The main point of no contact is to get over and move on with your life. It's not to get them back. When you're able to move on and and be happy, none of them coming back makes a difference. It's not even to get another romantic partner. It's to teach you how to be truly happy alone so when you get involved with someone else or your ex, you won't have the baggage and your past can stay where it belongs. That is the bigger picture and the higher purpose.

Can't afford counseling and I listen to coach Lee a few times a day it's only been a week since break up and 2 days of absolute NC after a 8 year realitionship very depressed can't eat or sleep but the content I get from these videos is life saving.

NC, I disappeared went to the gym and started boxing. That breakup fueled me to learn and push myself to the limits. Gained confidence and self esteem. She tries to contact me but I'm too focused on boxing and don't even care about her anymore. Good riddance. It's a process guys, everyone goes through it you aren't alone. As a dumper, I can verify that Coach Lee is on point. I broke up with him in December 2022, he stayed away and by end of February 2023, I was curious and started thinking about him again.

I told my ex when he was breaking up with me that I was very hurt, but afterward, I never brought it up again. I didn’t beg when he ended things, I told him I would respect his decision and let him move forward. Lately I’ve been getting a bunch of guilty texts from him, but I’ve been keeping it casual. It’s honestly kind of annoying that he has been reaching out because he feels guilty about breaking up with me.

I just finished your entire 3 years of videos and the emergency break up kit! I’ve been following your teachings to revive my 4 year relationship. 4 weeks into no contact, my group (ex included) got social media memories of an event we participated annually in. It sparked conversations and my Ex even started small talk personally with me. It’s tiny steps, but I’m happy that I found this place that saved me from my despair and taught me that my memories could slowly bring her back to me. Word of advice if you’re ex breaks up with you go full no contact. It’s only gona make it worse, I have had to successes with no contact. First time this girl broke up with me and did no contact and ended up meeting someone better a year later who broke up with me two years into the relationship for 6 months I did no contact. She ended up messaging me on social media telling me how much she missed me and rode by house every day for the 6 months we broke up. We are now happily married. Moral off the story no contact works because you could get them back or better yet find someone better!

It's been 3 months of NC after the horrible and chaotic end of an almost 15 year - relationship and I am still in so much pain that I can't eat, sleep, breathe or function properly, but I won't let my ex know any of that. I've been watching coach Lee's videos after my breakup. I thought I wanted to get back together with my ex, but with time I was able to realize that I was actually in a relationship with a narcissist. Coach Lee's videos really helped me feel better even though I have no desire to see or talk to my ex anymore. I just want to let you all know, that whatever happens, we will be okay. Our relationship only lasted for a few months. He didnt even bother to fight for me. He just let me go like i never meant anything to him. I begged him to stay. My ex just like a Facebook post of me catching a small shark. This is the first “contact” in the last 3 months. We broke up in November 2020. Yes, it might just be a honest “like” of the post, but there were other instances she could’ve like a photo of me and my father, mother etc. so idk what to think of it. She randomly Snapchat’s my cousin, the last one was “I miss going out to drinks with you!”. My cousin ended up deleting her because she is tired of her playing these games. This last weekend was the most “activity” in 3 months. I’m staying in no contact.
Why do some people have to go and tell the whole world about your issues! Or drag friends or people into it? Makes me feel ganged up on! Especially, when you don’t have any friends to support you! It’s awful! This has nothing to do with social media! Just a few friends that show up and then he will “dump truck” on them! I never even get to know what’s eating away at him! 11:33 This happened to me in a way I didn't expect. From other Coach Lee videos I learned that I should only take the conversation as far as she does. Or that's the way I took it anyway. For example if she says she misses me it's okay for me to say I miss her, too. Just stay one step below. My ex called and said she was crying every night so I took this as I can say something similar. I told her that I think about her before I go to sleep, which makes it difficult for me to go to sleep sometimes. She hasn't contacted me for about a month since then so I think I gave her the ego boost she needed to stay away again. So keep this in mind. I think next time I will say, "yes, I understand what you're going through" and maybe match her " crying" comment with something way more basic, like by telling her that I miss her, too. But just maybe. I'm thinking now that she might have been exaggerating her situation so that way I would open up. She knows me well and knows I can be very expressive and can go deep in conversation. Lesson learned.
Sad to see the love of your life who promised not to leave your side walking away. 5 years relationship with its ups and downs, shared love, sadness, pain, tears, went to vain. I can not believe he is gone and left me in the middle of no where struggling alone with his absence. He was not only my BF he was my friend, my family and now I have no one. I have used the no contact since day one (9 days ago) and I still haven’t heard from him. He posted a snap saying he would never forget me yet haven’t reached out to me. My ex broke up with me because he says he has lost his feelings for me after 3 years of relationship. There was also a girl coming in between us and he says his feelings has shifted to the gurl . I didn’t even reached out to him on his bday And I have documented the whole NC journey as per below 1st month of NC - we both hide our dating pictures on insta 2nd month of NC - he posted 1 FB post showing anger at me , Didnt contact him on his bday and few days later he reposted a sad song from RUclips 3rd month of NC - he unarchived pictures of us from insta 4th month of NC- he posted a sad meme about moving on During the whole NC period , he still views all of my stories . But I didn’t . What does this means when he unarchived all of our pictures ? he has never kept any pictures of his ex gf before . Does it means something ? I am so confused right now because he was so determined and mean when he breaks up with me and he clearly told me that he has feelings for the other girl

I hink because of radio silence , her relief period got over very soon . i am suddenly seeing evidences of narcissistic behaviors from my ex which include the photo she took after our first time in bed, the way she shared about being popular in school where she is now, how she lost weight and feels so confident about it now. and then breaking up with no actual justification about what I did wrong. ’m not sure this all applies to my situation. My ex left because he said I’m too independent and that I don’t need him. He’s 16yrs my senior. He’s divorced and needs to be needed. Wanted me to say things like “I really want you here with me” even though I gave him a key to my home( WHICH I NEVER DID FOR ANYONE ELSE), IMO is the universal “ I want you here”. Coach, I emailed my ex saying how I feel, I’m letting her go, accepted the breakup, and wished her the best. I said although I’d be open to start a new relationship, I’m moving forward as well. Am now a week into no contact. Was that a mistake?
Ok, I'm hurting and confused. My ex and I broke up at the end of February. She said she needed time and she needed to work on herself. She still talked to me but said she didn't know if she could or wants a relationship. So May and June she asked to meet me while she was out of town working, so I did. We had great conversations and everything seemed great but she still said didn't know what she wants but still misses and loves me. A day after our last meeting she stopped calling that much to nothing. I finally talked to her yesterday and she said her Therapist told her that if she still isn't sure about getting back together she needs to tell me that she needs more time and that she needs to stop seeing me because it's not fair. I get it but she neglected to tell me anything and let me go a month after our last meeting not hearing anything and not knowing what's going on. I'm very hurt and upset and now I don't even know if actual no contact will work because it's been so long. I really do love this woman and she is seeing a Therapist because of past abuse from family and her exhusband.
Lee. I was wondering, what happens if your ex is a cheater and leaves you for the one they cheated on you with? I don't want to get back with her obviously because of what happened, but I do seek validation and the knowledge that she made a mistake, but it's harder to think they regret things when it wasnt just a rebound and was instead a long running affair. Do the same rules apply?

Don't get your hopes up. Don't wait around for that text message that maybe won't happen. If she texts you great, if she doesn't, that's okay too. Try to focus on you and stay in no contact.
I want to thanks coach lee guys in day 17 my ex contacted me and kept calling ion june 20, he went to me around june 27 with flowers and a stuff toy and a letter why he wants to be back even pleaded to be back together! The main point of no contact is to get over and move on with your life. It's not to get them back. When you're able to move on and and be happy, none of them coming back makes a difference. It's not even to get another romantic partner. It's to teach you how to be truly happy alone so when you get involved with someone else or your ex, you won't have the baggage and your past can stay where it belongs. That is the bigger picture and the higher purpose.

NC, I disappeared went to the gym and started boxing. That breakup fueled me to learn and push myself to the limits. Gained confidence and self esteem. She tries to contact me but I'm too focused on boxing and don't even care about her anymore. Good riddance. It's a process guys, everyone goes through it you aren't alone. I told my ex when he was breaking up with me that I was very hurt, but afterward, I never brought it up again. I didn’t beg when he ended things, I told him I would respect his decision and let him move forward. Lately I’ve been getting a bunch of guilty texts from him, but I’ve been keeping it casual. I just finished your entire 3 years of videos and the emergency break up kit! I’ve been following your teachings to revive my 4 year relationship. 4 weeks into no contact, my group (ex included) got social media memories of an event we participated annually in. It sparked conversations and my Ex even started small talk personally with me. It’s tiny steps, but I’m happy that I found this place that saved me from my despair and taught me that my memories could slowly bring her back to me. Every day I flip between the confidence to move on and the confidence to make my relationship work. Word of advice if you’re ex breaks up with you go full no contact. It’s only gona make it worse, I have had to successes with no contact. First time this girl broke up with me and did no contact and ended up meeting someone better a year later who broke up with me two years into the relationship for 6 months I did no contact. She ended up messaging me on social media telling me how much she missed me and rode by house every day for the 6 months we broke up. We are now happily married. Moral off the story no contact works because you could get them back or better yet find someone better!

Finally a new video from Coach Lee! This video is just what I needed as encouragement to make it through yet another horrible week. It's been 3 months of NC after the horrible and chaotic end of an almost 15 year - relationship and I am still in so much pain that I can't eat, sleep, breathe or function properly, but I won't let my ex know any of that. I will try to stay in NC for as long as it takes and I won't give up yet, because I love this man with all of my heart.
Your videos have been such a source of calm of comfort for me in what is the most difficult time of my life and have indeed been much more helpful to me than any of what my therapist has told me. I've been watching coach Lee's videos after my breakup. I thought I wanted to get back together with my ex, but with time I was able to realize that I was actually in a relationship with a narcissist. Coach Lee's videos really helped me feel better even though I have no desire to see or talk to my ex anymore. I just want to let you all know, that whatever happens, we will be okay. And in the meantime, there are people like coach Lee who are here to guide us and help us through it! :)
No don't tell them!!! Give them the break up. Then cry your eyes out on your own. The use the pain to motivate and improve as a person... Go no contact and show them one day the new you and improved.

She was so different from a lot of girls.. we broke up May 26 and it’s now July and I’m still kinda mopey about it.. she even told me she’d never come back even if I was perfect.. one night I asked God to show me a sign that one day I’ll find someone better than my ex or one day I’ll get back with my ex in the future. And then I asked him to show me that sign by manifesting this red bird. So the next day around 6pm I sat outside on the phone and I looked up and saw that exact bird sitting on top of someone’s roof for 10 seconds until it flew away. And 2 weeks later suddenly i got a text i dont love you i tried but i dont love you i am sorry…. She already had someone else never been so confused because she told my sister that she wants kids with me …long story short i wished her all the best with her new guy and she told me dont say that and thats the last time we spoke 3 weeks later she blocked me every where because i didnt say shit to her ! My ex just like a Facebook post of me catching a small shark. This is the first “contact” in the last 3 months. We broke up in November 2020. Yes, it might just be a honest “like” of the post, but there were other instances she could’ve like a photo of me and my father, mother etc. so idk what to think of it.
She randomly Snapchat’s my cousin, the last one was “I miss going out to drinks with you!”. My cousin ended up deleting her because she is tired of her playing these games. This last weekend was the most “activity” in 3 months.

This happened to me in a way I didn't expect.
From other Coach Lee videos I learned that I should only take the conversation as far as she does. Or that's the way I took it anyway. For example if she says she misses me it's okay for me to say I miss her, too. Just stay one step below.
My ex called and said she was crying every night so I took this as I can say something similar. I told her that I think about her before I go to sleep, which makes it difficult for me to go to sleep sometimes.
She hasn't contacted me for about a month since then so I think I gave her the ego boost she needed to stay away again.
So keep this in mind. I think next time I will say, "yes, I understand what you're going through" and maybe match her " crying" comment with something way more basic, like by telling her that I miss her, too. But just maybe.
I'm thinking now that she might have been exaggerating her situation so that way I would open up. She knows me well and knows I can be very expressive and can go deep in conversation.

Sad to see the love of your life who promised not to leave your side walking away. 5 years relationship with its ups and downs, shared love, sadness, pain, tears, went to vain. I can not believe he is gone and left me in the middle of no where struggling alone with his absence. He was not only my BF he was my friend, my family and now I have no one. I have used the no contact since day one (9 days ago) and I still haven’t heard from him. He posted a snap saying he would never forget me yet haven’t reached out to me. At this point I am giving up on him and myself. The amount of pain i am dealing with now is huge that I wish someone could just give me something which makes me pass into a final peace as speedily and gently as possible.

Don't let them know you're suffering if you were the one who got dumped. They want you to suffer. Thats why they dumped you. At one point they felt that you were making them to suffer. Now they want the same on you. If they find out that you're suffering, they will smile.

After following Coach Lee work since some time and watched most of his video.He is master of psychology. I went to no contact and radio silence,she slowly came back after 2 week . I hink because of radio silence , her relief period got over very soon . Coach lee video on stages ur ex go through is awesome and help you to prepare for long time .she tested me first by sending a pic of her new job kit whether I would respond or not. I congratulated and faded the conversation . after that I initiated a small talk and then it went on , she said she is not interested so I told her that it feels worse to get rejected in the world . may be I should not have told it. I wished the video would have came a bit earlier . I am in no contact again . I think its over now
I do not have confidence on Zulu. I have confidence on @coach Lee. Previously also his technique helped in bringing my girlfirend in talking to me . Plus I do not have money to spend . If my GF comes back then its good otherwise I will know its my destiny and wont pursue her . I used to have panic attack and watching Coach lee helped me in reducing the panic attack

i am suddenly seeing evidences of narcissistic behaviors from my ex which include the photo she took after our first time in bed, the way she shared about being popular in school where she is now, how she lost weight and feels so confident about it now. and then breaking up with no actual justification about what I did wrong. Really disgusting. And it makes me second guess my hopes to get back with her.
Joan Ther. If she did that to you, then she obviously doesn't love you. She may have some narcissistic traits, but it does not make her a narcissist. Let her go and move on. Hugs for you ❤❤

Actually I'm opposite of some of the people going through break up. When I'm in pain or hurting I don't want him to know I'm hurting inside cause my burden shouldn't be his burden that's how I handle break up. I don't post anything that he will read or know what I'm been up too cause if he really care he will reach out if not life is go on. Your one of my favorite dating coach! You inspired us and motivate as to do better. The coach you can trust abour relationship and no playing games on giving advised.
Well, too late. I’m seeing this after sending a letter a week ago today. I said what I needed to say and left it alone. Other than that, I’ve been NC for 4 weeks tomorrow and that’s the way I plan to keep it.

Oh man I screwed up. I let him know I cried all day the day he broke up with me. He said he felt so sorry for hurting me and he knows I’m gonna find a better man he has complete faith that I will find that because I’m such a wonderful woman. LOL

The pain is very deep but I will not express it to him anymore. I’m going to do no contact. Thank you Coach I couldn’t make it through this without you. This is the most painful thing I’ve ever gone through. I miss him so much and I dearly loved him. But he said he cannot get over our age gap. So he definitely feels “more attractive than me”… Even though he’s not he is just a shallow person.
Unless his mindset changes and he realizes what truly is valuable in life such as a good woman he will not commit to me even though he’s been in my life for five years very intimately on all levels.

I was with someone for 6 months before she broke up with me. Then I bought your Emergency Breakup Kit and applied it. She reached out to me 6 weeks later and we slowly got back together. We were together another 1 year and 2 months before she dumped me again... Still in love with her. Should I re-use your breakup kit the same way I did the first time? Will the stages of no-contact still be the same for my ex the second time around? Or will my ex be more prepared for it this time due to the fact that she already experienced life without me in the first breakup?
I see it work more than once quite a bit. Sometimes it takes multiple times for them to really get it.
Maybe it's time to learn to let go for good. What makes you think your ex wont do it again and again? Do you enjoy being discarded like that? Your ex does not value you. Use no contact to focus on yourself and learn to be happy alone.

Hey Lee, she wants to see me. Said she missed my hugs and misses me a lot, cried on the phone to me. We saw each other once after break up and we kissed a bit. She was very physical. Talked about "our future with kids and cars". We talked about meeting. Should I? It has only been a week since she broke up but she still loves me and feels some feelings for me. Nc for 4 days and she called me and cried and all. So I have no clue. Do i still hold back and set up no meeting yet? She'll most likely flirt again and all and I wont bring anything up about the relation.
I ruined Everything my ex left 3 days ago I immediately applied no contact I saw the signs that she was missing me and feeling the sense of me not being around I got carried by my feelings and I sent her a message saying " I hate to break it to you I miss u and I know you miss me too " then she said " I miss you but don't take this as me playing hard to get me leading you on". I screwed up I'm never getting back with her I broke no contact rule 3 days after she left

’m not sure this all applies to my situation. My ex left because he said I’m too independent and that I don’t need him. He’s 16yrs my senior. He’s divorced and needs to be needed. Wanted me to say things like “I really want you here with me” even though I gave him a key to my home( WHICH I NEVER DID FOR ANYONE ELSE), IMO is the universal “ I want you here”. I can honestly say I’m not an emotional woman- he’s more emotional than I. I’m wondering in my case, if telling him I’m so sad without him would actually help reconnect us?
He is dating another colleague at same workplace we work in. I really want to let him know that he should atleast have some basic human respect for my presence.
Heyo, was 2.5 year with my gf. We bought a house together.
We later decided to get a puppy.
My gf had struggles getting up at the morning to walk the dog so alot of family members had to help her. We figured the best solution (after the puppy was 8 months) to give him to some1 who really didnt struggle having a dog/puppy. She agreed, 4 months after that we broke up because of that. And she told me she couldnt see a future together because of this. She told me that i need to grow up. And I have been in no contact for over 1 month now. She is currently in a rebound relationship aswell

The problem is I feel like I am the ex ex as in they had a limerence and broke up with them. Ok, I'm hurting and confused. My ex and I broke up at the end of February. She said she needed time and she needed to work on herself. She still talked to me but said she didn't know if she could or wants a relationship. So May and June she asked to meet me while she was out of town working, so I did. We had great conversations and everything seemed great but she still said didn't know what she wants but still misses and loves me. A day after our last meeting she stopped calling that much to nothing. I finally talked to her yesterday and she said her Therapist told her that if she still isn't sure about getting back together she needs to tell me that she needs more time and that she needs to stop seeing me because it's not fair. I get it but she neglected to tell me anything and let me go a month after our last meeting not hearing anything and not knowing what's going on. I'm very hurt and upset and now I don't even know if actual no contact will work because it's been so long. I really do love this woman and she is seeing a Therapist because of past abuse from family and her exhusband.

Lee. I was wondering, what happens if your ex is a cheater and leaves you for the one they cheated on you with? I don't want to get back with her obviously because of what happened, but I do seek validation and the knowledge that she made a mistake, but it's harder to think they regret things when it wasnt just a rebound and was instead a long running affair. Do the same rules apply?

Start NC now, it's your best shot at reattracting her. Regain your power, and start working on yourself. It'll get a little easier every day : two steps forward, one step back. You'll get through this.

Coach, so you mention that a lot of dumpers “soften the blow” in hopes that you’ll just go away. That’s exactly what happened to me, I was given false hope. My ex called abt a week after no contact, but I let my emotions get the best of me,then I hanged up the phone on her,,now it's like no contact all over again.. wish me luck bday in a few days..hoping I just get a text...
Don't get your hopes up. Don't wait around for that text message that maybe won't happen. If she texts you great, if she doesn't, that's okay too. Try to focus on you and stay in no contact.
