It's unfair to remove "flyers" from accuracy groups, unless it is actually a bad shot since we're not testing the shooter.
Removing flyers, as is common, is an admission that the ammo is inconsistent but occasionally a couple of rounds land close together.

Nice testing! Looking forward to getting mine back out with the new barrel. Seems like these barrels open up some when they heat up. Also seem to like the heavier stuff for the most part. Hope you have a great weekend!

Thanks brother! Looking forward to seeing yours. Wonderful weekend with my wife and no kids. Right now it's our first night ever for bingo at the VFW. Hope you are having a wonderful weekend. God bless!

Great test! Awesome info. Im gonna have to get some of that AAC stuff. I've been on the fence about it but now i want some. AAC makes a Sierra Matchking bullet of their own in .223, hopefully they do it in .308 soon?? That would be fun to group. The Winchester 180gr have been all over the place in my 16" as well BUT they hit steel HARD. Boy do they thump! If you can hit something with them they are going bye bye!! 👍

Yea Winchester ball shoots decent for me. Was shooting magtech and sellier and bellot ball but that Winchester might be what I switch too.

Seller and Bellot group well for me. I have already order a pile more of the AAC. The Rifleline is also something I need to stock up on. Being those are soft points they are a great hunting round.

@drywallman1986 I generally get it from SGammo.com but I see they are all out of this 165. But.. they have other PPU 165 for under $25

Advertised velocity with those S&B .308 was above average, last time I checked. Did it feel like they were to you?

@@Nobluffbuff they feel on the higher end of things. Much like the Rifleline.

Do you work in a climate controled office texting your buddies about fantasy football all day. I get that vibe.. great video thanks for the info.

@alstongreer Thanks. I do work indoors, but I'm not really into fantasy football. I text my buddy's about firearms 😁

I started this test with my 16" and had decent groups. I will be putting a video out eventually with the 16". My 16 is had to be considered at that distance with only the 3x magnifier.

Got some freedom munitions coming. 155 grains. If it does ok I'll try 168. Alot of good reviews

    9:18 Spider says "Nope...Abort!" 😆
You give those vulture mosquitos too much credit by calling them bugs. Joking aside, this was a good test. Was that AAC 150-grain standard ball FMJ?
*Edit* Nevermind, got it...those 150g AAC FMJ performed amazing!!!

Yea, I actually started this test a week or so ago with the 16" and i did abort because of the vultures. I was very surprised how well both of the AAC ammo did. More impressed with the Rifleline. Those are pretty low cost.

@@publicdefender77 I've yet to try either of those two...heard something negative about the AAC. Can't deny how well it performed here though. I'll definitely be trying that brand now. 😁👍
