We aren’t the only people in history that has been slaves but we are the only people that keep crying about it after it’s been over for over a century and we’ve been given wonderful blessings and opportunities. I agree that they should get reparations, which is why I am demanding that the parties who are responsible for slavery/Jim Crow be held accountable.
First we must find out which African Tribes were capturing and selling their fellow Africans into slavery.
Then we must go after the countries that were part of the Atlantic slave trade, those countries are Portugal, Spain, Britain, France, Denmark and the Netherlands.
After we do that we need to go after the party that enacted the horrific Jim Crow policies in the South, which means the Democrat party should cut the check.

I think blacks should pay those of Irish decent reparations. When Irish immigrants came to the U.S., they faced discrimination and were hired by slave owners, mainly in New Orleans, to do dangerous work in the swamp lands because they did not want their slaves to get infectious diseases like malaria form mosquitos. Slaves were investments and the Irish were expendable. Thousands of Irish died doing dangerous work. So, blacks owe me money! Also, blacks should pay those who had ancestors who fought and died in the Civil War to end slavery! I'm a registered democrat in California since I turned 18. We had a panel vote just recently to give 2 million dollars per individual for reparations. Funny thing is that the white people are leaving California and it will be the Latinos, the Asians, and other minorities paying the bill. Plus native Americans and native Hawaiians.

A Black woman sued the federal government after the Civil War for $60 million for reparations and lost. That should be the basis for the first reparations. The average White, Asian, Latinx or Jewish American does not have $250,000 of wealth. The free Blacks before the Civil War were wealthier than Whites. The first slaves in the American colonies were mainly Irish and out numbered Black slaves until the 1700s.
And all those black slaves were sold by other black people in Africa. And there were also some black slave owners. This is a bad idea , and anyone who’s for it is just looking for a handout so they can buy Gucci and gold chains rims and grills

Let's see, the Constitution was ratified in 1787. Slavery was outlawed in 1863 shortly after the Civil War.
So slavery, which has been in existence for "THOUSANDS" of years was ended by this new country in 70 years and that was 160 years ago.👍
