So today / tsukka_mh showcased a new Lance tech that makes use of the weird hitbox of the gustcrab to proc the new rampage skill guard bash over and over again.
So we decided use it in an actual run and see how good it really is. We had a lot of fun with it. The damage with our build is around 12k per person if you use 2 crabs. So rathian was ended up being our target monster for this since she pretty much has perfect hp for this. doing this on any monster with more hp probably requires a different set up or more crabs

eh it's less damage than snowman tech and monsters have more hp in this game. so there isn't a lot where you can actually use it :(

the hitbox is weird. you have to come from behind. which is also why I throw i from behind the head

it only scales with raw. can't crit, no element, also no status=no buildup boost and also no frostcraft

So what actually happens here?
Do you guard bash into the range of the gust, get interrupted but you can just input another bash right after without getting staggered and so you just spamm bashes over and over?
the gust crab emits like a windwave every second on the opposite side you throw it. So you just throw it walk around it and then hold normal guard. and with every wave you block you deal damage to the head because of the new guard bash rampage deco

Is the deco from the new title update? Haven't played any TU5 yet and I only know the generic "5% more damage against x" type decos
@@ardynizunia9709 Yeah it got added with TU5 and it does exactly that. Unfortunately it only works with normal block not guard dash shield tackle or instablock :|

why you dont lose stamina ?
i tryed with a friend and we always run out of stamina
we are using strife 3 for infinite stamina

TDS haven’t made any content on this afaik. This is a new discovery made possible in TU5 thanks to the new rampage deco.

We are using a mod to fix rathian's spawn to A. and the slow mo mod in the end. The run itself is completely legit. We are using a weird interaction with the new guard bash rampage deco that deals damage on blocking and the windhitbox of the gustcrab
I hope they nerf this so you Lance players have nothing fun again
well they already patched it out of the game 🤷♂
