It was pointed out that at one point I'm complaining about "muddy" colors when creating my flower ~ even though my goal was to show you how NOT to muddy your colors. To explain further: I'm getting muddy colors because there is a lot of reddish and green colors together, which we know make MUD. So of course when I'm rolling my balloon over it again and again, they start to blend together. But in the video I go on to show you a "fix" if something like this happens to you....so don't give up, there is usually a way to save your painting! :) Have a beautiful day everyone! :)
Pretty. Love the fact that you can make the paints look like they turn 180 degrees. Then there are the embellishments. Thanks for the info on layering colors.
This one was such a surprise for me...you kept doing things I didn’t expect...instinctive additions & techniques that make your art so unique. I love some of the beautiful greens, but never seem to know what to pair them with - I love this combo, even though it’s outside of my palette comfort zone. I love watching you work through your process by the seat of your courageous pants, Heather!

You always seem to be the one that draws me back in so I can fully understand better what in the world I am trying to learn and do myself. Thank you for these very helpful videos. Looking forward to more Heather! Beautiful work you create!!!!

Very beautiful. Colors are exquisite. Love your teaching.
I love the way paint behaves when you place it on the canvas. You have a confidence that is a pleasure to experience. Not confidence in the usual sense, just an agreement between you and the paint that you will create something beautiful together. Not something easy, but worth the time and effort. A beautiful pour as always.

Now for something completely different: after the you covered the edges, I see things like faces in the painted area...yeah, I know I'm weirdness personified, nothing new there. My brain always seems drawn to patterns. So I in this I see a Halloween type ghost, a possible moray eel and two human faces. It's like looking at clouds. What do you see?
