@@informedandfree9828 that's a good question! I don't have an answer to that. I'm not sure if any of these craft paints are archival. But I do know that milk paint is the most basic paint that has been used for hundreds and hundreds of years. The casein portion in milk actually forms a "plastic".

Thank you so much Heather for your help, I have failed so many Pours because it turns to mud. I have such a difficult times getting clean color separation, my colors tend to blend too much and become one or two colors on the canvas. I have recently made some different PM's watching Videos. I find it difficult on my paint mixture, too thin or too thick. I think if I hear the term "Warm Honey" I might have a nervous breakdown, LOL I know perception is different for everyone. I think one of my problems is I watch a Video and think if I use the same product, and try the same technique, it should look the same, LOL I have been a Card Maker & Scrapbooker for over 40 yrs and know how to use paper and ink colors to compliment. However, Paint is a different Theory and that I have to learn. Yes, you are very lucky to have someone that loves you and support you, to allow you to consume your main living space. My husband built me a 400 sq ft room addition for my Card Making and Scrapbooking. Of course, as time went on, I out grew it and took over our oldest Son's bedroom when he went off to college. Our youngest Son, moved out a cpl of years ago and I told my husband I needed more room for Crafts, so he built me a wonderful for Painting and Liquid type crafts. I got into Paint Pouring about 6 months ago and now I have Canvases everywhere in our Guest bedroom aka our youngest Daughter's room, LOL My kids tease me all the time that once they moved out I made sure they couldn't move back, LOL So, I am also very spoiled and appreciate it. Again, I want to thank you for your helpful and inspiring Videos. I am looking forward to watching all of your Videos. I do have to say, that I cannot watch them late at night because your voice is so smooth & soothing, it puts me to sleep if I'm tired in the least, LOL

Hello Heather. I am very new to this amazing world of painting and loving every second of it. I found this clip especially interesting after the plan in my head went totally wrong at the weekend.
I attempted my first sink strainer pour and the plan was for a bright colourful red, orange and yellow result. What I ended up with was a green and brown sludge with very thin lines of red laced through it.
In the end with a bit of fiddling around, I managed to save a painting that strangely enough quite a few people actually like so not a completely wasted exercise, just not the result I had planned.
I would also just like to add as many others have your voice and calm delivery are a joy, as is your artwork.

It made me wonder why I didn't spend some of that time just TRYING FOR REAL instead of taking notes. lol. Just a hint if anyone’s interested. I’ve been using milk paint for years and you can make it yourself for about $1.50 a quart. All you need is a quart of skim milk one lemon and that’s it. Leave it overnight to curdle. In the morning sieve and keep the curd and add your pigment wet or dry.

Pamela Goodyear Do you like your drive pigments or your make up colours or whatever you want to use including acrylic pigments paints to the curd. There is many recipes that you can use the whey So that you’re not wasting that product as well. I am match over 65 and my mother even over 100 years old he was this for many of her paintings as well she is to integrate that with oil’s because it would separate and give her incredible definition with a lot of her work. Hope this works for all people.

You have a soothing voice and you're a very creative person. I want to try this technique so bad. My acrylics aren't the kind that pour though.

I use normal acrylics and add floetrol or pouring medium to them to create the "flow"

Omg you are a God sent, been frustrated layering my paints for past couple of days. Almost gave up. I'm new to this so I'm learning as I go, but I was struggling. Thank you so much. You should make a chart PDF and sell it. I would buy it post it on my wall. Or if you have a link with this explanation with color chart let me know. Again thank you
