Flats & Sharps at The Royal Albert Hall

Flats & Sharps were one of the finalists in a Nationwide Festival/Competition called Music For Youth. They stormed the first 2 stages and playing at The Royal Albert Hall as part of the BBC Youth Proms was the "prize". Here is their performance.

Blue grass is so hard for me to watch live out of fear they'll make a mistake. It's so fast paced the whole time but these guys are
absolutely on it. They're the only band who play that style who I can watch without getting scared as hell.

Bluegrass music did not exist 100 years ago. It was created by Bill Monroe in the late 1930s- named after his band Bill Monroe and his Bluegrass Boys as his music was so influential. Very few people can be credited with "inventing" a musical form but Bill Monroe is one such person.

100 Years ago Bluegrass didn't exist. It was created by the formation of the 1946 Bluegrass Boys formed actually in December of 1945.
That's what is generally considered the birth of Bluegrass.
