I have the same problem. Mouse usually comes back when I right click and click Personalize settings option. Cursor is very buggy, otherwise everything seems to be usable
I had to use Tab to switch between selected buttons and either Space Bar or Enter to "click" the selected button until I got to Windows and from there I had to click the mouse icon on the UTM window that Windows is running in to capture the mouse. To release the mouse back to MacOS it's Ctrl+Alt+Esc on a Windows keyboard. On a Mac keyboard I'm not 100% certain, but it's probably Ctrl+Option+Esc???
