@@orava2008 yeah I’m done with the self pitty. Life’s looking a lot better now than what it was 4 months ago. Did some soul searching, definitely see some of my own faults in the relationship for sure but cheating is definitely not the answer regardless. It seems like you might of cheated… is that why you’re so bothered by my comment?

@@antoniosciara7322 It took me a couple of months to be sort of Ok. Now I met a new girl. Perhaps she is not as good as the other one. But with her I have a new identity. I can now escape the pain and live there. "The quickest way to get over somebody is to get under somebody new".
@@runer007 I don't know man. I've tried that but all I do is think about her when I'm with the new one. It took me 4 years to get over my last one. I suffer from depression in the best of times and came from a very traumatic upbringing. Anyway, I'm just pissed at all the mistakes I made. She was still in love but had left, and I made all the mistakes that pushed her away further. That eats at me even more than her leaving.

me and my ex started talking back these few days after 3 years! 3 FKIN YEARS! turns out she said she’ll thinks about me sometimes and misses us, and said she regret breaking up. I was begging her to come back after the breakup, i even got down on my knees and flew back from Australia just to see her cuz she was admitted to the hospital. Nothing works even if i show her how much i love her. No contact really works! Hang in there guys! Don’t give up! Learn to love yourself first and find what you love to do in life!!!

I cried and begged on the day he broke up with me then he blocked me on social media. Was devastated for 10 days, watched coach Lee everytime I feel sad and lonely and made sure to follow his advice. 2 weeks now on NC rule, he keeps asking about me from our mutual friends. I had to fake being happy in front of them and that’s what he knows, two days ago he just unblocked me but i ignored it and pretended i didn’t noticed. It has taken me a very long time to understand what this man is talking about in all his vids.
They all pretty much say the same thing but with different angles. It’s really liberating to know that time is a major factor in this. We are so conditioned to having things our way at any time.
Not so... the biggest challenge and the hardest thing to do for any person is to stand still. Yet there is power in doing so. Stand still and not try to fix things or take matters into our own hands. I am learning that.
Like the Mick says: ‘Time is on my side, yes it is.’ They have to experience the LOSS. Not too many people experience that. They just hop from one relationship to another..

I still watch your videos just as a refresher course. I remember reading on social media how HAPPY he is with his rebound. He's so much happier without me. Lol...I'm on to him, and came a long way. You helped me a lot, and I'll ALWAYS be grateful. I was his first love, and he won't forget me. This is being written 3 months after my original. My ex is a narcissist, and he never had feelings for me. They don't know how to love. I'm doing great now, since I haven't heard from him in 10.8 years. Everyone is different. After i read your page i have begun to see the real picture of a relationship, i ve followed and it help me to go thru the hard times.
No contact has always worked for me in every relationship where I was either the dumper or the dumpee. I got through an 11 year relationship/marriage through 7 months of NC... i woke up one day and realized I did NOT want to be in a shitty marriage.
I am now back to NC after being with someone for about 8 months... NC is for YOU to heal, to get that equilibrium back, to be ok with being with YOURSELF. It’s a time for reflection and introspection. If an ex happens to come back, awesome, if not that’s awesome too.... why? I've noticed my ex losing weight. She had a bad eating disorder that I'd help her fight through but now...I've also been told by a friend she seems extremely depressed. Given the holidays no contact has been mixed. I rarely have reached out. She reached out first for Christmas for example. But she keeps telling my friends or mutual friends to tell me to move on, that she has no intention of ever trying to mend what we had. It hurts to hear but technically shouldn't be news. She left me right around Thanksgiving. This all just hurts. At the very least I have been actively trying to take positive steps in my life to improve, hopefully she takes notice of that

My ex does the same thing literally bar for bar. I posted a shirtless selfie and she posted how happy she was that I'm gone. Then posted a selfie of herself so I posted one and she went and posted a video. 😅
1 month of no contact. The first 2 weeks were unbearable, and every day I woke up I was so saddened that it was reality that we were no longer in each others lives. It is now a month and my mind is coming to terms with everything. I am not almost collapsing with sadness, I now just have a quick sob and I am coming to terms with it and that we needed to go out separate ways. OMGosh your bonus sign happened to me: ex broke up with me in October, disappeared and then randomly invited me over for Christmas dinner at his parents’. Coach, I've been watching your videos since my ex and I broke up a day after new year. And you are such a big help. I know that most of your videos focus on "getting the ex back," but can you also provide us some insights on what are the things to do or advice how to move forward?
For instance, I don't want to get back together with my ex. I really mean it. Every now and then, a part of me would still miss him but I am firm that I don't want us to get back together. He's the dumper by the way. I followed your NC rule and successful in it- he even reached out after almost 2 weeks (just to tell me something about an item to be shipped to my friend). And I ignored it- it feels empowering and I feel emancipated. Afterwhich, it's inevitable for me to miss him (mainly the good side of him, the routine, but not entirely him). How to cope with that?

The #1 way to move forward is to meet new ppl. Go on dates. If on a budget, go to places like the park or the beach. What happens psychologically is that your focus moves from your ex to the new ppl you meet and the new things happening in your life. Eventually, you attract to one individual. Overtime as you spend more time with this new person, the love and attention you once had for your ex is transferred to this new person. This is not just a theoretical hypothesis. This is realistic. Real experiences. This is how I got over my exes. And this is also my ex got over me. And believe me, I loved my last ex a lot. But as humans, our feelings can change once we refocus. NC and focus on new ppl. You'll see how quickly you move on. The beginning is the hardest part.

Omg omg.. I swear this is my 1st public comment on YT ever. Because I found this relates to my experience so badly.
My bf who said he’s deeply in love with me “took a break” since 2 weeks ago, I begged & pleaded for a few days then went into complete NC since a week ago; I had to break NC last night because there was a gunshot reported at our apartment building (my bf is my neighbor) and there were police everywhere, I was frightened and texted him because I had no other families in this country.
Then he said he misses me so much, I didn’t show excitement and I stayed calm. Then he FaceTimed me saying he just want to make sure I’m ok, I’m safe etc. I didn’t say anything about getting back together but instead he told me how sad and depressed he was the whole week last week, etc. I acted casual and light hearted. And I’ll continue using NC and give it a try.
I can feel he’s still in love with me and he’s hurting from his own decision. But hopefully NC really works. 🥺

My case is that he has to deal with a lot of work/life stress and drama from his maniac roommate (his roommate doesn’t want him to see me because I’m dealing with my divorce). So my bf said he’s totally not in a good place right now to be with me in a relationship even though it hurts him a lot because he loves me deeply. I know it’s all “cliche” when he said “you deserve better”, “I need to work on myself” etc.

My ex showed up at a show I performed in. (We broke up a yr ago.) I blocked him from all social media and my phone. He flat out asked have I found anyone else and if so is our energy, connection, chemistry as strong as mine and his used to be.

My wife wants a divorce and sent me divorce papers, as we're separated. But she keeps the letters and poems I sent her. I asked her about this a couple weeks ago, why she keeps them. She said she didn't know. After an argument while texting, she said I ruined any chance of us ever getting back together. I thought there was no chance in that anyway. She had also blocked me after that last messaging. She texted me today, while I was watching one of your videos, deciding to go silent. She will definitely expect me to message her back. She will be waiting a while. She won't be expecting my silence.
So are you & wife reconciled or divorced?
This came ironically at a good time. Now that everything you described has happened, I'm just gon keep swimming up stream against the current because its how I want its how I need it. She fooled me one too many times it has become repetitive.

QUESTION: does this video apply when your ex follows the same “quote page” on social media and only likes the posts on “loving the wrong person” and “growing on your own?” It seems like she only likes the posts about me being “the wrong person,” and it really hurts to see. It’s been 2 months of no contact from a LDR. We’re now back in college together. Any idea why she’s doing this?
It could be multiple things. Just stay in no contact.

I am not sure if I want my ex back, but your videos have definitely made me feel me good about myself, I am not depressed, even feeling great.. that things happened for good, I might not even accept him when he comes back for he has done a lot of Damage.. and I kept forgiving me, yet he left me as I was the one with flaws.. that I am not good enough.. well fine.
