Well I was so I did. Simple as that Edd. Were you confused by the road signs showing miles per hour and the speed clock in km per hour? If so I can understand your confusion.
@@cloudmaker Not at all just thinking that if I was passing the van and necessarily using the oncoming lane I’d have waited for the oncoming traffic to pass or stop. Also your use of the oncoming lane was unnecessary during your emergency braking in my opinion. Other than that I’m in complete agreement with you. And before you decide I’m a car driving moron I’m also a LGV driver so under other circumstances I’d back you 100%. I’d give you mitigation for the van if the road is wider than it appears due to the camera lense effect however it does appear that you are taking priority when you should have been giving it.
@@eddherring4972 Well I have to say that was a well put opinion and mild put down Edd, and all done without reverting to insults. The van driver in my opinion failed in the very basic rule of look right, look left and right again, as he started pulling out when I was in full view. Of course I could have stayed behind him but drivers like this have a habit of doing the unexpected and it's just better to hedge your bets as there was no oncoming traffic immediately there. Some get offended at being beeped at and slam on the brakes. As you might know. Thank you for the comprehensive comeback I did like the challenge. All the best.
That was a close one, and a so called delivery driver who drives for a living and should know better. It does not mater what you drive if it's a wagon bus or van, the road is there tool and if you don't use your tools right it can break. Stay safe my mate catch you soon take care
Hello Shaun believe it or not I've had an even closer one today on the same bit of road in the pouring rain, came round a corner just previous to this to find cars stopped right on a tight bend. Buttock clenching! Not sure if it was some sort of road rage as one sporty car did a U - turn and raced back. Take care mate.
Might be a reason it says SLOW before a blind spot and although he shouldn't have pulled out like he did if you were driving a bit slower approaching you wouldn't have to swerve all over the road facing oncoming traffic.
The slow marker on the road is for the upcoming cross road ahead, of where he pulled out and those road signs are in miles per hour but clock shows km/h.
At least it slowed you down to just above the speed limit as you passed the sign. 72kph=45mph &62 kph=39mph Then you're banging on about it instead of moving on
Well I suppose you can round it up to 45mph if it makes you feel better. There you are, I've moved on, and you do feel better don't you? A nice feeling isn't it knowing you've achieved something. I'm sure you'll now sleep well and won't think about this at all having got that off your chest. 😉😁😂🤣🤣
The speeding comments 😂 Yes how very dare you come down a descent at 4mph below the previous speed limit and not dangerously slam your brakes on to ensure you were doing below 40 by the sign! 😂
That's one of "those" driveways, where it would have paid for Mr Ocado to have his window down to listen & his eyes open to see. 1:04 Ooh, ooh! I know! He's soiled himself. Now looking for somewhere to stop... 🤣🤣
@@ginskimpivot753 Well if you don't know it's 45.9815 miles per hour. I hope that helps, you can find this on the computer quite easily. Of course placing all your facts on how and when the speed recording on screen appears is a little more difficult to find, and you are obviously oblivious to these facts. Whilst you're taking the time to read this I will point out the channel rules regarding viewing and especially commenting on here. You will find them on the Derbyshire Trucker's Dash Cam videos. @@cloudmaker You maintained an over the limit speed crossing the start of the hazard triangles, and braked hard at the last minute, having taken no regard of them. @@ginskimpivot753 I knew that would get you back here! 🤣🤣🤣 But just for you information when I'm down to 18mph the speed is registering 58-52 kmph. Remember the bit about how these things work. You didn't go find that did you, what with the over excitement of banging on that keyboard. Please come back again, it keeps the viewing figures up.👍😁😁
Ah well spotted, I thought it was just badly aligned but it did not match right did it. Good observation, certainly a lot better than this drivers! All the best Ian.

OK. Looking at the speed measured on the left as the marked hazard was approached, it increased slightly. At 0:01 I would be going at a crawl down that road, not 71km/h!
So on a road that goes from 50mph to 40mph you'd be going at a crawl, so about 5 or 6mph tops then. Well OK then, I'm going to believe you would. 🙍♂😮🤷♂
dangerous stretch of road that .. the junctıon at 42 secs ıs even wurse
Yes indeed, good job I wasn't racing on there. Thank you for watching Jhon.

43mph was going a little bit to fast round a blind bend, just saying!
In a perfect world you wouldn't brake ,wipe it out, with no repercussions. Top driving skills demonstrated in the 47th film❤

This is all a matter of two things: manners and consideration. Many drivers (dare I say white-van drivers?) have neither unfortunately1

Let's just forget that you were also speeding at the key moment.
The road signs are miles per hour not Km/h that the clock is in, so I can see how you were confused so easily.
