Rep. Cori Bush Slams Right-Wing Orgs for "Baseless Complaints" Amid DOJ Investigation

Rep. Cori Bush, D-Mo., on Tuesday confirmed that she is being investigated by the Justice Department for allegations of misspending security money, and said she is "fully cooperating."
"I also believe in transparency which is why I can confirm that the Department of Justice is reviewing my campaign’s spending on security services," Bush said in a statement. "We are fully cooperating in this investigation, and I would like to take this opportunity to outline the facts and the truth."
She explained her spending on security services came from campaign funds, and that such services were necessary as she has faced "relentless threats to my physical safety and life" while in office.
