  • Many Christians listen to Jordan Peterson since much of his philosophy aligns with conservative truth... but does this mean that Christians should be listening to him? Emilio Ramos dives deeply into this topic to help Christians understand whether or not Jordan Peterson is someone they should consult when seeking biblical truth.

Very helpful explanation of Peterson's Jungian syncretistic moralism. Thank you!

"Plagiarism" is a vicious attack, especially since Peterson consistently cites his sources and integrates his own work with the works of others, pointing out similarities and differences, and his agreement or disagreement with those sources.
That's not plagiarism. It's scholarly analysis.

You seem to have missed a very important point. Peterson and his followers tend to be surprised by how much of what he is finding in psychology can be predicted if one studies scripture.
He is profoundly respectful of scripture and I do believe his tears are am appropriate response from one who recognizes the glory of God and the sinful nature we bring before Him. That Peterson hasn't professed a saving faith in Christ YET is further evidence that he understands the profundity of that step.
Remember the Lord took Saul of Tarsus on a 3 year sojourn after his encounter with Jesus on the road to Damascus before Paul was fit to preach the Gospel.
Jordan Peterson starts from a philosophical/religious position exponentially further from the truth of Christianity than Saul.
In the meantime, while moralism won't save anyone, living a morally upright life will be better in the long run for all involved and MAY cause one, as it seems to be causing JP, to begin to search for the source of true goodness, which I continue to pray both Dr. Peterson and his followers will find in Jesus.
All that said, painting Peterson with the brush dipped in Jungian occultism discredits your scholarship. Peterson distances himself from it, while recognizing Jung's academic brilliance, just as you have here. Are we to discredit you for doing the same?
