It always frustrated me that they made such a scene about how he bit her but no one talked about the fact that she was literally strangling him. Mocking, humiliating, throwing someone lunch and strangling them to force them to say something to further humiliate them is alright but bitting someone in self defense is not?

the woman was blaming mr. peabody's alleged parental failures on him being a dog, she also said that while people treated him as someone (one as in a human person) accomplished and smart he would never be equal to others, all because he was a dog, but then sherman came to his defense basically saying that though he was a dog he was good to him and also others always trying to be the best not for self satisfaction but for the benefit of the rest. he ended by saying that he was proud of being his family and if mr. peabody was still just a dog after being someone that good then sherman was a dog too, as in a way of saying that if being all that makes him a dog, then call me a dog too because i'm like that too
Idk what the rest of y’all are on about, that entire part was clearly a Spartacus reference, in which ,a sort of general?(I cant really remember) attempts to get captured prisoners to hand over a singular man and fails because they all call out saying that they are the man he is looking for, so he won’t be able to tell who the real one is. Part of the takeaway is that the general did not expect anyone to defend the man in question and now has no way of knowing who the real one is, and that they held such loyalty to a single man. The main objective was to get them to turn on him and hand him over immediately so that he could be dealt with (k*lled), but it ended in failure. Which is what Grunion did here, but there’s also a whole reason as to why (research it on your own time) Spartacus(Mr.Peabody in this situation) is a threat and that’s because of what he represented rather than his existence (which in this context be that she does not see him fit to parent BECAUSE he’s a dog rather than just being a dog who happens to raise a child). I also remember that Spartacus is clearly in the film and laughs/acknowledges what sherman is trying to do in this scene, just isn’t showed in this clip.
