    It makes sense only for city riding, otherwise you will need to change pedal height every time you go offroad. Also I read that lowering pedal height on heavy wheel makes it harder to turn on it, which is not so good. P.S. I also came to V14 after a lighter wheel(18 XL)

      @@Padel84287 Agreed, you wouldn’t want to be in the lowest position for off-road riding. I haven’t noticed any issues in turning or pedal clipping on city rides. In fact I found it easier to turn with the lower center of gravity. The newest version of the e-rides hanger will allow you to raise the pedal height which would be ideal for off-road riding. I would have gone with that version if it was available.

      Thanks! Ya e-rides has a disclaimer about that on their website now. They’ve also developed a more “stout” version where you can use the highest setting. Would have purchased that one if it was available haha

    Other than the scratch, that is some really nice looking hardware.
    My first EUC might be arriving tomorrow based on tracking info. I'm not keeping my hopes up because FedEx Ground in my area is a bit flaky.
    I'm already feeling buyers remorse not getting the V14. I had no interest in EUCs until two weeks ago when I saw a V14 and I thought it looked cool. The first review video I watched was Wrong Way and I was like, you can do this on a unicycle?
    So here I am watching every EUC video that I can while waiting for my KS S16 Pro to arrive.

      @@KyleKick909 I think the KingSong S16 is still a great beginner wheel. Just be aware that the suspension sliders may eventually need to be replaced after a while (and with heavy use). Wrong Way makes some great videos and is insane what he can do on the EUC. Also check out Shibby Time. Welcome to the EUC world!

    It's been great following your transition to the V14 from a tiny wheel. Great videos!
    I started on a v8f, then a s18, and now I'm on a v14. It's taking a lot of getting used to but is so fun!
    How are you finding the range on the v14 50s? I'm surprised that my daily commute gives me the same percentage as my s18 (which had half the battery capacity). Have you taken it on any longer rides yet?
    Longest I've managed was 90Km, with one charging stop (20%). It still gives you 25mph with no beeps even at 15% battery

      @@ZultanUK thanks! I haven’t gone on any super long rides yet so battery has been fine for most of my rides. I would like to get a fast charger at some point though for when I do take on the longer rides.

    Do you have any recommendations for spots to learn for a beginner in the Bay? I live in SF, and it’s tough to find a place that isn’t congested with foot traffic or exposed to cars zipping around.

      @Kev-In-Motion  3 месяца назад

      @@a_priori I feel like Golden Gate Park would be good so you can roll around on the grass in a big open area and not worry about scratching up your EUC. A local PEV group (PEVRA) set up a “Learn how to ride an EUC” spot at Crane Cove Park which is where I learned. Otherwise just try to find some empty parking lots somewhere in the City

    Doesn't make sense to send out a product that can't be used in all positions.

      @Kev-In-Motion  6 месяцев назад

      @@patrickmckowen2999 Agreed, with a caveat: At the time I purchased the e-Rides orange pedal hangers, they didn’t know that there would be issues with jumps causing damage to the hangers at the highest position. It wasn’t until a couple weeks after I got them that they must have received reports from customers about the hangers being damaged, so they updated the product description and price on the website. They could probably discount them more to be fair.

    How tf is a part like this $180? For a piece of aluminum? Probably cost e-rides under $10 to manufacture. They shouldn't be selling these for more than $30. Somebody needs to get these over to a CNC in China asap.
