I have been waited for the smaller phone since years then finally replaced my iPhone XS by 13 mini. Its best phone i had ever, 5.4" is still big enough screen to write emails, posts on socials and watching YT videos or gaming. No more larger phone ever if possible. It lays in pocket perfectly no matter you're in work or on sport activities like running or biking, and completely no issues with battery working time - one day of very active up to two days when i am not using phone a lot.
Everybody complains about battery life. All u need is a MagSafe power bank. I love the mini and can’t see myself going back to the bigger size phones. Great video brother ✌🏿
Just got a 13 mini myself. Coming from an X this is much handier. Using Camera + for my very effective closeup needs. It tucks away in pockets and my gear much easier. All in all comparing to the Pro series this is much better for on the move and day to day use. The much lighter weight is also a big plus.
I think those +8h Screen On Time includes the hours before the overnight charge. For real usage you have to manually add each of those bars and divide the total minutes of SoT by 60 to get the real SoT starting from 6AM.
Very useful video, i loved how you really explained the pros and cons of this phone. I think for mildly busy people this phone would be perfect, for example I don’t use my phone to much during school and usually have 30% - 40% after school, and while i do homework i charge my phone and it lasts all day. Good overall phone and good overall video!

13 mini is a brilliant phone. I can easily get a full day out of it. With taking about 10 to 15 pics and streaming Spotify at work and taking a video to two. I leave at 8am and can make it to 9pm before it’s under 10% But for a RUclipsr who lives on their phone, filming in 4K constantly and taking many pics of course it wasn’t going to last not to mention on 5G the whole time
hey shevon, I’m honestly not even here for the iPhone I’m just watching your daily stuff u do it’s really enjoyable I would like to see you upload more videos like this maybe vlogs twice a week 🙃
I just hope that in like 2-3 years we will be having great comeback of mini versions. I would love to have smartfone with small size and battery like the ip14 or ip15.
I think the battery is good enough for a full day, note that he is recording a lot (very battery intensive) also, i don’t use my phone much during working hours, so i guess i could have full battery day, not like my 11 pro which basically always makes it easy by sleep time. On the upside you get a comfortable phone, one hand operation, and you forgrt you have the phone in your pocket, you will only notice it if you need it, instead of a big slab begging to be picked up to be used.
I’m impressed with the mini battery considering everything you did with it for 12 hours. I think its a solid phone with 12 hours of everyday battery use. Tempting phone. I need to go to Best Buy or somewhere and see it in person. Thanks for the video…
I've had my 13 mini for a week and I absolutely love it. I bought Product Red and it's stunning with the clear magsafe case. I don't want to go back to a large phone again.
I’m so pleased to hear how happy you are. The reviews seem very positive. I had an I phone 7 plus which was fantastic but I eventually went to an SE 2020. It too has been amazing. @@bar10ml44 Thanks for the comment. I think you will find the swipe method to be easy. A good idea would be to watch a couple of RUclips tutorials on the basic functions of the phone. That's what I did. I hope you like the Mini. What colour did you order?
@@charlegoodwin982 Yes certainly. I still really love the phone, but if I am totally honest, I'm sometimes a bit disappointed with the battery life. That said, it might be because I have too many things running in the background. I need to study up on some battery saving tips. For example, my old Nokia 7 Plus can sit idle for almost a week. If I leave my 13 mini unplugged overnight, usually it's about dead in the morning. I might have a faulty battery? I'll see if I can get a battery test on the phone. The battery life is obviously one of the most important things about a phone, so this is a big one...but the size, feel, color and operation of the phone is great and I am really enjoying my move to Apple from Android. I think the biggest selling point about the mini, is the size. It is such a pleasure to deal with a small phone that slips easily into pockets. I still have the same opinion that after using loads of large phones such as Samsung notes etc, I prefer the small phone. The only thing that gets me thinking about a larger phone is the prospect of working away from home a lot, because rather than carrying an Ipad or Laptop, I would just use a Pro Max and watch Apple TV on it and surf the web on it in the evenings. That would be more tricky with the Mini, but since I'm at home a lot, I have access to a PC at home. I actually have a possible 8 month contract coming up, working away from home Mon to Fri. I'll see how I go with the Mini, but I'm open to swapping it for a Pro Max if I'm spending loads of time remotely. The extra batter will really make a difference. So my last bit of advice for those who really love the small phone, is to just go right ahead and buy it, but if you are away from home, you could use the magsafe battery that sticks to the back...or a non Apple one that also has magsafe, but a higher capacity. That's another option for me. Hope this helps.
I really like the fact that on Canoopsy's vid he had your video playing, whereas you also have his playing here, my favorite content creators showing love and support for each other, mad respect 👊👊
that guy in the tesla really compared the iphone 5 screen size to the iphone 13 mini, dude iphone 5 is like 4 inch vs the 13 mini 5.4 inches crazy times we live in
When you go to the battery section in the settings it will show you screen-on-time for the last 24 hours. So if you want to see how long your battery actually lasted, go to the screen time in the settings and click on DAY, and then you will see how many hours of screen time you got today.

12 Mini user here.. Since I own an iPad 8th Gen, there's barely anything wrong with the Mini for just a casual use, at least for me.. Coming from a medium-sized Android phone, the Mini's battery is fine for me thanks to the A14 Bionic processor chip.
I already got one it's perfect for me because I like small thing and it is easy to put it in pocket, for battery life it is fine for me because I don't spend much time on social media I just used it for work and study.
after 2 years of ownership with the 13 mini, the battery life got REALLY bad, couldn’t even get through really a half day without it dipping below or at 20%. Bought it brand new so take that as you will with 13 mini battery life
The Iphone 13 Mini is the phone for me. Probably the best phone I’ve had in awhile. It’s refreshing and fun. I would prefer to see smaller devices in the long run. Having to carry less weight is essential. Plus, having stuffed pockets while walking around may not be the best idea. Hope Apple will continue with the mini form factor, as an alternative for us who want to have a break from all these gargantuan phones. Sadly, This 13 mini will be the last of the breed. Shame on Apple for ending the Mini series. If Apple still want to continue with the mini, I think Apple should update the mini lineup every 2/3years.
I have the same phone and my battery lasts me all day, what I would recommend personally to put it on low power mode as soon as you wake up! It keeps apps from running in the background, it doesn’t update apps in the background, etc.
Damnn thankyou so much I recently bought an iphone 13 and i wanted someone to like show me how good the camera is and you literally took the best of camera shots out there like thank you so much man
my screen on time is around 4-5 hours a day in average, i think i will go for the mini this year to upgrade from my galaxy note 10. my last iphone was iphone 5s and I really miss the small form factor :)
This thing easily is matching my old 11 pro and beating my 12 in battery life. I say it’s a great upgrade. I also get battery cases for my iPhones so I should be fine with this little baby. I think I’ll name her Tanya (I always name my iPhones)
Just ordered my 13 mini. Every phone has its pros and cons. Battery life is the compromise you make for the features and convenience. I went from the iPhone 5 to the original SE because I really didn’t want a larger phone. And while I do enjoy the screen size of the iPhone XR, I find it clumsy when trying to take pics, because I need to use two hands. I’m probably going to be using the 13 mini for the the next four years… probably until it becomes the new iPhone SE.
honestly imagine if they properly optimised it and gave it a big battery. that would be perfect. good small phone that can do what other phones do take some normal photos and have a good processor and normal tasks but not for professional use. but with the battery of a pro max or something. i would genuinely purchase that because i use my phone a lot and need a good battery which is why i like the pro max but i would swap if the mini had a better battery tbh
Im rocking 12 mini, I'm not addicted to social media and I play games on my desktop. I try to live in the present and the battery runs me all day no problem. I do watch yt a lot and texting.
Great video thanks for posting this. It’s informative. I think the 13 mini is a great phone with nice improvements to battery life. But as you say in your own comment it’s not meant for someone like yourself. The mini is for someone who wants that same power but doesn’t need to use their phone all the time. But for someone who’s a heavy user as yourself, the bigger ones are for you. But super informative video thank you!
Nice video. I'm still using an iPhone 11. I'm a very heavy user and plan to upgrade to next year's iPhones but the 13 lineup looks really enticing. My 11 is only 2 years old so I'll continue to use it until next year's lineup releases Just some general information about my "heavy use" as described above. I play a mobile game which I could spend hours on in a day dependent on work and college. I have a feature which plays the game itself. This means I leave the phone on all night playing the game while charging it. After 2 years I'm at 76% battery health and I get about 2-3 hours of screen on time. I don't mind as I plug my phone into my portable charger when I'm not using it. I also charge it when I'm driving or studying. The battery rarely becomes a nuisance for me. The reason why I bought an 11 was because the 720p screen leads to great game performance even 2 years later it's still pretty solid. When I upgrade I'd hope to be able to continue to use my 11 for that game, mostly because burn in on oleds is such a massive issue for a user like me. I would destroy an oled screen in 5-6 months if I continuously played that game on it. I love my 11 but having a 720p screen on a smartphone in 2021 is definitely starting to stick out especially compared to my friend's newer androids and iPhones. And I would for sure love an oled for everything else I use my phone for, youtube, Crunchyroll etc
8 hours of screen on time is amazing battery life, it's just since you're an extremely heavy user the battery life isn't good for you. But for the average use that uses their phone less intensively I think the battery will be plenty good enough.
I was kind of thinking that this whole time… I don’t think taking several different 4K videos, or using the camera so extensively in general on your way to work is “normal” usage.
Great vid man! Here's an android user thinking on change to iphone, looking for reviews and day to day experience and your video helped me alot! Keep doing it man, appreciate it.
For an average user, the iPhone 13 mini will work well without doubt. Light social medias, picture, calls etc. I’m buying one myself and I’m always gonna keep a powerbank with me for emergencies. :)
I have the 13 mini and I love it! The battery was never an issue for me, because I always have it plugged in. In the car, at work on a battery pack, at home in the wall charger ect. Just always been a habit for me. Charge when I can. Even when I had the iPhone X. Which has excellent battery life. Ok bye.
I was really debating between the 12, the 13 and the 13 mini. I ended up with the regular white 13. I love it so far. Battery life is great. I can kill it in about 1 and a half days. Sometimes 2. I had the xs before this, and that was a great phone too. But it started lagging, and I knew that I needed to Get an upgrade. I got $200 off for it tho.I use it mainly with the brown (orange) leather case and a $5 magsafe wallet from 5 bellow. I use a clear case sometimes too. The new thing that I don't really like is the non removable Sim. It's a built in sim. So I can't just put it in another phone if I desire. Besides that, it's great.
I have been a small screen phone user for the last 3 years, currently using 12 mini and lack of battery life is exactly what I want, so personally mini works for me. Also, I agree there are some times when you need extra. Just carry your charger in your backpack instead of carrying big phones in your pocket.

Shevon: I’m disappointed in my Mini because it only gets 8 1/2 hours of screen on time. Me: Runs to store to buy to iPhone 13 Mini. Seriously. These reviewers use their phones an insane amount of time. A few hours is all I honestly need. Thanks for this review.
The fact that it is giving u more than 8hrs of screen time is a judgment in itself! Great 👍
I have been waited for the smaller phone since years then finally replaced my iPhone XS by 13 mini.
Hope you like your new phone
Everybody complains about battery life. All u need is a MagSafe power bank. I love the mini and can’t see myself going back to the bigger size phones. Great video brother ✌🏿
The whole point of the mini is the size….. “fixing” a problem by making it bigger isn’t a fix lol
@@carlosh9476 so true I would take a decrease in battery any day than go back to a big phone. That’s what my iPad Pro M1 is for 😉
Mini just seems too small for me, reading stuff on it would probably make me sick lol
Exactly, for the size, adding a MagSafe power bank won’t even be noticeable
@@carlosh9476 they should make it thicker gor battery not bigger.
12 was advertised as slimmest phone. This isn't 2015 when people need slim phones.
Just got a 13 mini myself. Coming from an X this is much handier. Using Camera + for my very effective closeup needs. It tucks away in pockets and my gear much easier. All in all comparing to the Pro series this is much better for on the move and day to day use. The much lighter weight is also a big plus.
The lack of weight sold me, love it.
I think those +8h Screen On Time includes the hours before the overnight charge. For real usage you have to manually add each of those bars and divide the total minutes of SoT by 60 to get the real SoT starting from 6AM.
Exactly, it's last 24h, not since charging.
I went to store to check on mini. It's not that small it's perfect size and I love it. I thought of buying iPhone 12 but now I changed my mind! Great video bro..! I guess the battery life is much improved from last mini for sure.
That’s true I pushed it to the limit and it surprised me
Which phone ur using now 🤔
@@Navinkumar-jn1rq yeah mate im so rich i decided to swap my $1200 iphone for another phone😅🤣. Jk of course.
I have the iPhone 13 mini and honestly loved it. I get around 8hrs Screen on time. It’s one handed usability is the best and coming from a 12 pro max it’s not bad at all. Great video man. Love the style, the vibes, as well as your honest opinions. Keep up the good work. All the way from Texas
I watched the pro day in a life… both videos inspired me to be more productive brother. Bless up.
13 mini is a brilliant phone. I can easily get a full day out of it. With taking about 10 to 15 pics and streaming Spotify at work and taking a video to two. I leave at 8am and can make it to 9pm before it’s under 10%
But for a RUclipsr who lives on their phone, filming in 4K constantly and taking many pics of course it wasn’t going to last not to mention on 5G the whole time
hey shevon, I’m honestly not even here for the iPhone I’m just watching your daily stuff u do it’s really enjoyable I would like to see you upload more videos like this maybe vlogs twice a week 🙃
One of the perfect compact mobile with satisfying battery life and better software.
“Just doing normal shit.”
Hahah yes dude!
I’m glad to see you’ve grown steadily and broke 100k. Keep it up my guy!
This is such a cute phone. Small handy phone, not bulky which looks like real cell phone and not an oversized phones
Tomorrow my new I phone mini arrives and I am not sure how I will go learning the swipe gestures. I’m so used to the home button. I’m old and not good with tech. Worst case is I send it back.
Cheers from London
@@bar10ml44 Thanks for the comment. I think you will find the swipe method to be easy. A good idea would be to watch a couple of RUclips tutorials on the basic functions of the phone. That's what I did. I hope you like the Mini. What colour did you order?
Can we have an update? What’s it like now?
Yeah, good looking not good using. No, please
If someone is struggling with the battery then here are a few tips: turn off 5g, use it in dark mode, don't use the phone at max brightness
I just upgraded from a 4s to a 12 mini, no complaints! I love it. Then again my standards would be lower with never owning crazy nice phones.
holy shit thats a crazy jump! nice choice 👍🏽
I loved the 4S! It was the best design! But how could you use it up until now? Software support for that phone must have stopped years ago!?! Congrats to your mini though, got mine in red and 256GB yesterday. ☺️
@@noxnext Right on! Ya it was a pain, I'm 17, have a job but couldn't quite justify the purchase until a week ago. Forgot how awesome it is not waiting for the camera or notes to load!

12 Mini user here.. Since I own an iPad 8th Gen, there's barely anything wrong with the Mini for just a casual use, at least for me.. Coming from a medium-sized Android phone, the Mini's battery is fine for me thanks to the A14 Bionic processor chip.

I recommend watching some of his old videos they are awesome
I already got one it's perfect for me because I like small thing and it is easy to put it in pocket, for battery life it is fine for me because I don't spend much time on social media I just used it for work and study.
On screen 8 hr, just get a MagSafe to get the extra battery required. My thoughts the mini is great for most people. Nice vid.
Exactly…..the battery ‘problem’ he has is so easily solved..not sure why he’s making such a big issue of it
What is magsafe
after 2 years of ownership with the 13 mini, the battery life got REALLY bad, couldn’t even get through really a half day without it dipping below or at 20%. Bought it brand new so take that as you will with 13 mini battery life
Replace the battery with a new, original one through authorized Apple maintenance centers and enjoy two years in the future
Ilove your Gshock GA s2100 casioak in metal casing😍
Your content is legit and a masterpiece my guy! Hopefully one day I take a trip to Canada and meet! Respect fam! Keep it up and keep grinding!
The quality is so good from the front camera, The mic is crisp too
I have the same phone and my battery lasts me all day, what I would recommend personally to put it on low power mode as soon as you wake up! It keeps apps from running in the background, it doesn’t update apps in the background, etc.

my screen on time is around 4-5 hours a day in average, i think i will go for the mini this year to upgrade from my galaxy note 10. my last iphone was iphone 5s and I really miss the small form factor :)
Shevon, the thing is that you use a lot of social media, and the battery life doesn't last long
This thing easily is matching my old 11 pro and beating my 12 in battery life. I say it’s a great upgrade. I also get battery cases for my iPhones so I should be fine with this little baby. I think I’ll name her Tanya (I always name my iPhones)
Best review of iphone 13 mini so far! Real and raw. Thanks! I'm sold! 💯😄😊
the galaxy fold can't even get half the screen on time. I think the mini with 8hrs with SOT is pretty great for such a small form factor
The fact that this man is a content creator and STILL got 8 hours!?!
Yo, this is good enough for 99.5% of people
Just ordered my 13 mini.
Do you get more than 6hrs with your 5G?
6:58 macbook name,year,size? Please
honestly imagine if they properly optimised it and gave it a big battery. that would be perfect. good small phone that can do what other phones do take some normal photos and have a good processor and normal tasks but not for professional use. but with the battery of a pro max or something. i would genuinely purchase that because i use my phone a lot and need a good battery which is why i like the pro max but i would swap if the mini had a better battery tbh
Great video... real world example of daily usage, battery life, and quality! Thanks for creating this super helpful piece of content!
7-8 hours SOT more than enough for me..thanks,great video!
34% left after 8hrs of heavy use is damn good! Lol I love the 13 mini just copped one two weeks ago ☺️

High quality video bro, I’m brazilian and I always watch your videos. Straight up ⬆️
Nice video. I'm still using an iPhone 11. I'm a very heavy user and plan to upgrade to next year's iPhones but the 13 lineup looks really enticing. My 11 is only 2 years old so I'll continue to use it until next year's lineup releases
Just some general information about my "heavy use" as described above.
Your video is a real test and in real time. Nice shots ! thanks for your great one !! :)
I love my 13 mini
Your videos are so therapeutic. God bless you man❤️
Me watching this on the iPhone 13 mini
Great music choices in your videos bro! Keep it up! 👍🏾
That’s so true I feel like average users will make it through the day
Your day in the life videos are the greatest!!❤
It would be great if Apple make the smallest variant with a 5.8" screen, a pro with 6.1" and a pro max the largest.
Great vid man! Here's an android user thinking on change to iphone, looking for reviews and day to day experience and your video helped me alot! Keep doing it man, appreciate it.
Cara, esse vídeo é maravilhoso! Já assisti ele mil vezes e contando. 😎🇧🇷
haha, same
For an average user, the iPhone 13 mini will work well without doubt.
Ok bye.
Thats a good way to destroy the batterylife.
The best review ever made! Respect from ROMANIA!
His voice is so calming
The battery life in this many is pretty impressive, this phone is one of the most small and lightweight. It’s more impressive than big phone heavy with less of 15 hours
