A Realistic 3 Day Trip as an Airline Pilot

- So excited to share this video with you all- here's a 3 day trip that includes a little bit of commuting, delays, reroutes and gives you a more realistic idea of some of the things that happen in the aviation industry. Industry wide- not everything goes as planned- and that's all a part of the territory. It's best to do the best you can, focus on the mission, go with the flow and make the most of it.

@Saramaikat can you make a video on how to become a pilot for teens . My girl is 8 years old she is crazy about becoming a pilot. How should I groom her in becoming a pilot. Which schools should I send her. Can you please make a video on how you got motivated. There is lot of info on the internet but not proper steps how to become a pilot with low cost ,schools,scholarships etc.. how early can someone become commercial pilot etc.. thank you

My home base is MDW where you learn how to land 737 series on a postage stamp. 😎 Congrats on you reaching 100k.. well deserved… Big Ern is still hovering around 50k incredibly even with his new podcast and I’m surprised he hasn’t broken the 100k flight level yet as you have.

So cool seeing you go from the Ejets to the 737 congrats, loved seeing more inflight moments like you requesting clearance.
I wonder if getting clearance requires both pilots to be present and listening. I don't know an airline that allows just one to hear it. Doesn't look like two people in the flight deck to me during this clearance lol.
So happy to see your video pop up after so long. We all missed you. Your videos are so informative as well as inspirational. You are so bright and are bringing to light a career that is not too common for females. I’m having my 11 year old granddaughter watch with me in hopes she may become interested in the profession. Girl, I love your commitment and passion for being a pilot. I have flight anxiety and every time I fly we always hit decent amounts of turbulence and be it 10 hours or even just 3 hours, it's torture for me, especially since I can't sleep... 😕 I have so much respect for the pilots who get us all there safely. I know it can get sketchy but you're the professionals and I try to thank the pilots each time I de-plane. You go girl, Captain soon, yes? Oh and you're so gorgeous 😀 Love and Safe travels!! :-))))))))

Hi Sara! I saw that you use the cooler shock ice packs. I’m a regional pilot so I carry a lot of food with me for 12 hrs days. Does they last frozen/cold enough for a lot of time?

Amazing vid as always. Curious to know how you feel as a dead header pilot versus pilot. I am a fearful flyer but I feel like a big part is not being in control. Any tips ? Also take off and landing is the times I hate the most!

I'm really surprised by how much they rerouted you on a trip like this! Hasn't happened to me at my airline (yet) but I would be so thrown off if they kept doing that. Also love that late night Spirit LAS-LAX to come in and save your life as a LA commuter lol
