    Hashweh is technically stuffing so it goes especially well with chicken (either broken up chicken or stuffed inside) or stuffed inside quails, zucchini, eggplant, peppers and so on. Nice recipe!

    roast the pine seeds a bit more before mixing them in the rice mixture, they look nicer when lightly browned.

    Wow... Henry this is great. I always thought that "hashweh" is intended for stuffing into things (like grape leaves or vegetables - even super tasty stuffed sheep's tripe and intestines like my Syrian grandma used to make. I guess I'll have to force myself to eat it "unstuffed"! A big like!

    Couple of questions, will it work with lamb mince, and is the rice cleaned and soaked before using? Thanks 🙏

    • @HenrysHowTos
      @HenrysHowTos  5 лет назад +1

      Horse Zanthus yes lamb mince will work! No, long grain generally doesn’t need to be washed/soaked. But if you use basmati, then yes!

    Just a heads up. You SAY to use 1/2 teaspoon of ground Cardamom in the video, but in the description you have written 1/2 a teaspoon of ground TUMERIC.
    Very different tastes... which one is correct?
    Thanks for the recipes, just made your Toum, and it's amazing. Going to go make this now. Looking at other recipes for this it seems it's Cardamom.
