Oberyn Martell is a great character. What he said about his sister Elia and her children is missing some truly awful details. Their murder was a giant part of why Ned repeatedly refused to put a hit out on Dany and sentenced the Mountain to death. It's also why Robert and Ned had a falling out years before season 1.
Tywin burning the wolf pelt is crazy.
I always imagine the smell when I see the wolf pelt going into the fire.

Not just Ned either, Ice was passed down the generations (you can see Cregan Stark with Ice on his back in HOTD) so all first borns in that line have welded it. They must be strong AF 😂

Ice was more of a ceremonial sword. It wasn't his every day carry sword. He only brought it out for special occasions.

I think this episode is where Jamie decided he wanted to be better than he is. After hearing how he had no accolades in the book, I think he realised he hadnt done anything worthy.

This is my second favorite season!
What’s your favorite? I think Season 4 is my favorite because when I think of iconic GoT moments, I always think of S4 the most. But honestly, any season from 1 to 4 would be an answer that’s hard to argue with. If you say the last 2 seasons, however… let me stop 😂
EDIT: I really love the pageantry of Season 1 and the way it’s like a lotus flower that just keeps on unfurling and relentlessly throwing characters and locations at you so it’s impossible to lose interest. It really feels like you just got shoved headfirst into a brutal fantasy world that you’ve never seen anything close to before and I loved it. But I don’t think I fell madly in love with the show until around Season 3. I loved Season 2, it’s such a fantastic introduction to the wars to come, but back in the day I remembered it being oddly slow and I didn’t feel much interest for Stannis or for Miss Red Devil lady (Melisandre 😂) and while I loved the baby dragons, I hated seeing Dany struggle.
Looking back on it through these reactions though, the first 4 seasons of this show really are fucking golden.
Season 6 and season 4 are both off the hook amazing. I like season 6 just a tad better but there's not a bad episode in season 4....JMO

Episodes 4:1 and 4:10 are perfect bookends...some great fights and story progression! The thud of Sandor's boot landing on the sword when Poliver goes for it and the clunk when he gets hit are super effective sounds that make the scene so cool. The comradery building between the Hound and Arya is one of the best!

This is actual peak TV. 4x10 is maybe the best single episode of television ever created, but you could argue it might be 6x10 which is f*cking crazy good too.
This could be considered a little spoiler-y. It lets them know that something big could happen in those episodes. It sets expectations for those episodes, which makes the reaction less organic.
I like 4x9 personally

@NiKiMa023 Just because they're uncomfortable doesn't mean they're homophobic -- not that you said or implied that at all, but I saw a comment on one of their videos that downright accused them of being so and it reeeeally irritated me to no end. I'm so goddamn hypersensitive to misogyny and homophobia; as a result, I don't end up staying for the long-haul in many reactor channels, but these two truly have never pushed those buttons for me. They're sweet and open-minded, I think -- being mildly uncomfortable with something they're not accustomed to watching seems pretty innocent to me, especially coupled with their commentary throughout the seasons.. (Again, not coming at you! Sorry of it seems so, my brain has just been itching with annoyance since reading that comment I mentioned❤❤)

These guys seem to get a bit uncomfy when two men are involved in something sexual. That’s their right. I’m not accusing them of homophobia and I appreciate you saying as much. I definitely leave channels that are blatantly intolerant especially watching this show! A reactor once asked if Gilly was stupid (after saying to Sam ‘You’re like a wizard!). And it was such a turn off, I blocked his channel. Didn’t even want to tune in by mistake! So I get it.

I cannot explain how much I adore and love this season to bits. It’s a shame the show takes such a sharp decline after it reaches peak here, but they don’t call it peak for nothing, I guess.
But please, don’t go into the final seasons expecting to hate them. Many people actually love them… and some people like Season 8. I mean, some people also like sleeping with dogs and being racist, so just because someone likes something doesn’t mean it’s good… anyway I’m getting ahead of myself. There’s still a lot of fun to be had. I only bring this up because YOU BOYS HAVE FINALLY HIT THE HALFWAY POINT BASICALLY. How crazy is that? So, I don’t want you to skew your expectations or lose interest in the show because so many salty fans rant and rave in your eat about how much you’ll dislike something. That’s just… an undeniably shitty thing to do, and I’m someone who despises that final season.
So go forward without any expectations put into your head. You’ve been experiencing this show together in a beautifully organic way and I’m proud of this community for not spoiling the fuck out of this masterpiece.
But keep this in mind: EVEN IF YOU DO NOT LIKE THE ENDING OF THIS SHOW, DO NOT FRET. There exists a wonderful medicine to help heal and tend to any wounds that the final season may inflict, and that medicine is currently airing its second season right now :) You will LOVE HoTD

They’re calling him a freak because he is one. He is clearly more free and open thinking about sex than any character they’ve seen yet, and those who were close they also called freaks. One of the videos is literally called the Freakazoid episode

We are not, have never been, and will never be homophobic. The reason Loras gets less screen time is because everytime we see him, he’s either not saying much, or he’s having intercourse.
Anytime someone is engaging in anything s3xual, especially graphically, we call them a freakazoid. Man or woman. Straight or gay.
If you feel like the character doesn’t get as much time in the edit, that’s one thing. But we’re not going to be called something we’re not. If you want to see more, sub to the Patreon. If you want to see less, find another channel.
When you guys finish GOT, you gotta react to "Supernatural." It's 15 seasons long, and they just get better season after season. And, yeah, there's going to be a bunch of shallow minded people who think special effects are more important than a well written story that will disagree with me. But they're the kind of people who think that Independence Day is a better movie than Casablanca... not that they're cultured enough to watch something that's in black and white in the first place.
When they finish GoT, there’s only one natural next step to take. And that next step is called HOUSE OF THE DRAGON.
