I watch all your stick review videos and I like the intro to the video of you performing some stick handling and moves. However, since you are reviewing how sticks perform, there are WAY too many shots through your legs. 1 or 2 are great, but after that it doesn't show me anything about the stick or how the puck looks off the blade. Its just a fancy move that gets old fast. I would LOVE to see more hard shots from different places in the zone, aiming low, mid, high and shots from different body positions.
Honestly im forwarding to where they talk about the sticks and the specs. Ive seen the same moves in every stick review. Doesnt give me any insight into the stick really. Still love the videos thought, not trying to hate !
My condolences go to the British Ice Hockey. What tragedy, this foul by Matt Patgrave was already spoken about here near Zürich today with other U13 parents and Hockey fans. RIP Adam Johnson.
It was accidental he got hip checked and his leg pivoted upwards its happened before really tragic but still Petgrave has gotten death threats for something he almost had no control over, sure he was a dirty player but no one would try to cut someones neck
amazing Video as always! I’d love to see a comparison of more affordable sticks for everyone. Something like a Jetspeed FT670 vs Jetspeed 6 (non pro) for the average player to see what kind of difference it makes etc.
Tommy, awesome video as always. I’m about your size and I’ve recently found that P28 is the curve that gives me the best game. I had myself convinced that I was a mid kick guy, but the Trigger 8 has me drawn in. My son has one and absolutely loves it. What flex do you use? What is the exact spec of the Trigger 8 you’re using. I may need to give it a try….
How about the 9x3 vs the Trigger 8. I know it’s a different kick point but you seemed to really like both a lot. Would be interesting to see the results. Thank yoy
Chris and Tommy - thanks for the amazing video! Since you noted that the Sherwood Legend was much different from the Element One, could Tommy let know at least in the comments here whether or not Element One is better (in terms of 1. release and 2. feel) than CCM Trigger 8 Pro?
I bought two bladetech sticks after watching this. It is 7 months later and I love them. Surely an amazing stick for $130. Competes with the $350 top performance sticks! I did buy a trigger 8 pro also and slightly love it a little more. It might be bias from having to pay more for it but they both perform great. I can swap them out during a period and don't notice much difference.
You’re right that wouldn’t have been fair, I would’ve said the same thing. Surprised you chose BladeTech’s Low kick tho over “Prostockhockey’s” stick with the red stripe on the back.
My guess: 1. CCM Trigger 8 2. Sherwood Rekker 3. BladeTech 4. Bauer HyperLite 2 5. True Edit: I was close, I've never touched a BladeTech, but I assumed it would be good for them to put their name on it. True has been having lots of durability issues with everything they make the last couple years so no surprises their, and I'm a Bauer hater so I always have to hate on them when I can lol
W vid. But I just got the trigger eight 30 flex and I noticed that it has no core 😢. And my trigger 7 had a core cause it was a 40 flex . And so far I hate the trigger 8 pro it’s just my shoot has not been that good but this is my opinion
Can you guys please review the PRO brand of sticks? I feel like they are really making a name for themselves and they offer tons of customization. They offer both low and mid kick options and I have seen other reviewers like them but I just want to hear what yall have to say. RIP Adam Johnson
Agreed! They're the only sticks I buy anymore, that's also because of curve availability. Bauer and Warrior are the only ones that make a curve I use at a retail level and with Bauer that's custom only. PRO has 4 or 5 curves I can happily use and still stand up to the big names
The guys in Sweden division II have some of those trigger 4s dressed trigger 8’s and they break so damn fast. Always right where the fusion point is of the blade and the shaft. Enjoy your stick bro!
1.CCM Trigger 8 Pro 2.Bauer Hyp2rLite 3.Sherwood Legend Pro 4.True Hazrdus PX 5. BT Blackout Just my guess, never was lucky enough to use any of these sticks.
My son just turned 18 And a senior in high school. He keeps breaking sticks and I’m about to go crazy form Spending so much money on sticks. He’s 6ft 200lbs. Plays wing and sometimes center. Defense once in a great while when needed. His spec is P28 curve low kick 85 or 87 flex pending on brand. I believe he’s breaking a stick every two weeks sometimes after a week. Are the slightly cheaper sticks stronger?
technically, yes. simply because there's less performance, which in return, raises the durability. however, it also depends which high-end sticks you are getting. all these low kickpoint sticks are the least durable. in the end, you shouldn't be looking at the durability, because all these sticks are built for performance. also the fact your son is using 15 flex below the recommended is also an issue. since he's big and strong, there should be no issue going a model down but, they are heavier and have less performance.
Need a video on the bladetech stick. You cant have a high preforming stick at that price range and not do a video on it. Especially since you hate my favorite stick.
Hate seeing you rate CCM this highly again and again. CCM sticks have been the least durable for me. I haven’t broken many sticks in my lifetime but I’ve had 4 CCM sticks and 3 of them broke within a month, one even on the very first slap shot. I’m a big CCM fan in terms of performance and brand/design but don’t think I’ll be buying one ever again…
Amazing video i have been waiting on it foe a while.

Yes please, more on the Sherwood Rekker Legend Pro
amazing Video as always! I’d love to see a comparison of more affordable sticks for everyone. Something like a Jetspeed FT670 vs Jetspeed 6 (non pro) for the average player to see what kind of difference it makes etc.
Can you do Rekker legend pro from Sherwood vs Rekker element one from sherwood
Are they all the same stick pattern?
can you do a review on the tmp pro and rekker legend pro?😃
How much better is the trigger 8 pro than the trigger 8 bc I really want to get one but it's a bit too much. Is the extra 100 worth it?
When can you do a review on the proto r?

What is the spec?
The Blade tech any comments on the durability?
Ribcore, hyperlite, sherwood, bladetech and px my ranking pre-video🤘🏽
What is the music in the intro?
You guys should compare sher-wood element 1 vs sher-wood legend pro!
Chris and Tommy - thanks for the amazing video! Since you noted that the Sherwood Legend was much different from the Element One, could Tommy let know at least in the comments here whether or not Element One is better (in terms of 1. release and 2. feel) than CCM Trigger 8 Pro?
Detailed video coming. Sorry to make you wait🫣

I would love to see a video on the Warrior LX2 Pro stick.
Is the durabilyty good on the bladetech stick?
Would like to know as well. Doesn't come with a warranty.
Can we see a warrior lx2 and warrior super novium vs? Or just reviews
You’re right that wouldn’t have been fair, I would’ve said the same thing. Surprised you chose BladeTech’s Low kick tho over “Prostockhockey’s” stick with the red stripe on the back.
Is that Sherwood legend the pro?
In my opinion its
1: trigger 8 pro
2: sherwood rekker legend pro
3:hzrdus px
4:hyperlite 2
5: bladetech
I am waiting for when you try Bauer Proto R stick :D
blade tech video?
I just got the Rekker pro and it honestly has the best shot I've ever experienced.
My guess:
1. CCM Trigger 8
2. Sherwood Rekker
3. BladeTech
4. Bauer HyperLite 2
5. True
Edit: I was close, I've never touched a BladeTech, but I assumed it would be good for them to put their name on it. The protor versus the FT goes.
If you can ever find it in your specs, definitely interested in Warrior Covert QR5 pro vs Trigger 8
Can you do mid kick point

2.Bauer Hyp2rLite
3.Sherwood Legend Pro
4.True Hazrdus PX
5. BT Blackout
Just my guess, never was lucky enough to use any of these sticks.
Sherwood please 🙂
I like the channel, and I'm not even saying that they make "bad" sticks.. But Ranking the blade tech #2 is major cap LOL....
Clearly a paid endorsement
I also buy my sticks brand new from play it again sports cause I get multiple sticks for the price of one with these expensive sticks now a days
My son just turned 18

@@christiando5609 No way that kid needs a 100 flex. We are seeing more and more pro guys starting to go with a more flexible flex (lower number).
I’m guessing he will like the CCM best before I even watch the video.
I won a free stick in a raffle.. Trigger 8 (non pro) or FT5 PRO… hard decision 😩
Trigger 8 pro 1
Hyp2rlite 2
Bladetech 3
True 4
Sherwood 5
Original guess 5. Sherwood 4. Hyper2lite 3. True 2. Bladetech
1.trigger 8 pro
True poject x vs Sherwood
I meant hzrdus
That’s the problem people keep wanting a lighter stick but when it gets lighter you sacrifice strength and durability
I think the trigger 8 pro
that BT stick is just a rebranded pro black out.
My list before watching
1. Trigger 8
2. Hyperlite 2
3. Sherwood
4. True
5. Blade tech
List in video
1. Trigger 8
2. Blade tech
3. Sherwood
4. Hyperlite 2
5. True
Where’s the true project X?
It expired
Pls ma,me video on it
Try harder to get warrior sticks. They seem to all be left out
Because warrior isn't sending them free sticks. A lot of these are given to them. Which is why the Bladetech stick is ranked so high..
This is 1-5
Dudes a CCM HOMER FAN BOY
CCM's Trigger 8 Pro is notorious for breaking after only a few hours of use. Avoid!
