The 745C is the overall best off-road vehicle in the entire game. It can pull other vehicles and/or loads in the absolute worst terrain. Its only weakness* is that it is simply too big for some areas. I like the 745C, the semi and then the telehandler. The 745C, 420, F750, and the Tayga make Snowrunner function efficiently.
@Blues Fan Yeah, the WS 6900 TS and the NI 5600 TS are really good. The 6900 and the Kolob in particular are special in that they can do things that no other truck can do. 6900 = 4 Cargo slots Kolob = Super heavy trailer (any cargo+any terrain)

The cat 770 is a great idea for a vehicle, although being a conventional rock truck, it doesn’t have many uses other than hauling water, rocks, dirt, etc. but it should still have more custom trailers, such as the low-loader these trucks sometimes have in real life. The cat 770 still isn’t useless in this game, it weighs a lot and could be a decent recovery vehicle, also it’s clearly great off-road. I love the 770.
The CT680 is such a let down. A modern truck shouldn’t be shown up by an old truck yet the White Western Star is a better truck in every way. We need lifted suspension and bigger tires on the CT680
My friend used and loves that truck. He does say it’s nearly unusable because the suspension is bugged where if you hook up a trailer or even sometimes no trailer the entire back of the truck just drags against the ground as if the back suspension is broken. I don’t know if it’s platform wide or just consoles. But a suspension kit to raise it some after they fix the bug would really help the truck out and also open the ability to have slightly larger tires. Not sure the size it has now. But maybe they were going for a highway truck heavy truck hybrid sort of thing so it’s not that great at rough off-roading but can haul a good sized load.
Why are you surprised? Things were built better 40 years ago. The White Western Star is great simply for it's wide frame that makes it more stable than the other trucks of it's size, even without huge mud tires.
The only CATs i use are 745G and CT681 wich is a better version of CT680. 745G is my favorite truck in the game and CT681 is also very good. The 770G and TH357 i don't know. For me 775G is the best CAT for sure,no truck i used has this stability and supreme power.
Don’t listen to Anthony. The CT680 is the best truck in its segment. Drive what you like. I personally lean on the Voron AE, the Azov 64131, and the Tayga but I try to use as many trucks as possible. I have a large fleet of Vehicles I keep spread out to make missions less painful. The 745 made the Train hauling mission a breeze.
You need 770 for few contracts and can use it as a mobile fuel station afterwards. It can handle it self and ewen tow in mud for the most part, but yeah, might be better off selling it after delivering all the rocks.
I was right about the caterpillar winning. BTW you got the gas wrong like 745C has 90 gallons not 350. And for the hill test the 745C and 770G can't pull enything so you got that wrong and on the mud pit you got rid of the fork thing so that would win if the left it on it would not have won and got a dnf

Don't get me wrong, SD1One is pretty good, but, these videos are better.

I would still use the 745C because it doesn't get caught on things as easily
suspension test should be: how much damage trucks will take crossing, not which trucks is fastest to cross. damage will ruin your journey

That's the problem with the game as a whole, once you have Wesrern Star and P16, you don't really need any other.

The only CATs i use are 745G and CT681 wich is a better version of CT680.

@@demoncore5342 754 is better than the 770 because of its 71 inch wheels making it almost impossible to get stuck and it has the medium log frame

It’s in liters, not gallons. As for the hill tests you can still pull things with the winch so 770 and 745 are perfectly fine participating

I prefer these tests over SD’s as SD rushes out videos and they usually have several errors or mistakes.
