    Todays puzzle solution is qd7 if bishop d7 , ra1 is checkmate in 2 moves . and if plays any random move qe8 is checkmate. If black trys to escape by pushing any of his pawn , then that is checkmate in 2 moves

    Qd7 - Threatening checkmate in multiple ways. Depending on the moves of the opponent that could be either Qe8++ or incase opponent moves a pawn to get away with the king you get Qxf7+ followed by Qxg7++. Bxd7 ends in checkmate after Ra8+ .

    I've watched many Igor videos and I think I have grown a lot as a chess player. I was able to spot a lot of these sacrifices to win the game. Great content keep it coming.

    In the last example I did not see Ph3, which is certainly the best, but Dc2 threteaning Dh7 mate. And if black plays Pf2+, white can answer it with Dxf2 having similar pattern like in the real game. Of course black can play differently, not Pf2+, but still.... :)

    What did he mean by "the Michael Jackson move" at 11:58?

    • @deepalidharmadhikari58
      @deepalidharmadhikari58 13 часов назад +1

      Michael Jackson was black but later changed his skin colour to white. So when the black pawn killed the black rook,it changed into a white rook after promotion,hence the rook changed from black to white,like Michael Jackson.

    Qd7! if Bxd7 Ra8+ leads to Checkmate after the Queen and Bishop block. If doesn't take QxBc8 is mate unless a pan is moved in which case Queen attacks on the 7th rank gobbling up pawns while giving Checks until the king runs out of runway and the last Check is Checkmate.

    Sorry to my previous comment, now I see the back rank problem of WHITE after Dxf2... But White could possibly play Kf1 instead of Dxf2. But the game continuation Ph3 is by far better, no question about it.
