Man I must admit when you started with the soda can think I was like ‘oh god here we go’ but by the time you started at the car door I was in. Thanks for this great video
Haha, no problem!
😂😂😂😂😂😅😅😅
Tip: spray one of those shoe waterproof coatings so that it will last longer
Very good job, I was trying to fix the fabric in my van and I was using a heat gun to glued the fabric and guess what? didn't work, now I will use the spray. Thank you so much.!!!!!
Scotch Super 77 is the best spray contact adhesive. Much better than Super Tacky. But good job otherwise !
I just bought a Mazda3 a week ago and your videos are giving me so much inspiration. So far I have just put in an aux. But I love the red theme, I may end up doing some of the things you've done. Im in an apartment though so I don't have the garage to do mods in :( Anyways keep up the sweet vids I enjoy your content greatly. I want to put a spoiler and body kit on mine but I have some sort of unique white pearl paint that I probably wouldn't be able to replicate well, ugh joy kill.
Carbon fibre wrap that bumper lol, don't let the apartment stop you my friend!
How’d you put an aux in it?
You can buy an aux kit, and even bluetooth kits
Dudesk7 oooh ok I found it thanks bro
I did this mod a long time ago and didn't like and comment. I love this mod, was super easy to do and adds that customization to my interior that I was looking for. Great video, great mod!!
Thank you!! Needed this video so much! 😍
I'm glad I found your videos x.x
You spray the adhesive and wait 5 minutes until it's nearly dry and at it's height and then apply it to avoid wet spots
That’s not how that spray works. You’re supposed to spray both sides wait til they both get tacky then put it on.
famo love your vids thank you keep up the mazda3 vids on everything
Nice video bro, thanks for sharing 👍👍 I'm going to give it a try on my door panel lol
You can get the rain proof spray that’s for hats and use it on the fabric.
I wanna give this a go but am scared I’ll mess it up and not be able to get the door back on or something 😬😬😬
Trial and error my friend!
So many bubbles and wrinkles. And it’s going to get dirty within a few weeks. You’d have been better off with vinyl.
3 years later, a few bubbles and still looked good 🙂
Thank you for also including how to take off the pieces for the door
Happy to help!
Don't use "something sharp" like a knife or that big ass screwdriver though. There are proper trim removal tools available for pennies on ebay that won't scratch up your trim and/or door.
He did a ok job but id have started over and took my time
Would the glue ruin the original interior if we want to pull it off?
It'll definitely leave an unwanted texture behind.
Nice video! Thanks
4:42 Tacky Spray is what i need right now. I dont even need to change out the cloth, its just coming undone lol Thanks for the video ^_^
ai ai ai haha
Like the video I'm going to do mines blue
nice work 💯
I’m super late but nice shirt🤣
😢
It looks good but would have even looked better if you used red vinyl. Thanks for the video.
Bro,where to buy this cloth‘fiber, my car have fiber on full door.I need pleasebig piece of fiber I am still, please guide me
I have Mitsubishi carisma sedan
Awesome!👏
8:02 top left triggerd my ocd
😂
Tighten up those bubbles, do it right or not at all.
i want to do this on my smart car normally a smart car comes with one but mine didn’t how can i do it smart’s door is more complicated it has a lot of curvs
Practice and take your time!
my car has those hard plastics at the upper section of the door panel. Is it possible to replace them or put some kind of soft leather on it?
I'm sure you could do a leather
Is there a way to non-permanently install fabric while discouraging it to fall out?
Couldn't answer that one...
good vid but i almost stopped watching just because of the close up coke sip
I don't blame you lmao
I'm looking to do this to my V7 WRX. Should you remove the old door card fabric or just apply the new one over it?
Also, is suede a better material to do this with? Cheers!
Cheers!
Hmm, maybe check with the Subaru crew and see what they do with the old fabric.
I'd suggest suede, might be tougher install but it looks much better!
This guy is hilarious- great audio
Thanks a lot, this really helped me
MAN come get this thumbs up!!! lol
Dope . so far i got my dash vinyl'd blue i should do my doors like that ! Good video
Other than the Tacky Spray, could I use some other type of glue ? What would you recommend? Will gorilla glue work?
Needs to be a spray, anything heavy will seep through the fabric.
How much horsepower did that add ?? LUL
added weight so more loss than gain
im 2 years late but my project speed 3 just started whats that spray you're using?
Here's an updated video :)

@@ColtonRichter thank you I watched it too, honestly I prefer red over that violet I want to do it too now
Just put some waterproofing spray over it
DAyUmmmm
Better than spraying and safer
Is the fabric still good after this video or did u just get rid of it?
It's still in! Glue started to wear off but other than that it's still intact!
Mine is red rather and falling off. Damn all black cars and the heat melts the glue
turth
Bro ur interior coming out so nicee 💦
Thanks bb
Where did you buy your fabric? I can use any kind of fabric? Nice video 👍
Fabric store!
Really great video dude but I was wondering exactly how much cloth did you get in total? Since I got the same car. I can’t wait to do this to the whip!
Measure up, I don't remember... sorry!
@@ColtonRichter np thanks for replying!
Does this work with leather also in a 206 Peugeot
I'm sure it would :)
@@ColtonRichter I’ll give it a go on the spear panel first
Great tutorial! A thumbs up and subscribe from me! 👍😊
Prius 3rd gen?
Motivated to do my car
Imma do this to my car my Mazda is redish Burgundy so I’m hella excited ayeeee hahaha
Sick!
What happens if I try to remove the cloth again
Not sure.
Hey! I recently got a Mazda speed6 &- I have done afew cosmetic stuff to it. But was wondering if this is the same process for the door panel for a Mazda speed6?
I don't want to go ahead a say yes, there may be a totally different process considering the fabric is done totally different between 3 and 6 doors.
What’s the name of that spray ??
Tacky Spray
How long did that spray last?
Only lasted like 6 months at most haha
gonna try this on my mk4 golf
doooooo it
@@ColtonRichter thinking Im going to do the headliner too. hopefully a plaid. now for the colour
Make a video 😭 I have an mk5 gti and the panels are trash lol
Bro would you recommend any trustworthy mechanic in surrey?
Uhhh probably yourself tbh haha
That intro👌
Why am I watching a tutorial from a guy popping trim with a steak knife? Not even a baby/pocket screwdriver
cause
Lollll tru
Bravo, Good job
Yo where'd you get the fabric from?
A local fabric store, just some cheap stuff
Nice!
That top left portion of the fabric is driving me insane.
HAHA
Sound like a personal problem
Good job I'ma do this
Thx for sharing
Adds so much to the inside
Right!?
What's the fabric called?
Idk fabric? lol, went to a fabric store and picked up some that I liked
How to make your cheap Mazda interior look even more cheaper.
I guess you could said that
