I use Coco's skill to counter all of Nemesis' debuffs, I activate Coco 5 seconds after the fight began and then I'll use Coco to immobilize her and then get Meryl's charge Made it to top 11 last month because of that
Yeah fully agree with the losing more games than you win (aka less than 50% win rate) and still climb because of the unyielding mechanic. You gain unyielding points from winning and when you have enough, they prevent you from losing stars in the event that you lose a game. I've seen a few people in my leaderboard who have subpar win rates but still manage to get Grand marshal. They just played a lot of games (I've matched against them before and they were easy) Also turn off *hit frame*. It slows down your attacks and is actually a dps loss for both pvp and pve. This is especially noticeable on Crow spam dive. I wanna add that I finished as rank 8 GM with 19 stars on Eden (Asia pacific) with 238 wins and 195 losses (55% wr) During my climb I ran into a lot of bs moments that definitely dragged my stats down. And yeah they were frustrating but I didn't let that stop me from continuing. If anyone else reading this also wants to achieve grand marshal, the key to getting there is to not give up. Do not give up in a single match. Do not give up the whole grind -if you don't care about your mental sanity-

@@Rifftic If you're familiar with other actions games like BDO or Smash bros, on some attacks, you'll notice there is this micro delay that makes attacks feel more impactful. That is hit lag or hit frames as tof likes to call it. In ToF it has no functional benefits. It just makes things look cooler lol. So it's better to turn it off if you're practical/looking for any advantage possible
I have no meryl and no nemesis, I did 2 match today and all they did was putting the totems out and hide behind, amazing gameplay, will never return to PvP. Ah yes and the lag, can't forget about the lag xD.
@@MrFirecam PvP is literally p2w if u don't have the limited char bannet and yes Nemesis takes no skill at all. Mfs just keep floating and spam healing.
shield does regen after being broken, but also regens as you heal health. its difficult to do the latter which is why its so important to keep an eye on it and only take good trades
yea right as long as you have the weapon, guess what f2ps cant have all weapons not in this game not even in genshin impact.SO just by staing that i dont see the majority of f2ps going for the apex league

What if i don't have the Meta Comps that people use in PVP? How do I even begin to approach this, especially if I'm facing a nemesis user.
i would start building a team as best as you can, but nemesis is definitely hard to go against. still possible to climb, it just takes a lot of games
I would try to pull nemesis if you can but if not, I should have a vid with off meta comps coming soon

with bad rolls it may be difficult as f2p but it is completely possible without whaling, since you only need 0 star to compete in pvp
