High end gear reviews are cool to watch, most of us can't afford, or don't want to spend that kind of money. Reviews of the mid-level gear that us regular folks use would be great!
I also just bought my first true stick (catalyst pro) and I was shocked about how effortlessly the shot came off of it. I'll definitely be buying another in the future!
True against Sherwood would be nice
So many stick videos!
sherwood is better
@@carlobene86the px is nice idk
Great video. The content is always of a high quality and is therefore interesting to watch. Thank you for posting.
Thank you for watching Conrad !
nice TRUE stick reviews, I never see Warrior stick reviews on here only Bauer/CCM. Any chance we can start seeing some Warriors sticks up against Bauer/CCM?
I have a true catalyst 9x and I absolutely love it
Thanks for the review guys, got me to go test in the store this week. Actually tested all the leading sticks but first time trying a True. The Hazardous PX came out on top for me, however I did not take any slap shots. Both puck feel and release were fantastic, accuracy was spot on (85 Flex P28/TC4). I’ll post a link with a few shots from the first time on ice.
I will say I miss the feel of the trigger pro 5 when it was lighter, I believe they beefed it up for durability but correct me if I’m wrong. That stick is the closest I’ve felt to the PX.
Been using a trigger pro this season, and got a true x7 today for our tournament this saturday since only had 1 stick. Man its amazing, basically everything the trigger is but just lighter, and cheaper.
Thanks guys I asked for the true hzurdus and y’all delivered thanks
I have used almost all these top of the line sticks (FT5pro AS4pro sync and trigger 7 which wasn’t mine I used it for a practice) and surprisingly enough the Sherwood code tmp is still my favourite, that stick is incredibly underrated and #1 in my opinion and still $100 cheaper the competition
Totally agree! Sherwood is for sure underrated. Fantastic stick! We plan to try and help change that with 2 videos dropping later this month.
@@HockeyTutorialOfficial I have not used Sherwood for many a year but would be interested to see how they match up with the big guns today. I noticed that you guys had the range of true sick sitting at the side. it would be nice if you would spend a couple of minutes giving a brief comparison of the product range and whare the tested product fits in and what is above/below it. Not everyone needs the top of the line stuff.
Loving all these stick videos!!
Great video boys! Love seeing some new brands being introduced to the vids. Interesting that the 9x was Tommy’s pick over the top of the line px. 🤔
True Temper makes great sticks. It's not just their 2nd tier stick that is great, they all are. Try the 3rd or 4th tier. You get a little more weight, same great stick, and save a bunch of money. I like sticks around 440 grams. He's right, having more weight is better for clappers, however 440 grams is still light!
Please review those true skates Tommy’s wearing
Wdym he is wearing custom CCM Super Tacks ASV pros
test some warrior stick, alpha and the ultasonic
I thought the Trigger 7 Pro weighed 380g as opposed to the 360g mentioned at 5:37 ?
Good catch, thank you. It’s 375 officially.
Honestly not terribly shocked, besides the true being lighter the only difference I noticed was the vibration on shot. Not a bad stick, sticking with my Trigger though.
bauer nexus sync vs e5 vs e4 or the warrior novium please
You know I always enjoy watching tommy an player movement but one thing I see is how he changes things up gear wise he'll tuck the tounge is is that just feeling thing that day or what ?🤔
Can y’all review the new True Catalyst 9 skates?
Warrior lx pro
Can we please see some warrior stick reviews!? :D
How does tommy like the cat pro skates
awesome work boys
I've been so impressed with True's performance but the durability is horrendous. I've gone through double digit sticks in the last year playing college hockey
what grip do you use on your sticks?
Lemme guess, Tommy (head to toe in CCM gear) gushes about the Ribcor? 😂
Is Trigger 7 pro a durable stick?
Yes, its more durable than the the trigger 6 pro
@@phantom_yt4172definitely not my friend works at our local playitagain and he said hes never seen more warranty sticks come in broken one guy literally broke 4 in 2 weeks its an amazing stick but just like the ag5nt and hzrdous the durability sucks so if you are someone who breaks sticks a lot then i would try to stay away from it but i really recommend it its a phenomenal stick aside from that
@@phantom_yt4172but they break in the blade usually not like when taking clappers and flexing and breaking so that is good at least
i mean to be fair the “second tier” the 9x is still the same price as the trigger 7 both 340 the px is 360
Can we get a review on the true skates Tommy is wearing?
It’s coming !
And how Tommy feels about those True gloves?
True has always really excelled in their lower tier sticks. Its cause they make true one piece sticks all the way down the line
I’m not gonna watch the video I’m just gonna assume the fanboy says something about “consistency” of the px or trigger but show little to no evidence to prove it
Lol u need to add a shot speed clock for buddies shooting
true sticks break easily
so does the trigger 7 thats the breaks of being super light they have to remove it from somewhere
More curious when Tommy switched to True skates...
Just while shooting the PX, when sitting after on the boards you can see he has his tacks back on
the true hazardous is heavy
Heard True breaks way too easily. Bad for hard shots too
ya they for sure have a bad reputation for that, but since the catalyst line they are quite durable
