Love your truck man. I’ve had my 22 refresh Silverado going on 3 months now and love it. Also black. First day I got it started using torque detail products on it. I did install the gloss door pillars and recon taillights that you put on stormtrooper and really set off the truck

The new 1500 GM V8 come with 3.23 gear standard. You have to sacrifice the z71 and x31 off-road packages to get the max trailering package with the 3.42 gears. But the 3.0L IL6 diesel can be option with 3.73 gears in it's max trailer package but again have to give up the off road package. Long since the days of 4.10 gears in stock 1500.

@@fenkellmoney8034 I actually FINALLY got them installed a few weeks ago. I called GM Corporate and got a super nice lady on the phone. She said she would make sure I got it handled and then she did. She called the local dealership where I bought my truck. Then they called me and said the parts were on the way. They called back 3 days later to arrange a date to bring it up. Took it the following week and they even replaced the entire center button cluster when they added the seat heater buttons. Said they wanted them to all look the same age. That surprised me. We had our first burst of super cold weather 2 weeks after I got them installed 🤘🏼. I was stoked.
@@fenkellmoney8034 Also I have been fortunate and haven’t had any issues so far. I’ve actually had the truck 1 year to day today. I drive A LOT. I’ve put 34,000 miles on it in that 1 year. Crazy amount of driving. It’s held up great so far. I put an additional 2” lift on it and some 35” nitto recon grapplers. Being a Trail Boss it already had a 2” factory lift so it’s a 4” now. Replaced the Upper control arms with the beefy Ready Lift arms. Other than that it’s still stock and been solid….Thankfully!!
I do like the origami tailgate. Definitely better than the other brands' equivalents. But what I like even more is having a pickup bed at a more ergonomic height. 20-30 years ago, it was typical for a pickup bed to be like knee-to-thigh high unless he truck was specifically modified for off-road use. Now every truck - the vast majority of which will never see anything other than suburban pavement for their entire service lives - have their bed hip-to-waist high. So contrivances like origami tailgates with integrated staircases and motorized cabin sidesteps push the price and complexity of the vehicle up.

@@ericburden578 not sure what mpg you used for each but the numbers are off based on the stated combined for both
Wireless charger is fundamentally broken. You move the car an inch and it disconnects
Nice truck! What kind of wheels you have on your truck and how big are the wheels and tires and what's the offset and do you have wheel spacers? Thanks in advance!
Worried about rock chips, puts tires on that stick out and probably throw rocks all over.
About the paint try Avalon ceramic coatings made my black truck like new again it’s a DIY
Check it out . That would be a great video to add to the lineup
I just bought me a new refresh Black Silverado 1500 and absolutely love it. Better buy a Polisher
Nice truck! Hopefully you dont have any lifter issues. Seen a lot of reports of GM lifter failures with only a few thousand miles. Mostly vehicles manufactured in last couple years.
Yup mine did at 2000 miles.. what a piece of crap truck
3.42 gears ? Highway gears. You need some 4.10s with 35s
Long since the days of 4.10 gears in stock 1500.
in my 2020 sierra i always sit in the middle seat in the back. I love it
It’s not GM paint. It’s just black.
I’d like a non metallic black.
Whats the point of having leather seats if you have shitty camo seat covers over them
3.42 gearing really isn’t that great either. 3.73 would be better
Is that a 2 inch lift what size of rims what are those rims called those look sharp nice
First things first… It’s a sick truck. Secondly, I drive an 07’ 5.4 f-150. I love everything about it except for the timing chains and cam phasers😬🙃
3 valve life 😂
@@cameronsaint116It’s a love hate relationship…
I have a 2014 Silverado z71 LT…I love the 5.3 and the sound. Love love the looks of Chevy. Hate the fact that it isn’t a full crew cab
I have the new 22 Silverado High Country. Love the new interior and infotainment. Hate the new door/tailgate open chime.
Lol. Good luck on those heated seats dude. Lol 😂 I’ve had my 2022 for 9 months and the service manager at Chevrolet said I’ll either pay the truck off or sell it before I see those parts. Lol 😆
Yup get a lawyer.. I went through the same thing with a bunch of bs from gmc and I got a lawyer next day they had it fixed 😂😂 dealer told me all the new gmc trucks are missing parts and there promising everyone they send the parts when they come. Mine broke down at 2000 miles now I’m at 40k and all kinds of other issues are happening. I’m selling and getting a ford f450
Toggle off Bluetooth when you're filming or something.
nice truck . what state are you in?
Should of gotten that paint protection cover honestly bro
I love the look of my 2018 Silverado, but I hate the seats. Had a 2006 and the seats were so much better.
I have a white 21 AT4. It has bad rock chips on the front bumper already. Everytime I wash I seem new marks
So you have straight pipes from the cats back? Is that what u meant by cat back?
Yeah I will keep my 2012 Silverado and keep making improvements. Thanks 👍
Unfortunately it limits the content you can put out on this truck.
Your lucky you got a new truck why complain 😅
I have 2020 and I love it. If you ever drive a 6.2 you will never buy a 5.3 again. I have a 6.2 in my truck and it does not need any modifications.
Owned a 21 with 6.2 before this. They always need mods lol
I just bought a 2022 slt x31 today and love it so far
