Kudos for the video content! Forgive me for the intrusion, I would love your initial thoughts. Have you thought about - Piyiley Remarkable Prevalence (should be on google have a look)? It is a good one of a kind product for getting the ultimate success in your life without the hard work. Ive heard some interesting things about it and my best friend Jordan at very last got cool success with it.
Very interesting video. From the books I've read by Seth Godin (Linchpin and Tribes), my first impressions weren't that great, in fact, I got the perspective that he was writing them to make money and not to entertain and teach. After watching your review of this book, my perspective of him has changed, and now I'm ready to read some more by him. Thanks :)
You do a fantastic job ! Your videos are precise, concrete and you always come with applications you can do right now ! I hope you continue this channel !
This video popped up right after I finished reading this book (thanks Google for being creepy) and I have to say that your explanation really helped bring the message home. Love your succinct and clear explanations. Keep up the good work!
Citing Jack Welch and GE as an example? [1:05] - you have to be kidding. Jack Welch built GE on 260+ acquisitions - stripping out to assets and over-funding pension plans and getting rid of the employees - hence - "Neutron Jack" was his nickname - essentially a financial house of cards, as investors have now found out.
Agreed. GE was a terrible example. In postmortem, GE quit in many areas where it could have remained competitive to the frustration of its former employees, who now work for their rivals.
Great video - thanks for sharing! I particularly liked the idea about a quitting contract. I've recently started a RUclips channel and am going to write myself a contract now for how long I will work on the channel before I quit. Keep up the great work!
Thanks. The latest subscriber here. I saw value on your site coz: it saves time by being the highlight of these valuable books and it's presented in an easy to absorb way (a moving infographics essentially). God bless. Proverbs 31
It's an interesting idea, and always wise to think ahead, even when it's about quitting. But I think that personally, if I were to write down these circumstances under which to quit, I would focus on them too much.
Hi. There's a better book about what to do, I'd love to recommend. guess who is not and has never had a #1 selling book according to google.?? yup seth godin. so much for his following his own advice. He did have a book about a cow that sold 150,000 units and was on the forbes business book list one year. weak.
I love Seth, but I don't agree with some of this. If you can be #1, quit?! So Pepsi should quit? All the car companies in the world that aren't #1 should quit? This is a bit too black and white. You could be very happy and successful being the 3rd richest billionaire in the world lol
this guy has clearly never been in sales. usually if you are in the top 3, you get rewarded by the next year having your quota substantially increased, while having your territory cut significantly. This is so well known most salesmen have a name for it. YOu can be the hero for one year then pay the price, or be a reliable middle of the pack guy for years on end and survive. So in one readily apparent situation being the best is a fools errand and will not reward the effort.
he is radically confusing the most well known with the best. "who is best known fast food "? Mcdonalds. Who makes the best burger you ever had...?? maybe 1/500 would say mcdonalds. Is your favorite coffee shop starbucks? no? me neither!!! so his point is moot as he confuses well known with well liked or objectively best. Best known mexican food.Easy Taco Bell. Where do you go when you want good mexican food? ANYWHERE BUT TACO BELL. a ridiculous premise at best!
I hope you won't *quit* making these videos!

Being popular and being the best aren't the same. Yeah people think Starbucks for coffee shop, is starbucks the best coffee? Nope.
I think the point is that Starbucks is being the best at creating a coffee shop brand.
