No Contact has no ultimatum. No contact ends when your ex (the dumper) reaches out to you. It’s 100% their responsibility to get you back.

Be patient, trust Coach Lee, it worked for me. It took 2 months of complete no contact, but believe me I didn’t think to hear from this person at all, but sure enough he came back around.
@@tercsi1 Honestly I thought the same, and I did ALL the mistakes before I watched Coach Lee, begging, pleading, texting after the breakup here and there. Eventually I just stuck with no contact and then it started working. He came back around and I was feeling 80% sure he wasn't going to. It was very painful in those 2 months but it did work for me.

He's been very affectionate and always answered every text within minutes but at other times he would get angry because me coming around has been making it very hard for him he said. as being the dumper i can reassure you that wether your ex text you or not , or even never reaches out . At some point in there mind they will have some type of sadness wave hit them and regret . @Didier Mukendi it depends on the people and situation. My fiance is very insecure...he will assume I found someone else. It's been 26 days since he dumped me...I just started no contact 5 days ago. But I will contact him after 20 days or maybe 30, if he doesn't contact me. He broke up because he was pissed at me for something. I will give him time to cool down . I did promise him I will change those things like listening to him. He indicated that he needs to see changes. I will show him by respecting his wishes to be left alone

This sounds like you should’ve contact him after two or three months just to see where he’s at before you start to move on. Because as we’ve seen many times waiting a year or more is way too long and the dumpee has usually just moved on.

Thank you, Coach Lee. I learn a lot of things about relationships by watching your videos. Following NC strictly. It's 5th day. What I like most about NC is that whatever the outcome -- whether they contact you again or not -- it bodes well for us. It prepares one for either of the two outcomes. If she comes back, I will be happy to give one more serious try to our relationship as I still love her. And if she doesn't reach out, NC is helping me be less dependent on her, it makes their absence less painful as time passes.

My very first relationship that was serious I did everything wrong according to your advice and everything that you've told me would happen did happen. That was several years ago but the fact that you can predict almost everything that they did is incredible. Going through another breakup now and knowing that I can trust what you say means a lot.

I've been in no contact for 2 weeks today. May 29th was my birthday and my wife texted me to wish me a happy birthday and that she prays for me everyday. I responded about 2 hours later - I just thanked her and wished her well.
3 weeks ago she surprised me by walking into our church service at the same time I was walking -in. She knows I'm there every Wednesday and Sunday but just showed up.
I said, if I knew you were coming I would have arranged to sit with the praise band. I said why didn't you text me? She said I blocked you. She was quiet for about 3-5 minutes she said we can sit together just don't try and hold my hand. Nice.
But anyways she broke my NC to wish me well and a Happy Birthday. I have not tried text her since. Remaining in NC. God Bless you, Sir.

Coach Lee, again i must say; Bless you!!! It's been 1 year since I discovered your channel! You have been my Rock and I highly recommend you to anyone I know who's going through a breakup. You really helped to give me the strength to stay strong with no contact radio silence! It's taken 1 year for me to heal from my ex gf walking away without warning. I haven't been dating anyone during this past year as I really needed to heal. I'm ready to meet someone new now and just take things very slow. If I hear from my ex again I do, and if not, I'm moving on. If I was to hear from my ex, at this point I'm not sure if I would want to be back with her again, even so that deep down inside I do love her. Her walking away without warning has caused a lot of damage for me. I would listen and decide from there. I'm open to meet someone new. It's been a long road to recovery. Also he blocked me on Instagram so it was fair game. So I blocked him, and shortly after that maybe like a month he emailed me saying he cared about me and misses me. But at that point I didn’t want to respond because he hurt me too much. I never responded. I’ve been single 2 years now, and don’t think I’d ever want to go back to him. Two years ago was a very dark period in my life, thank god it’s over. The experience just made me stronger and I’m a changed person. Whatever doesnt kill your makes you stronger.

I was on and off of NC for 2months after break up, but none of it reached 30days. And of course i blame myself for reaching out to just to get some comfort. Coach Lee is right, they will never ever truly feel losing you as you always available and one minute theyre okay with you then the next they will not. Nothing consistent. When you starting feel comfortable with them, they will pull away again and again as it is not really attractive and they’ll think you’re crazy. So, today i have deleted everything about us, throwing away his stuffs and the things he gave to me. Even requested him to BLOCK ME. He is an avoidant and never ever through our 2.7years realtionship i left him, but it’s always me the one being punished and yeah this is the 3rd time he doing this. I am just SOOOOOO DONE.

Who did the broke up?
It all depends on the ex and their personality as well as locations and all other things that come into it. Hoping after 30 days your ex will come running back isn’t always true. It could be months or even years until you bump into each other again. They may even contact you when they are in a new relationship and that isn’t going well. Why, because when another relationship fails they remember the good things about their past relationship. Best advice work on yourself in what ever way possible, you carry one out your life and when your ready start dating and going to have fun. If they come back then your in control
Day 45 will fall exactly on my birthday, so we shall see... But I have made the conscious choice to let go of fixating so much on the outcome (as in getting back together) and be good either way - if he returns, I'll be happy, if he doesn't, well, I'll still be happy. :)

So... I replied twice to my own comment, and for whatever reason both have been removed. Clearly what I had to say (i.e. my personal experience with doing no contact) was not appreciated by whoever had it removed, so I'm not going to keep repeating it, it's getting boring... :) But for those of you who were actually interested in whether no contact has worked for me or not, here you go in a nutshell: he did wish me a happy birthday, and thankfully we have not spoken again, I have moved on a few months ago, had a fantastic summer as a single woman, I'm happy and interested in someone new, I wish my ex the best, and no contact does work: it will help you get over them, move on, and be happy without them. :)
@@tatina3 Yes it did not work for me our break was on April 1. I went to no contact July 5 to Sept 5 and then I contacted him again. I am still not over him and he's holding on to alot of anger. He says he needs to see me take responsibility for what happened

Success story. 40 days no contact. She didn’t reach out and neither did I. Until day 40 and I said screw it. We had a bit of a heated discussion the first few days. But finally she admitted to missing me and thinking about me everyday. That she had written so many texts and deleted them and had her phone ready to call. But thought that I was trying to move on so didn’t. It totally changed the power imbalance in our relationship. However there is a bit of a caveat. Now I don’t feel the same as I did before. I still love her. And she says she loves and misses me. I don’t know what we are going to do. But trust the process it will work. But you might not get the results you originally hoped for. But it did repair a lot of the negative feelings and arguing. Be strong. And keep cool when you or they reach out. Good luck guys and gals.

know it's really difficult and I've certainly been there. I don't know if you are aware, but Coach Lee has a live workshop called "Relationship Reignite." It's an incredible learning experience that I just can't say enough about. It focuses on saving a relationship from a breakup/separation and then keeping it after. I'm the one who got "dumped". We were never a couple, just long distance and seeing each other for 3 years. He told me he was sorry, he had been meeting with other girls, and that I'm a better person than him. That he didn't think we should keep talking. So I said, "Ow, ok. Thank you for being honest. Be well." And blocked him on everything. Literally everything. Today is 30 days, I do not know if he has tried to reach out. Maybe it's me being petty, but I'm at a point beyond my own feelings. Since he never wanted to be official, I'm deciding to extend this no contact until HE makes a move. A meaningful one. One where he proves he wants something with me. And he is free to explore the waters right now, which I already know he is doing. I don't expect a proposal. And I'm prepared to never speak again. But, the ball is now in his court. He can commit or piss off. I'm that angry. And the reality is, I will be ok. I've been through worse. I really only hope it's hurting him as much as he hurts me.

Hi coach lee, me and my partner have been together 4 years next month.. we lived together for 10 months and had a big row over finances, we split and then got back together for 3 weeks, he was saying things like “we are meant for each other” and “I didn’t worry about getting back together as I knew it would happen sooner or later as we are made for each other” he called me out of the blue and said “I’m sad with myself and don’t think I will get better but I love you more than anything” it’s been 3 weeks with no contact and have heard nothing as I wanted to give him space. I am honestly so confused and believe he will come back but he’s never held out this long.. he’s honestly my best friend and the 3 weeks we had were so lovely.. I hope he realises. I took my ex for granted, thats what she said, she broke up.with me, and omg it hurts so much, its been 3 months from the break up, I did no contact for 2 months and then sent her a text for her birthday, and i wish I didnt, man its like a break up happened again. You never know how much you love someone and how much you care for them until they are gone, and yes, she was right rhat I took her for granted, but had some personal problems and didnt tell her that, so she tought I dont care anymore., Im just sad that she actually doesnt know that I still love her and care for her, and I know how much she loved me so because of that everything is even harder, man it sucks, its so hard, but i hope time will heal my heart. Maybe you could make a video on that topic, what to do when your ex thinks you took them for granted, just suggestion, keep up the good work :)

I have been doing it for 29 days and already there has been a shift. My ex wanted to talk about getting back with me. She has been calling nonstop from day 24-29. I did not ignore her. Been like 40 days since i got blocked from everywhere. I cried and begged. Even stalked her socials but then one day, i realised that im done being a creep and a loser for not accepting the break up. Ive been so much happier since i deleted all of our chats and photos permanently. Feels like a weight has been lifted off and im beginning to find myself again. Its a hard pill to swallow but ultimately, whether or not she comes back, its more important to focus on myself and not limit my potential js because of a person that i loved. All those days of sleeping for 12 hours and not doing anything productive has been tiring and painful, but now im happier and more motivated to live my life. Thanks coach lee, even tho she might never come back, you helped me through some of my lowest times

Backstory,we started to argue a lot over petty stuff.
It became draining I admit. He became concerned about how much we argued and if it would ever change,out of the blue he said he needed a break.
Before we got off the phone,he said he loved me and cared about me.
I went straight into no contact. 7 days later he texted me.

Almost 2 weeks of no contact, he has contacted me twice, but I ignored him the last time. Almost a week since his last text… I’ll come back in a few weeks to tell you guys what’s up.
Actually, doing the 30 day no contact wasn't too bad. I think it's because I had faith in this rule. Things go fucked up after the 30 day. My ex called me on christmas. Then she sent a text. I ignored her. Ditto on new years day. And it was basically 30 day had passed. So I texted an emoji. She sent back an emoji. Then nothing. radio silence and it opened up a wound and I was feeling as shitty as I was when she broke up with me.
Three days from a year of no contact rule..... I do agree on the psychology of coaches view of the mind set of the dumped... It help me see me from another point of view and made me realize my behaviour. The negative out come of my thinking became less and less.
But I still wait and as I do I keep trying to improve myself.

I’ve done a lot of selfcare, gotten really into my spiritual side, and i even got a really good promotion at my work from all the extra hrs ive been putting in. Update: as of right now it’s almost been 3 months. I have yet to have contact with him, but I know we’ve both been extremely busy with life. Honestly I’m really happy he hasn’t contacted me yet because we both had a lot of stuff to work on. I’m sure he’ll contact eventually, we were together for too long to never speak again, and I’m okay with taking the time to become a better me. I don’t feel the need to be back with him, but would be open to a friendship at this point whenever both of us are healed and ready to have that talk. I have been extremely strict with no contact on my end, and I will not break it until he does, since he broke up with me/ghosted me. I’m in a place where I’m truly happy with whatever happens. So stay strong, because honestly it gets a million times better and easier.
See I tried this and just got ignored. Then challenge my ex about why she ignored me to end up just being told that she wasn’t yet ready to talk to me.

Stevie starr. Thats why u should NEVER EVER have reached out. Thats was her job. Ill share my story. I was dating a guy who wanted premarital sex and i dont. So he decided that we should stop seeing each other. I went into direct no contact bec i was too hurt. He was in touch every week for the next 3 months. Only a period of 3 weeks he didnt reach out. Against my broken heart, i decided that i was never ever going to reach out on my own. I only replied to him. I never reached out on my own. If they come back, u showed u had dignity and respect and theyll have to earn u back. If they dont come back, u KEPT ur dignity and respect.

My problem is (my Ex and now her BF) live in the same Apartment Complex. You can imagine how difficult it can be when we occasionally run into each other at the Pool, mailbox, walking Trail. I don't want to move as this complex is the best in the entire state and she has 11 months to go on her lease. Still, I don't text, call or email but this is Tough......

She reached out and asked to get coffee and then blew me off and said she “forgot” and she said she was busy and i said alright let me know and she never responded.
He reached out before 30 days no contact, he apologised saying he’s confused and missed me. He was in a rebound. When I Asked the reason of those messages he pulled away. Now it has been 70 days after last contact. Saw him typing but he never sent the text. We were in a6 years relationship

I love this. This video came out on day 30 of NC for me! I’m going to wait and hope I hear back from my ex around day 45. If not I’ll reach out a few days after that in May. Update: we never got back together. I reached out and got a reply that was nice enough but didn’t lead to anything.
We spoke a couple times but I could tell her feelings had completely vanished.
Fast forward 2 years later. After giving up on dating completely. I was looking for something less pressured.
I started chatting to a blonde girl who was seemingly perfect. She also wanted something more casual.
I met her and thought wow! You look incredible. I’m really punching. She’s the nicest person you’ll ever meet too.
We hit it off incredibly well.
We saw each other casually to start with but naturally became more serious.
We fell in love and now are introducing each others children.
I don’t know what I’ve done to deserve her. She really makes me complete in a way no one else ever has.
I don’t miss my ex at all anymore.
It just goes to show. You don’t know what’s around the corner folks.

So... she reached out to me first thing in the morning on the first day... idk what to do now. I wanna get back with her, but when we broke up she said I had to prove I was doing better. We broke up for a very valid reason. I lied multiple times, and sometimes I would make her feel like my personal therapist, a lot of the time I was there for her, but I wasn't always, and I was constantly always down, I wasn't very happy. We've been officially broken up for 4 days, after being on and off for a week and a half. I do plan on working on myself, buy I have no idea how to stop lying. At this point it's like breathing for me.
