I currently have a 256GB 13 mini. I’ve upgraded every year since the 4S but after the improvements made from the 12 mini to the 13 mini (battery, display, camera), I’m contemplating not just skipping this year’s iPhone, but also trading this one in and grabbing a 512 before apple discontinues them. This phone paired with an iPad mini 6 and soon an M2 MacBook Air, I’ve never been happier with such a compact yet more than functional iPhone. The iPhone 13 mini is indeed underrated.

I have a 13 mini and I absolutely love it. It was an upgrade over my iPhone 7. I find bigger iPhones to be unappealing because of the weight and uncomfortable need for 2 hands. Even after the iPhone 14 being announced, I love my mini and I’m mad at apple for abandoning them.

I think alot of people cast these smaller blowers aside because of the smaller screen, don't get me wrong, I love my big screen android phones, But the form factor and one handed operation of these smaller phones are brilliant, I like to lay on my side sometimes and surf in the sack, and trying that with my pixel 6 or op7 pro is next to impossible, But tremendous on these smaller phones, used to love my little se 1st gen in gold, I've just ordered a 13 mini in blue.

I used 13 pro for about 5-6 months then switched to 13 mini and it only took me few hours to get used to 60hz display. I really don't miss out anything from 13 pro now and I always loved the mini size because it's not really "mini" as people think, it's the perfect sized phone in this day and age where phones are turning to tablet size and tablets are turning into laptop sizes and phones are no longer phones now. I don't use pro camera as I like what's available in 13 mini anyway. It just works! I frigggin love my 13 mini!

My XS broke last monday, so i bought a 13 mini and have used it a week now. And I have to say: I think I was never so happy with a phone. It has a ton of power, battery life is ok (still better, than on my old phone), a really good camera and nice features like faceID with Masks. But the very best part is: it is so extremely handy. I can do everything with just one hand, it fits easily in my front pockets and I can reach everything with just one hand (that is something you really appreciate, once you have it). I'm so happy about it and would recommend it to literally for everyone, except for people who need a really good battery life

13 Mini was the best tech purchase ive made in the last decade. As a male, I hated the weight in my pants with the pro max model. Also considering theres no way to run two apps at once on iphone I felt like the big screen was pointless aside from GPS. Battery life easily gets me through the day comfortably and I live in a city with 5G data. Also got me off being a screen slave because the screen size was uncomfortable over long periods. Still watch videos and am on social media but not for nearly as long. Made my phone much more of a practical device.

Unfortunately, iPhone 12 Mini had destroyed the reputation of "Mini" mainly due to the short battery life. I just got the 13 Mini 256GB a month ago to replace the iPhone 12 Pro mainly due to the discomfort of the size and weight. The iPhone 13 Mini's viewable screen size is only 0.1" smaller but with OLED and much brighter than the biggest screen iPhone 8 Plus (LED) just a few years ago so I am not sure why screen size would even be an issue. I hope Apple will give us the new iPhone SE as well as new iPhone Mini Pro in the future. A iPhone Mini Pro, I will buy that in a heartbeat as I do miss the telephoto lens, Pro-Rez and the assistance of Lidar in difficult lighting conditions.

Very disappointed to hear that they're likely to abandon flagship minis! I want a Pro mini! I currently have an 11pro, the smallest of the 11 series, and no plans to get a new phone anytime soon. If the 13 minis had as many lenses as the "pro" phones I'd be tempted to go ahead and get one to encourage them to make smaller phones.

@@vikram_shahi I'd pay as much for it as for a bigger one. Used to be the smaller and lighter a mobile phone the more expensive. Compared to my previous iphone, my current iphone feels like a giant lead brick. It won't stay in the pockets of most "women's" clothes, and I can't use it with one hand, even though it was the smallest (but not the cheapest) new iphone available when I had to replace my old one.
I can't believe i'm the only person in the world who wants the best possible camera in the smallest lightest phone and is willing to pay for it. Not saying you're wrong that they won't make it, unfortunately that seems true for the foreseeable future, I just don't see why it would have to be bad for business. People have flipped from expecting the smallest phones to be the most expensive to expecting them to be the cheapest because the manufacturers have taught us to. Apple could flip it back.
Really though I want a folding phone with a top level camera.

Absolutely love the 13 mini and have had it since release. It’s fatal flaw however is battery life. It was great when I originally got the phone and would easily last an entire 20 hour day without the need of a charge. Now however I can’t get it to last 8 hours (even with battery saver on) with the no change in my use case. This has made the phone very inconvenient when traveling as I am constantly looking for a charger to make sure it doesn’t die.
They should of kept the mini line up and made it pro. Make it a little thicker too to get the much needed battery. Don’t care about cost but love the form factor.

I couldn't agree more, the original SE was an awesome phone but it was just that little bit to small for practical typing and internet use so the 13 mini is right in the sweet spot for size for someone like myself who simply hates the big phone only era we live in nowadays. I think smart phones are a suckers game after a lot of bad experiences and just bought cheaper options but the first time I held the 13 mini I immediately wanted one, dam you Apple, Im hooked bad and might find my self paying the ridiculous price for one.

I took it to a apple service centre and the lady agreed the sound is problematic but told me nothing can be done because the diagnostic tool didn’t report anything. She said it’s probably a software issue and I’ll need to wait for a software update (if it ever gets released).

I'm a life long flagship andriod user that was really interested in the iPhone 13 mini. I fell in love with my small form factor Samsung s10e and when I upgraded from that phone, I tried out a iPhone 13 pro at launch due to them not having my preferred color in the mini available from my carrier.I kept the iPhone for about a month before I became disenchanted and switching back to andriod with the pixel 6 and while I am satisfied, I still want a smaller phone and am willing to give ios another try as I am impressed with the advancements ios16 is bringing. I'm thinking of selling my pixel and snagging a iPhone 13 mini
