It's great but I still prefer Umanksy bass and Loki 2
To each his own though .. Djinn bass sounds great as well .. just preference

@@MOMetalProductions I think I prefere the raw DI sound of Loki 2 if I'm gonna work with external bass amps.
I also love how clanky UMANKSY bass sounds without any processing
Oh and EURO bass sounds fantastic as well
@MahmoudNader cool! Yeah, they are all amazing IMO. Maybe the Loki 2 DI is a bit brighter? I find I need to boost the brightness up on the DI's of Submission Audio basses before the external amp, at least for this modern metal style mix 😊

I really hate the way they implement articulations. There has to be a more intuitive way.
When, as a bassist, you think someone is gonna teach you to EQ a great bass tone, but instead it's just this crap again

If you're curious about bass eq, I would recommend my video on bass recording. In terms of the more negative side of this comment, I think a great bassist always will sound better than MIDI, especially in a context where the bass is on its own in the mix. The bar has gotten high though, so more is generally required of a bassist in terms of consistency etc nowadays when the MIDI option is so good. But in terms of great bassists becoming obsolete, that I don't think will ever happen.

@@DamianPendragon I get that man. My view is that musicians never will be obsolete. I see it as a way of getting a good production if you are lacking the skill / instrument or for demo purposes.
@@DamianPendragon I'm pretty sure most guitarists would use something like this just to demo their music to other musicians.
