My husband visited me 6 mos. after his death. I told him i can't go on. He said I can & outstretched his arm, grabbed me to pull me to the top of a hill. We stood there admiring the view for a while. Then he was gone. I remember it like it was yesterday...it was over 2 decades ago. RIP. I miss him so.

By your logic demons who are in Hell are more involved in our lives than our brothers and sisters who believed in Jesus Christ who is the Resurrection and Life and who are more alive in Heaven. They dedicated their whole lives serving God, His people and His Church. Also the way you put it makes you look like you still live by the Old Testament. Since you love to quote the OT I really like this one passage from the Old Testament which can be found in *2 Kings 13:20-21*: "Then Elisha died and they buried him. When the body touched Elisha’s bones, the man came alive, stood up, and walked out on his own two feet." Although prophet Elisha was dead God still used him as an instrument to bring about healing in this case raising a dead man back to life. That's why we have relics in the Catholic Church, that's why we believe that God still uses those who were faithful and accepted Christ, lived by His Word and were full of the Holy Spirit who sanctifies us that we may one day join them in Heaven through Christ our Lord and Saviour! Hope this will shed some light and help you understand why we as Catholics pray for eachother the way we do, why we especially pray for the ones that have gone before us and why God still can and does use various means to help us to grow in the love of God and neighbour. I and my wife have a quite similar experiences during our daily Rosary prayer, where my wife can listen audibly the voice of so many souls, relatives, friend even unknown people who request to be prayed to get the mercy from god. Why would anyone believe in purgatory? Everything Jesus accomplished on the cross allows you to go straight to heaven. We can’t be good enough or save ourselves. The blood of Jesus washes you clean of all sins when you repent .

My Nana visited me in a dream not even a month after her death. It was amazing. I spoke to a beautiful soul that has private revelations, and she said that I did in fact get to see her and got to experience what she went through upon dying. It's nuts like falling asleep and then waking up falling into a dark wet tunnel like a old deep well. Then falling to the bottom and seeing this scary figure jumping from shaft to shaft getting closer and closer. I couldn't move. I was stuck where I fell. I was a child again. Then I hear a soft voice calling my name with a light and asking me to take their hand and I reach for them and they pulled me up and out of that scary place. Then I was brought to a beautiful bright like early morning court yard garden I could see beautiful stone benches and a huge old stone white church with huge beautiful wooden doors to the church. I hear the church bells starting to chime and I know it's time to go inside. I have a thick bible black leather binding book in my hand. I rise from the bench and open the door and go in and it was bright and I could hear latin hymns and smell perfume. Then I wake up and my pillow was ripped by the seems.

My son passed last year will i see him when i go! I long to see him again my heart has been broken by the things that have happened to him and he blames me for not having looked after him. .this is when he was a child and he only told me this before he died from a heart attack brought on by his addiction to Butane gas tins, not hard drugs. You might want to have a couple more Masses offered for your MIL. When souls in Purgatory appear to the living, they usually ask to have three Masses said so they can be released. Some souls may need more, but they seem to need at least three.

I'm in UK, we have some wonderful African priests. The one in my parish currently is particularly gifted. Once he gave me a very disapproving look. I knew instantly it was because of a sin I had commited the previous week. So I set about remedying what I did. The next week at mass he smiled and said 'it is good to see you'. And: Mark 5:39 "Jesus saw a commotion, with people crying and wailing loudly. 39 He went in and said to them, “Why all this commotion and wailing? The child is not dead but asleep.” And: John 14:2. "My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you?. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am". Conclusion based on what the Bible says: Those who have died are asleep in the grave waiting for the return of Christ. Nobody goes to Heaven, or Hell, or Purgatory immediately upon death. There is no need to pray for the dead, they do not hear you. The Final Judgement will decide their fate. This is Biblical but contrary to what the church teaches. Pray for God's guidance and strength to help you daily.

He told me that the Angel of the Lord allowed me to come back to tell you something, which he did. Best practice is to pray for the souls of your parent for the rest of your days, as you have no assurance that they have been admitted to Heaven. That goes for all of us and our respective loved ones. On occasion, God makes people aware that their loved ones are in Heaven, or in Purgatory and in need of more prayers, but that is rare.

Those who died in Christ are alive and since Christ Himself commanded us to pray for eachother those who see the Beatific Vision continue to do so in Heaven. "Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us." - *Hebrews 12:1* as it says in *Revelations 5:8* "And when he had taken the scroll, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb, each holding a harp, and with golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints."
Since Jesus gave the Apostles authority to distribute His grace upon the afflicted who were either sick or possesed (we can see it throughout the New Testament), God healing through St. Paul where they even took Paul's handkerchefs that touched his body and took them to the sick to get healed, God uses those who lived and died in Christ to intercede and pray for us.
By your logic demons who are in Hell are more involved in our lives than our brothers and sisters who believed in Jesus Christ who is the Resurrection and Life and who are more alive in Heaven. They dedicated their whole lives serving God, His people and His Church. Also the way you put it makes you look like you still live by the Old Testament.
Since you love to quote the OT I really like this one passage from the Old Testament which can be found in *2 Kings 13:20-21*: "Then Elisha died and they buried him. Some time later, raiding bands of Moabites, as they often did, invaded the country. One day, some men were burying a man and spotted the raiders. They threw the man into Elisha’s tomb and got away. When the body touched Elisha’s bones, the man came alive, stood up, and walked out on his own two feet."
Although prophet Elisha was dead God still used him as an instrument to bring about healing in this case raising a dead man back to life. That's why we have relics in the Catholic Church, that's why we believe that God still uses those who were faithful and accepted Christ, lived by His Word and were full of the Holy Spirit who sanctifies us that we may one day join them in Heaven through Christ our Lord and Saviour!
Hope this will shed some light and help you understand why we as Catholics pray for eachother the way we do, why we especially pray for the ones that have gone before us and why God still can and does use various means to help us to grow in the love of God and neighbour. May God bless you!

I and my wife have a quite similar experiences during our daily Rosary prayer, where my wife can listen audibly the voice of so many souls, relatives, friend even unknown people who request to be prayed to get the mercy from god. We did the prayers, closed by mass celebration. It is our job as faithfull person to pray each other even for those who has deceased..

Why would anyone believe in purgatory? Everything Jesus accomplished on the cross allows you to go straight to heaven. We can’t be good enough or save ourselves. The blood of Jesus washes you clean of all sins when you repent .

My Nana visited me in a dream not even a month after her death. It was amazing. I spoke to a beautiful soul that has private revelations, and she said that I did in fact get to see her and got to experience what she went through upon dying. It's nuts like falling asleep and then waking up falling into a dark wet tunnel like a old deep well. Then falling to the bottom and seeing this scary figure jumping from shaft to shaft getting closer and closer. I couldn't move. I was stuck where I fell. I was a child again. Then I hear a soft voice calling my name with a light and asking me to take their hand and I reach for them and they pulled me up and out of that scary place. Then I was brought to a beautiful bright like early morning court yard garden I could see beautiful stone benches and a huge old stone white church with huge beautiful wooden doors to the church. I hear the church bells starting to chime and I know it's time to go inside. I have a thick bible black leather binding book in my hand. I rise from the bench and open the door and go in and it was bright and I could hear latin hymns and smell perfume. Then I wake up and my pillow was ripped by the seems.
Thank you for reminding us of God’s everlasting Love and Mercy. Mother Mary, teach me not to judge others only to be mindful of my sinfulness and need for conversion. Please move me to pray for any of my family in purgatory ❤

My son passed last year will i see him when i go! I long to see him again my heart has been broken by the things that have happened to him and he blames me for not having looked after him. .this is when he was a child and he only told me this before he died from a heart attack brought on by his addiction to Butane gas tins, not hard drugs. He had made many suicide attempts... all failed but his heart gave out in the end .. i wonder what he felt like before passing he was found 3/4 and days later by his friend he was alone in bed..he had our Most Holy Mother's metal on him that I gave him the truly believed in his faith...and 🙏 prayed ... Question: I have a friend and her husband who both passed away. They did not practice, the family does not practice faith, but as I loved her as an older sister, I have had two Masses said for her and was able to attend the Masses.
If a life is lead without any acknowledgement of the Holy Trinity, best to ask a priest

You might want to have a couple more Masses offered for your MIL. When souls in Purgatory appear to the living, they usually ask to have three Masses said so they can be released. Some souls may need more, but they seem to need at least three.

I'm in UK, we have some wonderful African priests. The one in my parish currently is particularly gifted. Once he gave me a very disapproving look. The word trinity is not there but the concept is. Purgatory is an invention of the Roman Catholic Church. Also it’s not possible to contact people who have died, they’re contacting demons.

The son is his messenger Yeshuah and the holy spirit is God that resides within us all. Don't twist it to fit a religious indoctrination narrative. It is all about the spiritual journey that leads to faith. That means that we are all one with the creator. Your trinity separates the one from the whole. It is a spiritual thing not a religious thing. There is a profound difference in the two. One separates us through indoctrination and false interpretation, while the other unites us all as one.

I have been going to church and listening to many different ministries and studied the Bible. And: Mark 5:39 "Jesus saw a commotion, with people crying and wailing loudly. 39 He went in and said to them, “Why all this commotion and wailing? The child is not dead but asleep.” And: John 14:2. "My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you?. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am". Conclusion based on what the Bible says: Those who have died are asleep in the grave waiting for the return of Christ. Nobody goes to Heaven, or Hell, or Purgatory immediately upon death. There is no need to pray for the dead, they do not hear you. The Final Judgement will decide their fate. This is Biblical but contrary to what the church teaches. Pray for God's guidance and strength to help you daily.
Pray with faith hope and charity. God is Lord of time so it never too late even to pray for the deceased long gone. At judgment God accounts for everything, even prayers not offered til a future date are known by Him. God guide you on your pilgrimage to reach Truth.

Unless God allows it. I man I worked with died. He came to me in a dream, shining, youthful and healthy. He told me that the Angel of the Lord allowed me to come back to tell you something, which he did. He prepared me 2 years before a major turning point in my life....the terminal cancer and death throes my father would go through. It all came true exactly as he told me.
Amen they are demons my son saw his grandfather who died just staring at him next to the TV when he got up to come in the kitchen where we were he said it was ice cold he was petrified.
