In all honestly, generating a completely random power, especially every day, would be disastrous. Even if you don't take into account the fucked up things people would do with them, such as mind control rape. But you'd also run the risk of generating a power thats just completely fucked up, such as that one kid in an X-men comic who's mutation was literally just constantly emitting different kinds of radiation and chemicals that basically made it so any living thing in a certain radius around him would die a horrific, painful death.
On that mind control point, a lot of writers don't seem to realise the full potential of what mind control can be used for. So often it's like used for hero v hero fights, or making the hero a double agent or their minion. Like, if you mind control the right people you could literally cause a nuclear apocalypse, or 9/11 a thousand times over, but I've basically never seen any story that realises this. And on the whole mind control someone into dating point, the amount of stories that don't realise the full horror of love spells/potions is actually insane, like for some reason it's one of the most common haha silly plots despite it literally being the magical version of date rape drugs

Some people in the POV community are really creative and come up with a lot of interesting ideas but it's really obvious when some people are just doing it for clout. “Why do we live in a dahr man story line” got me rolling😂
Honestly the plot line of the water bender stuck in the fire court sounds genuinely funny. Same with the guy who can talk to objects.
I’m pretty sure I’ve read an avatar the last airbender au fanfiction where this is the plot lol.
yeh if i could talk to objects I’d probably become a detective. Just obtain the m*rder weapon and ask it what the person who last used it look like and boom. Might write something about that
@@Fen_Fox Was it good? And if it was what’s it called? 👀
@@aarasko I'm thinking of writing a story where someone attempted to be a detective but the objects all have an attitude and an absolute pain in the ass to work with so the detective would have side quest of bribing the objects or beating them to submission
@@oo8962 OH LMAO THAT SOUNDS AWESOME
Okay wait interrogating objects is actually sick.
Talk to the weapon, or the spent bullet casing, victims clothes.
Sounds like a bollywood detective movie that I need to see.
THATS WHAT I WAS THINKING it'd be a hilarious goldmine in terms of dialogue... I just don't know how they'd realistically get the objects to show emotions unless it was an animated film
I demand a comic, manga, anime, or cartoon series about this.
It's a good concept but was executed poorly by the tiktoker
Detective: did you shoot this man?
Shooter: No.
Detective: I wasn't asking you. *looks at gun*
Gun: Yeah
I hope you enjoyed this preview of the script of "Detective who talks to objects" coming in 2026
@@daniboy4153 literally the entire object show community:
In all honestly, generating a completely random power, especially every day, would be disastrous. Even if you don't take into account the fucked up things people would do with them, such as mind control rape.
But you'd also run the risk of generating a power thats just completely fucked up, such as that one kid in an X-men comic who's mutation was literally just constantly emitting different kinds of radiation and chemicals that basically made it so any living thing in a certain radius around him would die a horrific, painful death.
that last sentence of the first paragraph had me do a double-take
I think I remember hearing about an X-Men mutant whose power was just lighting himself on fire so they had to mercy kill him
On that mind control point, a lot of writers don't seem to realise the full potential of what mind control can be used for.
The New York Yankees cap with powers brought back major Percy jackson flashbacks

One of the most interesting things to me is good ideas with bad execution (basically all of these tiktoks), which is probably why I find these sort of POVs fascinating. Honey seems like the exact thing a superhero would use in a movie that wants to take a more "realistic" look on superheroes, like where they get paid minimum wage at day and immeasurable thanks at night.
The Yankees hat thing actually come from Percy Jackson when Annabeth is gifted by Athena her mother a Yankees cap that turns her invisible when she wears it. It makes much more sense in PJO and the vids that use the hat have abuslty nothing to do with the Percy Jackson books😂
"Why do we live in a Dhar Mann story line?" cracked me up so much, this shit is gold
Some people in the POV community are really creative and come up with a lot of interesting ideas but it's really obvious when some people are just doing it for clout. One creator i think does a great job is ehmilyevans. She has a really good series about people in a theatre group and the effort she puts into these videos is great. The characters aren't one dimensional and they distinct personalities. She has a lot of range

I went to high school with Ian Boggs and when I found him in my fyp I was laughing hysterically at the fact that of all the things he could’ve done, he chose to make cringey tik tok super power POVs
That must be funny, seeing this person now.
I use to know a kid that literally thought he was a 700+ year old vampire. When he was 16 and in high school.
Had a group ov three other kids that believed him and thought they were also vampire.
Kept trying to talk me into their delusional game because I am older and have a weird unique style ov dressing.
After I rudely turned them down they threatened to attack me and kill me in my dreams with a psychic attack, which I found legitimately funny.
Been waiting for that dream to happen for the last 12 years but so far nothing.
I wonder if these kind ov people were like that when in school.
