For gods sake call it Kemble Airfield, everybody can find that on the map.

It’s Kemble on ICAO yes but they prefer Cotswold airport lol

Most pilots, out of hours of operation, radio up as "Kemble Traffic" and during hours of operation it's "Kemble Information". It's always been Kemble to me✌️👍😊 I guess the company/phrase "Cotswold Airport" fulfils other criteria 🤔😉

Great video, some good cops. Surprisingly busy with GA for a week day too. Nice to see a regional airport gainfully employed ✌️👍😊

The generic term for those aircraft is eVTOL.
BTW, you could have simply Google’d the registration, G-EVTA.

why have all the props turning when just taxing forward?

As it's electric powered I would suggest the horizontal props are disconnected from any gearing and 'free wheeling' in the airflow generated by the props used for taxiing....
      Just like an autogiro......🤷
They could even be 'topping up' the batteries by generating electricity. The same as in an electric or hybrid car under braking or power from the on board liquid fuel drive engine.....

Sorry to say but G-EVTA does not look like a very practical aircraft, too many motors going at once is bound to have synchro problems. just build an electric powered helicopter.

I’m sure they have researched it

@@ydmaviation I don`t doubt they have, but my point is it looks like a very impractical solution.
More things to go wrong, keep it simple.
