    The depth of your reviews and Tommy's insights I will always give a ton of weight to opposed to other reviewers. You have such a great ability to draw out specifics from Tommy.

      @@HockeyTutorialOfficial totally agree - the equipment now is so high-tech, so nuanced… it’s nigh impossible to choose without some expert help. On which note, must say also that I just picked up an FT6 Pro (p28 (: ) largely based on Tommy’s reaction in an earlier vid, and what I know of him from many other vids. Not disappointed, haha. Cheers again.

    Like other people have said, I would like to see more reviews on the cheaper sticks. By cheaper, I mean the lowest level CCM FT or the Bauer Nexus. I know they won't perform as well as the higher end sticks. However, it would be nice to see something reviewed that I would actually consider buying. For example, is the FT660 or FT670 worth considering at all or are they garbage? Is the FT6 worth $110 more than the FT670? These are the types of questions I am hoping to get answers to. Thanks.

    I was just watching the “Best mid & hybrid stick” video from 6 months ago, where the Catalyst PX came out on top. In that video the Catalyst PX was praised for being a great stick in all respects, but now the Catalyst PX is being called clunky, heavy and hard to shoot. Why the change?

    • @HockeyTutorialOfficial
      @HockeyTutorialOfficial  10 месяцев назад +4

      Happy to explain, that’s because this review was based on the PX vs 9x3. So the feedback is against the new Catalysts vs the old. It felt harder to shoot with and clunky against the new 9x3. Hope this clears that up

      yea i owned a PX and liked it, i’m not sure how they’re changing their minds that much in a year.
      Maybe it’s just that new gen sticks destroy the ones from couple of years ago?

    Cracks me up to see all of the broken stick trolls in the comments. Most of who have never used a True stick. I play with plenty of people who use True sticks, including my son, and have never broken one. I don’t use one myself, I use warrior covert and Sherwood. But really guys, some of you sound ridiculous.

    According to a range of other reviews, the 9X3 is extremely fragile; guys, don't make buying decisions on reviews that doesn't put the sticks to the test .. an hour on the ice is enough to decide on feel etc. but doesn't provide any trustworthy data on durability, which is a quite important factor for most rec hockey players.

    • @HockeyTutorialOfficial
      @HockeyTutorialOfficial  10 месяцев назад +10

      Did you actually watch the full review? This stick was used in training, open scrimmages and at Tommy club over weeks. Not over an hour. We actually filmed 3 videos for this stick and decided to combine them into 1 video. Watch the full video and ask questions. Please don’t assume.
      Durability is something we will address in a separate video looking at all of the major brands.

    • @ThomasKrulikowski
      @ThomasKrulikowski 10 месяцев назад

      @@HockeyTutorialOfficial if this video is cut of mutliple ice slots and scrimmages/games. 1) make it more visually obvious. talk about it. 2) durability 100% should be mentioned if using it that much!!
      p. s. will kill for any passing review. Maybe just gliding around the slot doesnt do that.

    • @andersborum9267
      @andersborum9267 10 месяцев назад

      @@HockeyTutorialOfficialobviously watched the review and went over it again today, just to be sure I didn't miss anything. I wasn't hating on your content but simply pointing out that durability is an important aspect for most rec hockey players, especially if going for the high end sticks. As mentioned in the original comment, there are a s.. ton of comments from players breaking the 9X3 because of resin issues around the area of the hosel, meaning it's likely not a fluke; it's just an interesting fact that the reviews here rarely touch on long term durability. (can't remember but have you ever broken a stick during a review?)
      I'm personally going with the FT6 Pro sticks as a replacement for the FT5 Pro, which still is a great stick and highly recommended.
      Suggestion: what about a video on minor accessories like wax for instance and other stuff, I'm sure it's an interesting topic for quite a lot of players.

  • @systhem1381

    How can you say that the 9x3 is a brand new super durable stick!? It is the same 2 piece construction, and it brakes on the same place.There are videos here on youtube that proves the opposite of that. It is a poorly manufactured piece of trash that brakes after 1 game and a few slapshots... If you keep doing these kind of "reviews" you will lose all your credibility. And when you say that it is like the FT6PRO :))))))))))))))))) it is night and day, dont lead people into buying this superweak stick...All the best to you!

    • @andersborum9267
      @andersborum9267 10 месяцев назад

      According to Chris' comment previously, the stick was used in training, open scrimmages and at Tommy club over weeks. But agree, there are more and more players hating on the stick because of it's durability, not it's performance .. while it lasts.

      @@andersborum9267 lol you believe that? they did a skate "review" where they said he used them for half a season and the skates looked brand new, the guy plays for a pro club, it's impossible to keep skates that clean for that long. It so happened to be True product as well so I guess it make sense why they needed to give it glowing "review.

      I understand top of the line sticks are made for performance and not durability but there’s way too many videos from people breaking these sticks 1 game in. I’m liking this channel less and less because it’s obvious they’re on the take from True 😢
