I suffer from depression in the best of times and came from a very traumatic upbringing. Anyway, I'm just pissed at all the mistakes I made. She was still in love but had left, and I made all the mistakes that pushed her away further. That eats at me even more than her leaving.
I cried and begged on the day he broke up with me then he blocked me on social media. Was devastated for 10 days, watched coach Lee everytime I feel sad and lonely and made sure to follow his advice. 2 weeks now on NC rule, he keeps asking about me from our mutual friends. It has taken me a very long time to understand what this man is talking about in all his vids. They all pretty much say the same thing but with different angles. It’s really liberating to know that time is a major factor in this. We are so conditioned to having things our way at any time. Not so... the biggest challenge and the hardest thing to do for any person is to stand still. Yet there is power in doing so. Stand still and not try to fix things or take matters into our own hands. Count me in that the no contact works. It works especially when there were lots of great moments. I've noticed my ex losing weight. She had a bad eating disorder that I'd help her fight through but now...I've also been told by a friend she seems extremely depressed. Given the holidays no contact has been mixed. I rarely have reached out. She reached out first for Christmas for example. But she keeps telling my friends or mutual friends to tell me to move on, that she has no intention of ever trying to mend what we had. It hurts to hear but technically shouldn't be news. She left me right around Thanksgiving. This all just hurts. At the very least I have been actively trying to take positive steps in my life to improve, hopefully she takes notice of that

Omg omg.. I swear this is my 1st public comment on YT ever. Because I found this relates to my experience so badly. My bf who said he’s deeply in love with me “took a break” since 2 weeks ago, I begged & pleaded for a few days then went into complete NC since a week ago; I had to break NC last night because there was a gunshot reported at our apartment building (my bf is my neighbor) and there were police everywhere, I was frightened and texted him because I had no other families in this country. Then he said he misses me so much, I didn’t show excitement and I stayed calm. Then he FaceTimed me saying he just want to make sure I’m ok, I’m safe etc. I didn’t say anything about getting back together but instead he told me how sad and depressed he was the whole week last week, etc. I acted casual and light hearted. My case is that he has to deal with a lot of work/life stress and drama from his maniac roommate (his roommate doesn’t want him to see me because I’m dealing with my divorce). I've noticed my ex losing weight. She had a bad eating disorder that I'd help her fight through but now...I've also been told by a friend she seems extremely depressed. Given the holidays no contact has been mixed. I rarely have reached out. She reached out first for Christmas for example. But she keeps telling my friends or mutual friends to tell me to move on, that she has no intention of ever trying to mend what we had. It hurts to hear but technically shouldn't be news. She left me right around Thanksgiving. This all just hurts. At the very least I have been actively trying to take positive steps in my life to improve, hopefully she takes notice of that

1 month of no contact. The first 2 weeks were unbearable, and every day I woke up I was so saddened that it was reality that we were no longer in each others lives. It is now a month and my mind is coming to terms with everything. Omg omg.. I swear this is my 1st public comment on YT ever. Because I found this relates to my experience so badly.
My bf who said he’s deeply in love with me “took a break” since 2 weeks ago, I begged & pleaded for a few days then went into complete NC since a week ago; I had to break NC last night because there was a gunshot reported at our apartment building (my bf is my neighbor) and there were police everywhere, I was frightened and texted him because I had no other families in this country.
Then he said he misses me so much, I didn’t show excitement and I stayed calm. Then he FaceTimed me saying he just want to make sure I’m ok, I’m safe etc. I didn’t say anything about getting back together but instead he told me how sad and depressed he was the whole week last week, etc. I acted casual and light hearted. And I’ll continue using NC and give it a try.
I can feel he’s still in love with me and he’s hurting from his own decision. But hopefully NC really works. 🥺

My case is that he has to deal with a lot of work/life stress and drama from his maniac roommate (his roommate doesn’t want him to see me because I’m dealing with my divorce). So my bf said he’s totally not in a good place right now to be with me in a relationship even though it hurts him a lot because he loves me deeply. I know it’s all “cliche” when he said “you deserve better”, “I need to work on myself” etc.
I am just wondering at some point will NC work on our case because he could feel intimidated to get back together with me again. Maybe he just wants to have me as his friend forever.

No contact has always worked for me in every relationship where I was either the dumper or the dumpee. I got through an 11 year relationship/marriage through 7 months of NC... i woke up one day and realized I did NOT want to be in a shitty marriage.
