sharing this. I hope you will do more with gel pens and glitter pens.
@@PamelasPassionforPencils really just about anything. With the holidays coming up fall colors and all colors for Christmas, Hanukkah etc I think look great with gel and glitter pens. imho
Pamela, I enjoyed this video. I recently discovered the Art-n-Fly white gel pens not too long ago, and I have had good luck with them. I love the bunny!
Hi Stefanie, I'm so glad you found those gel pens. I couldn't believe how well they worked. Had the company not sent these to me, I would had never discovered them. I have been using them more and more!
Thank you for this! I've been also looking for ways to colour white objects and I'll definitely practice this when I colour my snow. Another trick I love to use with these gel pens is like what you just did, I cover the black lines, and then wait for the gel pen to dry. After the gel pens drys, I take the darkest shade of pencil I used when colouring my flowers/leaves and I go over the white line using light pressure just to make them look a little more 3D-ish. You can use coloured pencils to go over the white line, even if u don't have the other colours from the posca sets. When I tried this technique for the first time it improved my pages dramatically. I was so impressed with the posca white markers. I'm going to buy those Art n Fly pens they look so good XD the only other gel pens I have are the uni-signo
I use posca over colored pencil then go over with gel pen. Using a gel pen on colored pencil is tough with the wax in pencil. The gel pen doesn’t have anything to grip to and just slides over the colored pencil.
Thank you. I couldn’t agree more about the gel pens. Sometimes it’s difficult searching for the right products that we will love. I’m glad the video was helpful.
Hi Pamela, just trying to catch up with your videos. I thought it was just me that had problems with white gel pens, pleased to know I'm not. Over the past I've tried the Signo and the gelly roll and had to give up, tried buying new ones with still no luck, the amount of money I've spent on them is horrendous. I will see if I can get the Art and Fly pens here in the UK. All my other gelly roll pens, the coloured ones work well, thank you so much for your video, so helpful 💖
Thanks for the tip about the Art n Fly pens. I used to enjoy the Uniball Signo white pens, but found that they degrade with time. However, I also have the Uniball Signo colour gel pens (metallic and glitter) and they are fine, even after some years. I now use them in conjunction with the Colorit set - which is as good as you say it is!
I bought 4 different sets of GellyRoll pens and I really don’t use them too much…just not impressed with them. But I love the Uni-ball Signo pen, also like the Pandafly pen.
I really enjoy your videos. I like learning how different materials interact. I don't see the Hammermill link though, I'd like to use your affiliate link.
It was all the way at the bottom and I must have missed it. Thank you for using my links as it helps my channel out greatly. I just updated the description box. This is the link for the paper I use: amzn.to/3bQooPO
I bought the Art-n-Fly 3 pack of white gel pens in July 2019 and they're still just as good now as they were when I bought them. I also have the Uni-ball Signo 3 pack of white gel pens and they work well, but they have a larger tip than my Art-n-Fly pens have. I have a small set (12) of Pentel EnerGel pens, PaperMate Ink Joy pens and the 74 set of Gelly Roll pens. I like them all, but I don't use any of them a great deal. Just mostly for high-lights, or to add a little sparkle or bling on greeting cards and envelopes. I did buy a set of 36 Tanmit gel pens, but I didn't like them and sent them back to Amazon. They were blotchy and the ink flow would skip, so back they went. Thanks for sharing your information...and your egg picture is too cute!

Definitely pull them out and use them. Gel pens are so much fun!
I have watched many tutorials; I must say this is one of the best ones I have ever seen. I will watch all of your videos.
I'm so glad you enjoyed it. Happy Coloring!

Always lovely to see your videos Pamela. I get soooo annoyed paying good money for white gel pens and then the ink just doesn’t flow .

How much bleed through did you have on the page?
Are you referring to the egg I colored? If so, I have no bleed through at all.
