I think this is one of the best phones in 2021 because Apple finally perfected the tiny phone and they're really the only ones offering this form factor. It may not be a foldable but what it is,is a phone for people who don't wanna constantly be sucked into their phone but still want a good product. A 7 inch screen is awesome but sometimes it's nice to have a phone that just works when you need it,as opposed to a huge consumption device that consumes you.
Exactly. If I used my phone constantly, I'd get a Pixel. Android is easier to use and offers better customizability. But I don't use my phone obsessively. So I'd rather get a small phone that works consistently without fuss. That's why I got the iPhone Mini.
@@smileychess Yeah, originally when I posted that comment I was strongly considering it,but I got mine a month or so ago and it’s 100% perfect for me and my use.
I actually have an iPhone 8 right now and I’ve been using it since it’s release date, so about 3-4 years I think. It’s been serving me well but the battery has degraded to 76% and it’s been getting slower. I’m due for an upgrade fortunately and I’m definitely gonna pick up the 13 mini tomorrow. Personally I like smaller iPhones because they just fit better in my hands as well as my pockets, so I think the 13 mini is a good choice!
I bought one, coming form an iPhone 11and am very happy indeed. It's a huge upgrade from that phone with far better camera and screen. The battery life seems to be about the same and easily gets me through the day, though I don't go in for high intensity stuff such as video games.. Best of all though is the form factor. Although the screen is supposedly small, 5.4" is actually the perfect size for a phone imho. There's very little that seems cramped and being able to use it with one hand is a massive boon. The only irritations are the retention of the notch and not moving over to USB-C connection, but all iPhones have these issues.
Since support for my trusty 6s is being terminated, it was time to go looking. I decided on the 13 mini. The 13 mini is comparable in size to the 6s - a little smaller but a little thicker but still about the same weight. But the performance is incomparable. A bit of a learning curve going from 6 to 13, but anyone looking to replace an older small device, I couldn't recommend this little guy more. A quality instrument that I expect to use until Apple decides to not support it anymore.
I’ve been trying to cling to my 6s, but it’s been glitching lately. Didn’t know about the support being terminated, but guess I’ve got to upgrade either way. Good to hear the 13 mini is the way to go.
I went from an iPhone 12 pro max to an iPhone 13 mini. Definitely noticed smaller battery size. But the compact factor of the 13 mini outweighs the smaller battery. Just keep a 20 W charger in the car and on the nightstand and keep a wireless charger on the desk and you should be fine.

I also don’t plan on writing music or edit films though the A15 is up to the task. Doing this leaves me with 100GB of storage space. More than enough for my needs. I might have gone with the 256GB but I would just wind up with even more unused space for $100 more! So, I went with the base model and saved a $100 since it was $599 with T-Mobile's promo price. Add $180 trade in and I got mine for $480!!! That was over a month ago. How has it faired? Fantastic!

Phone & tablet size has disproportionately risen lately when they were always originally intended to be small, the iPhone mini 13 & the iPad mini 6 are the perfect combination of fully functioning lightweight powerful products in a compact portable format, expensive yes but totally unique & niche.
While the iPhone 13 mini is definitely a major improvement over the iPhone 12 mini, I'd still recommend a slightly thicker case because of the high cost of the device ($799 for the 256 GB version). I'd recommend something like the Spigen Ultra Hybrid clear, which offers good protection without adding too much bulk to the phone itself. I have the 13 mini and the one thing I don’t like is the battery. The last iPhone I had was the 11. It would end the day after the same use with 45-50%. But my mini usually ends the work day with 20% and a few times I had to charge at work. I work on the dock so I’ll use my phone as a podcast or RUclips video watching device alongside my station. Great review. I'm on my 2nd day with the 13 mini, coming from an XR. Loving the form factor so far. I'm really pleased with it and thinking it may be really hard to return to the larger screens in the future after this. Been there and done that for many years.

One of the best things about this phone that I haven’t seen mentioned anywhere is how ridiculously easy it makes it to pay with Apple Pay. It’s beyond convenient to whip this manageable sized phone out of your pocket for point of sale machine purchases. Truly that is one of my favourite things about using the 13 mini.
I’m very satisfied with my red mini. Camera is great, batter life is way better than I expected. Smaller notch looks way better than the old one on 12 mini (I think look of the new notch on bigger iPhones reminds huawei lol) speaker looks also slim an beautiful. The only con is lightning. C’mon, it’s the end of the 2021 and we still have usb 2.0. All the rest is excellent on this small guy.
I’m also thinking of getting the mini and was considering product red. Can you explain what the color and the texture of the back is like? Also what’s the battery life like?
@@sidv4615 battery life is great for such a small & powerful phone. After 12 hours I got 40-60% battery left with approximately 5 hours of screen time. The colour is actually red, not like light red on 12. It’s like blood/rose red, I really like it.

The best Iphone ever is iPhone 13 Mini. Hope Apple keep having it in phone lineup. Any way I bought and will keep one for me to use for long time, 05 coming years at least.
Thanks for the video. I'm an Android user making the big switch to the iPhone 13 mini. I'm making some big trade-offs, but am fed up with how random and inconsistent accessibility for the visually impaired community is in Samsung devices. Ease of use, and playing well together are crucial for me now, and the mini gets me started in iOS with a little extra cash to get a watch, some earbuds, or an iPad.
It's amazing to me that the iPhone 13 has the same amount of icons as the Mini. Certainly as it relates to the home screen, there's not much advantage for the extra $100...
Tbh if you're not a big gamer and are not a constant video shooting user, the phone's amazing. I'm not a gamer, use the camera maybe for a minute or two a day max, tons of social media and have a 4:45hr-6h SoT average on 4G and honestly, the lowest battery % I've had left on a 14hr day is 30%.
The mini is a good size but not with that ginormous notch. It’s 2021 and iPhone users are still forced to live with a notch for something thats being used 2% of your day. The notch is not there to improve your viewing, gaming, or browsing experience. So I don’t understand why apple is keeping it. I have tried face recognition on ipad, in display fingerprint on my samsung note. They are okay features but they’re not the best. Like when you have to swipe up to open the ipad after the fact that your face is recognized is just silly. In display fingerprint scanners are not as fast as 1st gen backmounted scanners. There’s nothing wrong if you go back to old technology that works but definitely wrong in sticking too bad tech.
@@rohithreddy75 i don't about everyone but when i pick up my phone or ipad it is always because I want to use it for something. I rarely pick up my device to see the notifications panel. Ohhh and to answer your question... You can swipe down anytime to see notifications after the device is unlocked..... whether it's Android or ios
I have one on order and I can’t wait for its arrival! I’m not only ditching a large phone, the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra, but obviously Android too. I’m tired of the bulk. I’ll use my iPad for games and such. Thanks for the ad on the case, it looks perfect!

I'm upgrading from a Samsung Galaxy Android to the iPhone 13 minute before I went to another Galaxy phone I used to have the second Gen se. Not sure if ill go with the 3rd gen se or the 13 but 13 mini.
If you are just a regular user mini will suffice. The battery is decent enough for me. I dont mind charging it every night. I love my iphone13 mini ❤️❤️
wasnt gonna upgrade this year either from an x but since the screen broke on me decided to go ahead and get this phone. Was a tough battle to decide between this or the pro but after a while this seem like the best bang for ur buck. The camera suck but i have a dedicated camera anyway, so the only lost was the 120hz :( but i love the size since 6.1 is low key for me this was a bit smaller than the x but low key after a few hours of using it u dont even notice it. Used the extra money i woulda spend on the pro on case and battery and charging cables xD
I bought one because it is the only phone that fits in a shirt pocket that is decent. There are smaller phones like the Unihertz Jelly 2 but they sacrifice usability for their size.
The mini series brought me back to ios after 6 years of android. Ive got a s23 and a 13 mini. The minis size is perfect and i believe its only apple who could make a flag ship of this size due to how efficient ios is compared to andriod.
I’m so upset I couldn’t get the pink I ended up with blue because I needed to port over but hopefully they’ll get more locally before my exchange period is up
If you’re shelling such high price, You definitely don’t want to compromise on extra screen state. Hence poor sales. All they have to do is lower the price.
I use i phone 13 mini. It’s awesome. And for my type of use it gives me almost 24 hrs battery backup from 80% to 20%. I feel that that is super. I am not a heavy user though. it is giving me similar battery backup as my Samsung A51 with similar usage.
Do you feel like it is heating a lot? I run the antutu benchmark and without case it was getting veery hot. I wonder if i have a bad piece or if it does heat up because it is a small phone?

Apple's production is locked in for the next year so by the time they found out the 12 mini wasn't selling well it's not like they could stop the 13 mini.
Rumors are saying no, they’re gonna have two 6.1 inch iPhones (1 a pro the other a regular) and then two 6.7 inch iPhones (1 a pro the other a regular)
Is the weight noticeable from the 13 in real-life uses? Would you take this over the 13 because of the battery and screen? BTW I loved the PHNX cases and will get one when I get the iPhone 13 mini too!
I can only compare the 13 mini to my 6s. Weight is about the same. Size is a little thicker but also a little smaller. Screen landscape makes a big diff. No blackouts at top and bottom. Battery life has been very good. Unless you are a power-user, one charge a day at night when you are sleeping is more than adequate. During heavy use during setup, file xfer etc, I still had 60 % at the end of the day. A great, small phone with tons of features for the common man, woman or child.
The only thing that stop me from buying this smartphone is the zoom, is it bad? I don’t take so many shots , especially with zoom camera on my iPhone X , but I wouldn’t like to spend 800€ for a smartphone that gives me bad results , even in the mode that I use less
800 pounds, you’re getting ripped off unless it’s a 512gb! iPhone 13 mini will take better pictures with a notable difference between the two so you should be fine
Ever since I got the 13 mini I see people at the grocery stores or other random places with these big phones and I’m like what the heck lol to each their own. I love it fits perfectly in my jean pocket. And it basically does all i need it for talk and text.
@@adamandeve1612 hey man, so I used the se2 for a year and upgraded to the 13 mini. I have to be honest and say it wasn’t really that worth the upgrade. I was able to trade in my se2 for full $400 price (because of a T-Mobile promotion) so the mini only cost me $300 out of pocket. And even then it wasn’t exactly worth it. So if you’re planning on spending the full $700 out of pocket, I’d say it’s not worth it at all. At the end of the day your se2 does everything the mini 13 does just as well, with a slightly worse camera and slightly worse battery.
@@Nogitsune_Yako that's exactly what i thought when i saw the color on the net. Now i'll definitely get the red. Btw how easy is it really to get the phone smudged?
@@sidv4615 I can’t answer on this question because I’m using the case since I unboxed the phone. Transparent Spigen Ultra Hybrid Mag Case.
Just bought it yesterday- 512 gb, product red. Came from 12 mini.
Is the battery better than 12?
@@JoleneAliciaElias yes
@@JoleneAliciaElias The battery in my 13 mini out last my iPhone 12 (6.1 inch display) you definitely won’t be disappointed in the battery of this iPhone.
Years ago I said 5.4 was the perfect size for day to day use and one handed texting and usability
good observation
I bought it, really happy so far - solid phone
What issues were you having with the accessibility features on Android?
It would have been a slam dunk at the iPhone SE price point but it's a hard sell for me at $700 with its small battery and 60 Hz display
It's amazing to me that the iPhone 13 has the same amount of icons as the Mini. Certainly as it relates to the home screen, there's not much advantage for the extra $100...
Some ppl like me aren't able to use smaller phones because of big hands haha plus I prefer the bigger screen for a games or videos
Iphone 13 mini is a great companion when it comes to running & hiking
Tbh if you're not a big gamer and are not a constant video shooting user, the phone's amazing. I'm not a gamer, use the camera maybe for a minute or two a day max, tons of social media and have a 4:45hr-6h SoT average on 4G and honestly, the lowest battery % I've had left on a 14hr day is 30%.
I guess I'm going to have to buy a bigger phone since I'll be using the camera quite a lot.
@@shauncameron8390 Yeah! I'd recommend that. You'd be much more comfortable with it battery wise :)
How will you view notifications if you still dont see the notifications panel after face id. Thats the reason they kept it
@@rohithreddy75 i don't about everyone but when i pick up my phone or ipad it is always because I want to use it for something.
Thanks for the ad on the case, it looks perfect!
nobody reported that the 13 mini would be cancelled, quite the contrary. It was stated that it will be the last mini iPhone, as the upcoming iPhone 14 will have a different lineup
upgraded to this from an Iphone 7 and the difference is over the top
With that case looks better for the frosty finish love it
only thing I would change is get rid of the notch completely even if it means no selfie camera
I decided to switch from my 6.67 inch phablet to normal human hand sized phone and imagine my surprise when I found out that only iPhone could offer such phone, I'm really amazed that every phone manufacturer with a good name produces only 6+ inch phones nowadays
Yeay got mine and for my wife this 13 mini haha happy 7th anniversary to both of us😘
Although I already have the 13 pro max I really want an iPhone 12 mini product red entirely because of the looks.
The light pink color looks so cute
Hi great review :) my iPhone 7 just broke and does’t reconize the mic and earphones anymore so i think i’m going to’ upgrade and buy the mini
Sanaol
What is your charging cycle?
wasnt gonna upgrade this year either from an x but since the screen broke on me decided to go ahead and get this phone.
Just got it today and the size is the main reason why I got it! It's so good!
I returned the 13 pro after 2wks of usage for the 13 mini, coz the pro just felt too heavy n bulky.
13 pro is not that heavy and is of same weight as 8+
@@rohithreddy75 well…..That’s why I’m not using the 13 pro or the 8+😅
Which color on the mini?
@@D_kiki999 Lol whatever works for you,What did u purchase then?
exactly same here 😂
I bought one because it is the only phone that fits in a shirt pocket that is decent. There are smaller phones like the Unihertz Jelly 2 but they sacrifice usability for their size.
Hi. Can you please share a link to the wallpaper ?
The mini series brought me back to ios after 6 years of android. Ive got a s23 and a 13 mini. The minis size is perfect and i believe its only apple who could make a flag ship of this size due to how efficient ios is compared to andriod.
I wish they released an iPhone Pro Mini, so it has all the cameras and better battery life!
Hands down is by far the most comfy one to use one handed....
Brennan and Dale says, “So much extra space in our pocket to do activities”, when asked about the iPhone 13 Mini.
I still think the mini is worth it although I bought the regular size 13 in pink.
I’m so upset I couldn’t get the pink I ended up with blue because I needed to port over but hopefully they’ll get more locally before my exchange period is up
Is anyone else completely psyched for when iPhones don't have a notch and it's just even bezel all the way around? I think that idea is just awesome!
I hope that happens one day! With the new MacBook Pros getting the notch though…I almost feel like Apple doubled down on that design 🙃
Yes!
Lmao Android phones have had that for years, pathetic iphone fanboys paying thousand plus for a notch.

PHNX Cases have good grip?
Give me 120Hz and even better battery life next year and I might seriously consider the 14 mini.
would 120 Hz refresh draw more power?
If you’re shelling such high price, You definitely don’t want to compromise on extra screen state. Hence poor sales. All they have to do is lower the price.
Yonthat wallpaper looks great on the pink iphone. May i know where u got it?
You get those great cameras and screen in this tiny shell. Oh, and a bigger battery! Win for Apple here.
I upgraded to 13 Mimi from an SE 1st Gen and I like my SE 1st Gen
Did you consider the SE 3 as an upgrade option? Would like to know what made you go for the 13 mini instead?
📣 *Are there any iPhone Mini users out there?*
I have a 12 mini and I actually really like it
I use i phone 13 mini. It’s awesome. And for my type of use it gives me almost 24 hrs battery backup from 80% to 20%. I feel that that is super. I am not a heavy user though. it is giving me similar battery backup as my Samsung A51 with similar usage.
14 mini gang 🙏🙏
I use 13 mini ,it’s fabulous
Do you feel like it is heating a lot? I run the antutu benchmark and without case it was getting veery hot. I wonder if i have a bad piece or if it does heat up because it is a small phone?
Almost perfect phone, hope for future models with even better battery, telephoto and lidar sensor
I disagree with you I have 2 iPhone mini 12's .. both amazing on battery! ..

iPhone 13 mini review after 30 days: I'm surprised......
Same bullshit everytime.
blue or starlight?
Apple's production is locked in for the next year so by the time they found out the 12 mini wasn't selling well it's not like they could stop the 13 mini.
How much better is it than the iPhone SE
hey I have a question, If I had a choice to get iphone 13 (128) or iphone 13 mini (256), which one should I get?
Get 13 mini both are same
This is a great point and shoot device that happens to be a Apple smartphone.
It's the first thing that succeeded my SE 2016, to me it feels large.
Will we see a 14 mini, that's the question?
Rumors are saying no, they’re gonna have two 6.1 inch iPhones (1 a pro the other a regular) and then two 6.7 inch iPhones (1 a pro the other a regular)
I luv mini ❤❤❤❤
@@edr313 Thanks bro!
Where did you find your pink wallpaper???
Is it worth upgrading from iPhone 7 plus?
The only thing that stop me from buying this smartphone is the zoom, is it bad? I don’t take so many shots , especially with zoom camera on my iPhone X , but I wouldn’t like to spend 800€ for a smartphone that gives me bad results , even in the mode that I use less
800 pounds, you’re getting ripped off unless it’s a 512gb! iPhone 13 mini will take better pictures with a notable difference between the two so you should be fine
I think Steve Jobs would love the design on this iPhone more compact size
Ever since I got the 13 mini I see people at the grocery stores or other random places with these big phones and I’m like what the heck lol to each their own. I love it fits perfectly in my jean pocket. And it basically does all i need it for talk and text.
Should i upgrade from my iPhone 11 if the iPhone 13 Mini is the last mini? Bc I really want a smaller phone and Apple is my only choice :)
Hell yes. The 11 is pretty heavy

Is this worth upgrading to a mini from an iPhone X?
From x to 13 mini? Heck yes
Which racer game is that?
Hi, 13 Mini is great, compact & capable.
Awesome size but upcoming version not to see
I'm going from an Xperia 1 II to the 13 mini.
Why?
6.5" tall vs 5.2" tall
Literally doesn't even fit completely inside my back pocket
Upgrading every year isn't for everyone. Anyone with a 12 should wait for the 14
Do phnx cases support magsafe charging??

Do you recommend it over se2?
Absolutely 100%. I don’t really feel like the SE 2 is worth buying anymore.
@@TechDaily hey bud appreciate your replay. but if I already own se2, do you still recommend upgrading to the mini?
Plus, there’s something really nice about have the Touch ID and home button. Up to you, but amidst everyone on the internet probably telling you to upgrade, as someone who actually has, I’d say save your $700 for something better and wait another year or two for a better upgrade option.
