He mighta forgotten that the chase never ends and she herself might be feeling really ignored and women need to feel safe and understood or their legs close. So on the one hand, he makes her feel unsafe and unheard, and then the end result, if he is unaware/uneducated, or is a serial cheater, is that he will try to use another woman to break through to his wife.... Talking to your ex does not get them back. Unfortunately, I found all of these videos after my outrageous responses. I know now that if someone breaks up with me, just say “Ok.” Zero work or effort after that. Yeah tread carefully if they're personality disordered. She'll absolutely want to get you locked into a push pull cycle, and will eventually fully discard you anyway. Zero contact is the only way forward. She will not be happy with this new person and until she gets into long term consistent therapy, will continue to do this to anyone she's romantically involved with. These relationships are far more common than people think, and don't work the same as normal breakups.
This is why its so important to understand relationships and how they work. Because when you do, you really don't bother with games your ex plays, their silence, or whatever they are doing because you are too busy moving on and not worried about all this. Being worried about what your ex is doing and their games is how you stay stuck going backwards. Good topic here, because these are the games ex's can play.

I started no contact until I bumped into her, she ran up to me and told me she wants to still marry me, and I fell Into a state where I started checking up on her every 2, 3 weeks with hour phone calls. Found out the truth of why she left me, she was getting forced by one of her parent, I should of listened and disappeared and stayed in no contact, she lead me on hours hanging out, then she disappeared, and now she's speaking to someone else, if someone leaves you, for a stupid reasons, and decide to hurt you, walk away with dignity.

This is 1000% true. I took her back 5 times in 5 years and the disrespect was insane. She never changed. It ended the exact same way the last 2 times. I learned self respect and bounderies are more important than love.
Sometimes friends can be the worst- some have very good intentions, some not, but they often blindly support one side or the other. That isn't beneficial to anyone. True friends will push you to think about the situation in a more holistic and honest way.

These videos really help. I've seen her do pretty much all of this, even after I made mistakes before learning no contact and the rest. I didn't think I'd hit that spot, but now I'm still up for the idea of reconciling but standing on my own two feet more and more.

There was behaviour I found disrespectful which we actually had a healthy talk about, but soon after the ghosting started again and the white lies started building up. So I left a door open for her to contact me on my terms and took myself out of our old social group. Life is getting more peaceful, slowly.

It absolutely sucks. I have been separated with my wife since I returned from basic training BCT. Same night I came back from Missouri and Texas BCT/AIT, I and my wife were having disagreements. I'm at fault as well as her but for whatever reason, she doesn't own her part. Long story short, I flew back home at 9pm and was kicked out 10.30pm same night. I was out there with my ruck sacks and duffle bags as heavy as hell trying to get me a hotel. I do miss her and no day goes by I don't think about her. It's been 5months and counting. It was a horrible emotional period I had to deal with. But today I'm strong and happy.

Same happened with me after watching videos. I moved on , like I don't want them anymore and I don't see them as future wife ,and also my heart don't squeezes for her. But sometimes I feel lonely and I check her many times without get butt hurt for a reason(see how my love impacted for this kind of dumper). I don't want her anymore. But if it is about sex, then I am super interested. She has been with rebound for 1 month(same timing of my break up). They recently had sex, and told her friend that she can make both of us in contest for sex fight(timing). I mean she compares her bf with me. Because I was good at it. She had sex on her birthday 2023. I didn't wished her. After 2 days later she unblocked my messenger, but after that day she deleted my previous message with me( probably don't want to get hurt for memory/her new bf can check). But it gives me a sign that she used to see our chat history which was her previous behaviour too, because why she has to come down to delete those message or unblock me before that. After doing this two works . She still keep me unblock.
My takeaway is how to behave after a break up with dignity and self respect. Trying to force it is manipulation and control , let it go and be mature, let time do it’s thing.

Yes it is and I'm a bit confused on the NC rule. An article on Brain Sharper (March 2020) had a section "When Not To Use No Contact" and it quotes Coach Lee as saying, "While many other dating coaches say the no contact rule should be permanent, coach Lee believes there is a time limit. He says, “45 days if the relationship was up to 6 months. After a year it’s somewhere around a month and a half. And beyond that, it’s 2 months or more.”" The article also states, "Lee admits that chances of reconciliation after a break-up are slim once three months have passed." This is where my confusion hangs... Is NC supposed to be absolutely permanent or should we follow what you state in the article and reach out after a certain period of time? It seems as though that if we keep NC for 3 months or more then reconciliation is slim to none so perhaps permanent NC isn't the best solution.

It's been 7mos since my break up, during that time we were communicating but not in the right way. It was more of blaming one another...she's been in two relationships now and I'm super confused on that but that another story. @@SISTAG-wb6bh Conceptually the NC rule makes sense to me. They left you and in reality you shouldn't chase them as it does make you look weak. I've been the dumper before and when the girl begs, grovels, cries and calls/texts every other minute it just pushed me further away. So, the NC concept makes sense. However, how long do you hold out on NC? Is it a permanent thing or do you wait like his article says...45 days if the relationship was 6 mo's, etc. In the end, there's no silver bullet. I got dumped 24 hours ago via text by my now ex and I've barely slept or eaten...just looking for pearls of wisdom on the internet. I wish you luck my friend. It is a horrific feeling...just crushing.

My ex was resentful for quite a few months leading up to the break up. His behaviour changed and he was unpleasant at times yet still caring at other times. I see now he was pushing me towards ending it so he didn’t feel guilty. He still wants to be friends and yet teases me at times with a hug, a kiss, knowing full well it’s hurting me. It’s hard to do no contact, knowing this could be the end of everything. But his constant early morning messages, the offers of help, is messing with my head. I’d advise anyone to protect yourself. If you’ve broken up then you need to look after yourself. You broke up for a reason.

Hey Coach, My EX was a jerk . He had his mother call me to invite me over told me her son would not mind if I came over. I was mildly curious I made the mistake of going there and what do I find my EX who came out with a big smile on his face. He said hello I said hello and then I see this girl walking up behind him. Not smiling . They were wearing matching outfits . No mother in sight. I was ambushed big time Coach . I said nothing and left quietly. This was my mistake for keeping contact with his mother a few months after the break up. I showed no emotion... I wanted to laugh the two of them looked ridiculous.

I agree with most of the points, but I disagree there needs to be any false response, my ex wanted to be friends but I told her clearly that I have the feelings for her and want her to be happy but I can’t continue to be a friend and be available for her as I’m emotionally invested. I told her that I leave her with love and light and focus on detaching completely with her. I felt much lighter and think this helps me heal.

Yeah tread carefully if they're personality disordered. She'll absolutely want to get you locked into a push pull cycle, and will eventually fully discard you anyway. Zero contact is the only way forward. There was behaviour I found disrespectful which we actually had a healthy talk about, but soon after the ghosting started again and the white lies started building up. It absolutely sucks. I have been separated with my wife since I returned from basic training BCT. Same night I came back from Missouri and Texas BCT/AIT, I and my wife were having disagreements. I'm at fault as well as her but for whatever reason, she doesn't own her part. Long story short, I flew back home at 9pm and was kicked out 10.30pm same night.
I was out there with my ruck sacks and duffle bags as heavy as hell trying to get me a hotel.
I do miss her and no day goes by I don't think about her. It's been 5months and counting.
It was a horrible emotional period I had to deal with. But today I'm strong and happy.

Same happened with me after watching videos. I moved on , like I don't want them anymore and I don't see them as future wife ,and also my heart don't squeezes for her. But sometimes I feel lonely and I check her many times without get butt hurt for a reason(see how my love impacted for this kind of dumper). I don't want her anymore. But if it is about sex, then I am super interested. She has been with rebound for 1 month(same timing of my break up). They recently had sex, and told her friend that she can make both of us in contest for sex fight(timing). I mean she compares her bf with me. Because I was good at it. She had sex on her birthday 2023. I didn't wished her. After 2 days later she unblocked my messenger, but after that day she deleted my previous message with me( probably don't want to get hurt for memory/her new bf can check). But it gives me a sign that she used to see our chat history which was her previous behaviour too, because why she has to come down to delete those message or unblock me before that. After doing this two works . She still keep me unblock.
My takeaway is how to behave after a break up with dignity and self respect. Trying to force it is manipulation and control , let it go and be mature, let time do it’s thing.
I was totally heartbroken when he told me he wanted to leave me . He blamed me for not loving and appreciating him. I cried and pleaded and begged but he was stunned and did not listen. Then he angrily warned me not to interfere or make any problems in his coming new relationship with someone . This warning made me stun and so as soon as I knew that he was with another girl I disconnected everything with him. Luckily I found your inspiring videos which made me stronger and more resilient . Thank you very much for your great advices. This happened 2 years ago. After I applied the No Contact Rule he came and expressed his deep regret for leaving me. He told me that he chose that other person out of anger and anxiety. But I politely advised him to stick with her because she accepted him and if he would leave her , she would be heartbroken like me. I could see the pain in his eyes because I think he doesn't love her.

But he’s genuine and knows how to treat a person and can teach them how to treat eachother right if there’s ever a situation that is getting out of hand he would say something like hey this is getting a little out of hand how about i leave for the night and when you cool off contact me. He’s smart and knows how to make things work not fail plus he wouldn’t attract a person that has 1 million red flags in the begging like most people do. For example a very pretty womens face/body will distract u from seeing or understanding the red flags in the begging by the man saying but she’s so beautiful she’s worth it I’ll never find another beautiful women like her so guys will tolerate and push the red flags to the side in the begging until 6 months to a year later the guys full throttle in love and women’s running all over the guy and the guys like I can’t leave her I love her so much though and boom she discards him. Look at the red flags in the begging those r the main signs of how a person will act always.
Pretty soon everyone will know the no contact tactic but at the same time it really does make a difference when you saturate them with your absence.

Yes it is and I'm a bit confused on the NC rule. An article on Brain Sharper (March 2020) had a section "When Not To Use No Contact" and it quotes Coach Lee as saying, "While many other dating coaches say the no contact rule should be permanent, coach Lee believes there is a time limit. He says, “45 days if the relationship was up to 6 months. After a year it’s somewhere around a month and a half. And beyond that, it’s 2 months or more.”" The article also states, "Lee admits that chances of reconciliation after a break-up are slim once three months have passed." This is where my confusion hangs... Is NC supposed to be absolutely permanent or should we follow what you state in the article and reach out after a certain period of time? It seems as though that if we keep NC for 3 months or more then reconciliation is slim to none so perhaps permanent NC isn't the best solution.
@@ctgeorgia Interesting..I'm going to read that article. I've listen to most of Coach Lee's videos, I too walk away with confusion. It's been 7mos since my break up, during that time we were communicating but not in the right way. It was more of blaming one another...she's been in two relationships now and I'm super confused on that but that another story.

@@SISTAG-wb6bh Conceptually the NC rule makes sense to me. They left you and in reality you shouldn't chase them as it does make you look weak. I've been the dumper before and when the girl begs, grovels, cries and calls/texts every other minute it just pushed me further away. So, the NC concept makes sense. However, how long do you hold out on NC? Is it a permanent thing or do you wait like his article says...45 days if the relationship was 6 mo's, etc. In the end, there's no silver bullet. I got dumped 24 hours ago via text by my now ex and I've barely slept or eaten...just looking for pearls of wisdom on the internet. I wish you luck my friend. It is a horrific feeling...just crushing.

My ex was resentful for quite a few months leading up to the break up. His behaviour changed and he was unpleasant at times yet still caring at other times. I see now he was pushing me towards ending it so he didn’t feel guilty. He still wants to be friends and yet teases me at times with a hug, a kiss, knowing full well it’s hurting me.
It’s hard to do no contact, knowing this could be the end of everything. But his constant early morning messages, the offers of help, is messing with my head. I’d advise anyone to protect yourself. If you’ve broken up then you need to look after yourself. You broke up for a reason.

I agree with most of the points, but I disagree there needs to be any false response, my ex wanted to be friends but I told her clearly that I have the feelings for her and want her to be happy but I can’t continue to be a friend and be available for her as I’m emotionally invested. I told her that I leave her with love and light and focus on detaching completely with her. I felt much lighter and think this helps me heal.

Just saw my ex for the first time in almost 6 months. It was at an AA meeting and we were sitting with two people in between us. We said nothing and she took off right after. I mean it was awkward and I couldn’t stop thinking about her the whole time. I know she must have been thinking of me . We were engaged. I’m pretty sure she is dating someone too. Coach Lee gives excellent advice! I've gotten back with my ex 3x - only reason we aren't together is that her toxic behaviors turned me off this last time so I moved out. She started following me on IG again and we are amicable (20+ history between us), but i Let her come to me if she wants ... I don't chase ... act nonchalant actually! I was talking to a dentist for purposes of marriage. I am a doctor. She didn’t want to compromise her career for family responsibilities/traditional role of a wife. After a few discussions she said it was ok if we split bills and home/family responsibilities.
I finally met her after 4 months when I traveled to her state and 2 of her cousins and a male guardian were there at the meeting. We are religious Muslims and we are pretty conservative in how we meet and interact before marriage. I was originally promised the meeting would be nothing more than an informal gathering and meeting in person. When I arrived, I was character assassinated by her 2 female cousins for having an agreement to share bills. “That’s the man’s responsibility.” The woman later had her opinion swayed by her cousins and said she will not pay any bills but still wants to work full time. She also wanted six figure US dollars mahr (Islamic dowry) and a minimum 3 carat diamond ring. She got super emotional when I wouldn’t bend to her entitled ways and she dumped me.

We have been in a relationship for 2 years and then he turned 21 and started drinking and replacing me with his friends. We had our problems and fought often but we also had a good relationship. We have been over for a month and in no contact for 3 weeks and in a moment of absolute weakness I remembered I had some of his stuff and contacted him. I practiced no contact for the first time ever!!!
She reached out around 60 days since last contact. She suggested friendship, I was clear that was not my intention, nor goal, but I let her lead the initiation of contact after that, I always responded and the consistency and frequency was daily, multiple times of day. It has been two weeks. And today was a tough day, I was thinking I would have some boundary drawing tonight talking to her, and return to no contact. She texted me this evening and asked if she could join for Thanksgiving. A total unexpected turn of events.
