I don't understand the point of buying at these levels. What is the upside? They can't grow right now. The 30% year over year growth story is out the window. We are now banking on FSD working. I'll wait and continue trying FSD as new updates come out. If we are not seeing incremental improvements, FAST, I am a bear...
Ask yourself this question:
Why is every other company trying to do FSD using so much bigger sensor suite?
A: They are all just stupid and they do not know what they are doing.
B: Teslas FSD with it's current cars and current hardware is a big con and Level 5 wont happen.

Current max-pain for TSLA is $175. Next option expiry is Friday April 19; then comes the earnings call on Tuesday, April 23; and the following options expiry is Friday, April 26. You can almost guarantee $175 price by April 19. Max pain is not usually wrong. So, TSLA should go up between now and Friday. Unless, of course, we have an Israeli retaliation against Iran, in which the whole market should go down. Put writers will get taken to the cleaners, if that's the case. Well, they can't always win; can they?
For April 26 expiry, max-pain so far is also $175.

If you search for "max pain tsla april 26" you'll find websites that automate the caclulation and publish the result. Whether you attribute it to conspiracy or to arcane mechanisms, the fact is that prices have a pretty strong tendency to go to max pain by option expiry Fridays, meaning that most of the time options buyers lose, and options writers win.

As a Tesla investor, I really want robotaxi. As a potential Tesla car buyer, I couldn't give a rat's ass about a robotaxi. Perhaps that divergence is playing out among Tesla execs. For better or worse Tesla sinks or swims with Elon.

Dumbest thing I’ve ever heard, all the largest most successful companies in the world lay people off all the time so you’re 100% wrong on that front and if anything cutting people from the workforce is one of the best ways to continue a well oiled engine, just look at Meta’s turnaround if you need proof of that

If your company is cutting back job and shutting down divisions, that's the opposite of expansion. That means things aren't going well. No executive is going to report up, "This is great! We have the competition right where we want them!" Oh, and have you looked at Tesla's stock price? It's 1/3rd the value that it was in December 2021. Wanna rationalize that, too? This should be good.
