66585 tnt 66520 with 6Y60 Ballast at Danzey. 16 May 2023

A rare daylight ballast outing for Freightliner locomotives on the North Warwickshire Line as 66585 + 66520 passed Danzey station with 6Y60 to Bescot at 06.23 on 16 May 2023. It was running about 30 minutes early which didn't help with the shadows across the platform and track.

Hi Tony,
Good to hear from you and thanks for the comment. The NWL stations haven't looked so good for years as the SLPG and various Friends of Stations Group have adopted them and planted flowers and keep them looking good. I believe that the station building at Henley in Arden may soon be refurbished and repurposed.
