It's called virtue signalling, look it up and it'll explain why so many comedians forget they're supposed to be funny and decide to force an agenda down our throats instead.
Most of the BEST comedians were extremely political and made their jokes and their names on "agendas". What is George Carlin's infamous "Seven Dirty Words" if not a political statement about Conservative "values" at that time? Bill Hicks? His entire performance was just his agenda, his point of view. Lenny Bruce. Chris Rock. Dave Chappelle. Bill Burr. Louis C. K. ...I could go on... You're kind of stupid, aren't you? You really didn't notice, did you? You must be extremely thick-skulled.
Noe Bodi I never found Jeff Foxworthy funny because his humor is too safe. There's no risk taken. Everyone hates Trump, so nothing new or interesting is being done when you make fun of him, you're just saying to the world "Hey look at me, I fit in!" Also, when you have to assume someone else's intelligence in an argument, it means you're wrong, so you resort to petty insults.
I don't get it guys. windows xp is actually known for being extremely efficient, that's why even nowadays many corporations and banks haven't upgraded from it

Never used 8 so I can't weigh in on it; 10 has been OK but for me Vista (at home) and 7 (at work) had been the sweet spot for me.

Windows 7 was better, even though it lost a bit of charm, and now we have Windows 8.1, which has completely ruined the start menu, made it harder to operate and even crammed it with bloatware. XP is still my favourite OS. I know it's outdated, but it was the best OS when you compare OS' s to the time of release.
Actually now we have windows 10.
Cam Sullivan wut.
Niceguy3210 Have you tried windows 10?
Cam Sullivan yeah... I don't think you get what my comment meant.
+Niceguy3210 i think thats partly nostalgia speaking and considering the fact how much time you spent on it also says a lot about the subjective opinion of your comment, im not saying your wrong but it seems to me that youre trying to state a fact here based on opinions
Ladies and gentlemen, one of Collegehumor's greatest hits. They've stopped making them, so you'll have to savor the ones that are out there.
+Alexey Khalimonov too true
You probably define "comedy" as Jeff Foxworthy and like, that watermelon-smashing guy. You pig-people disgust me.
The error report part gave me the goosebumps.
Your free trials of kung fu have expired. LOL
I don't get it guys. windows xp is actually known for being extremely efficient, that's why even nowadays many corporations and banks haven't upgraded from it
This should have been Windows 2000... now that would've been funny.
***** Windows Millenium Edition was rushed, and therefore very buggy, Windows 2000 was made to replace Millenium Edition, and was way less buggy.
Chris Mc. nope, windows vista. NOW THAT was crappy
Puque Quat
Windows 2000 is my favourite OS after Windows 7. Really stable and I can't remember any blue screen encounters. The only problem was its incompatibility many games. I almost managed to forget ME ever existed until you mentioned it. Thanks for ripping open old wounds ;( :P
Ninjadudewhat Hey! I use Vista! M.E. sucks for sure, even more than Vista(Not that it does).
"There comes a time in your life when you reach an error. And you must make a choice: either send an error report or don't send and error report, but in the end does it really make a difference?
Looks like the Matrix is going to get hacked now that there are no more updates.

And what is the point of this comment? You watched it after it was uploaded. Ok. It would be impressive if it was the other way around and it was published in 2019 and you watched it in 2008. But with it published in 2008 and you watching in 2019, that's not so impressive.
The error report part, it speaks to me.
The Neo in this skit sounds like Napoleon Dynamite lol
Well it have this "whoah!" moment when the bullet slowdown while loading. That's a Keanu Reeves' (or Ted's) trademark tho. Excellent!! (and subtle...)
omg thats all I hear now
“I’m trying to save the universe! God!”
*Kung Fury
"It used to run really well... but it slowed down over time..."
I spat soda across the room and choked for a minute over that.
Johnny Sunday hahhahaha.....yeah
Defragmentation of Fat32 drives references.
I've just getting that one after all this years.
A classic I had forgot all about and YT recommended it to me again 10 years later.
Rip college humor doing well done sketches
Windows, Mac, Linux, et cetera all run just fine if you take care of your computer.
1/3 of the Os-Es stated in that comment should be removed....
Bentley Did I miss something?
Windows.... even if you take care of it, it will still slow down after a certain period of time.
Bentley I've had my PC, running Windows 7 for two years and runs just like the day I got it.
Sooooo, false.
Buts thats you. Not the rest of the people.
Unfreeze!
Unfreeze!
Try ctrl+alt+delete!
if power button doesn't work, remove the battery
+nikhil k lol,I always unplug and then hit the power button several times to drain any current available.
+nikhil k That's my name! What's your last name?
Actually this fits Vista much better.
"Hope you have cookies enabled", is such a memorable and amazing line in this amazing video. It is just epic. The heroically stupid epic tragic irony of her saying that while cooking cookies in a windows-xp run matrix, makes it one of those lines for the ages that needs to be preserved for generations to come, it's like the most memorable lines Shakespeare ever wrote put together. Alas poor yorick you got nothin' on this. And yet..... it's still not even the most epic line of this video. That honor belongs to "Sooner or later, we all encounter an error. You will have to make a choice. To send an error report, or not to send it. But, is there a difference?" THAT RIGHT THERE, THAT is windows xp!
On June 25, 2018, the time between this video being posted and the present will be equal to the time between the Matrix being released and this video being posted.
Well, it's well past that date already. :)
"Hope you have cookies enabled!"
That line kills me every time.
"911, whats your emergency?" "We have a man with the case of dieing from cookies enabled" "Your screwed then" "Crap"
MinecraftUnification He had type 0100010001101001011000010110001001100101011101000111010101110011 diabetus due to the cookies
Daan Box I'm surprised you actually encoded it :P
it looks like you're trying to copy a joke, would you like me to help you with that?
You know what I love about this video? It is one of the very few that doesn't ask me to like and subscribe! Since they aren't begging for likes on this one I think I'll actually give it a thumbs up! Generally any video that begs for subs and likes over and over I'll dislike even if it was a good video.
***** I love it when people like you think people upload videos "for free"
***** Then people shouldn't complain about shows like The Simpsons and Family Guy since they are getting them for free.
Make sure to FUCKING SMASH THE SHIT OUT OF THAT LIKE BUTTON
Wow, that's just... wow.
I spent time on this video but i want no help to make myself more popular to help me support my life on here
Wow, 11 years and now I see this in my recommendation! What a timing to unfreeze.
It could always be worse. The Matrix could be running on Windows ME.
Or 95 for that matter
Or Windows 8.
Dare I say vista
Or Windows RG (real good)
Yeah, ME was the only version of Windows that I had to give up on and roll back. People bitch about Vista but it never gave me a moments trouble; never crashed, never had to reinstall, never had to back out patches... of course, I bought Windows Vista at the same time I built the hardware for it....
Never used 8 so I can't weigh in on it; 10 has been OK but for me Vista (at home) and 7 (at work) had been the sweet spot for me.
"The progress bar is moving but the remaining time is going up" I just LOL there. Good old XP and its BSOD's
Imagine the Matrix on Windows Vista..
i was gonna type that lol
I love the delivery on "Try CTRL+ALT+DEL!"
*7 years later...* nothing has changed.
What happened to the spoon?
It got forked (egh egh egh ! )
+Kari Sinkko ur jokes arent funny
you aren't funny
+1 like for the horribly hilarious pun.
There was not a spoon in this video. You need to realize that truth.
This is the version where Neo takes the other pill...
3:20 Progress bar is moving but the remaining time is going up!
Still funny to this day... 😂😂
Many people will not get this joke as with today's fast internet you will rarely encounter this "feature".
12 years later these video is recommended by RUclips
My system crashed while I watched this video
Fucking irony.
go search for "significative coincidence"
or sincronicity
As a South African, the ubuntu joke had on the floor. the pronunciation was priceless.
Because you know the Ubuntu os? Or because the name of the os translates in Afrikaans?
Today I found out: how Americans pronounce Ubuntu
Isn’t it crazy that college humor is an umbrella label for like 5 different full groups of people
'This is customer support, agent Jones from Connecticut, please hold,' said with Hindu accent and Indian ethnic music during hold was spot on and funny as hell - better than anything Saturday Night Live had in a decade.
it just sucks he didn't say: herro sir, please come again XD if he'd said that that'd really have made my day.
checthisshitout but.. but that would be way over the top racist. my politically correct implant is still beeping after reading what you wrote.
Self Stirring Pot dude look around you, everything is racist these days... toilet paper, racist... why? because it's white :| books, racist... why? because there's more white paper than black letters :|
black carpet, racist... why? because people step on it :|
this list goes on quite a while, so yeah...
checthisshitout ain't that the truth, sorry, i am still overcoming years worth of progressive indoctrination.
checthisshitout
Actually...there are usually more black words than white paper in a novel >.> just throwin that out there.
when collegehumor was funny
meh it was really hit and miss back then.
John Alexander but it had hits. now its complete garbage.
when was that?
When CollegeHumor was funny.
This was 10 years ago, maybe it's only because it hasn't held up all these years, or because numerous jokes about The Matrix have been made since then, but even this isn't that funny. To me CollegeHumor was funny when it was just a small, mostly user-submitted site, back in the early 2000s (which interestingly, was when I was in college lol).
Maybe it's because it was actually college based humor, as opposed to now, where they are just yet another site making (bad) parodies about pop culture.
Windows XP is great. They must have been using Windows Vista
Still a better love story than Matrix Ressurections
