@@delbertmcgee5377 ..Its only necessary to put the wheels down on the 49X to keep it from tipping over. Especially when carrying something heavy. (Fuel tank add on etc)
It's one of my favourite trucks now. Yeah it May not be the absolute best, can't have addons and tips over alot 😄 but i still use it everytime It's possible
I got a very balanced tweak for it that adds small crane and op things only if u wanna cheat... it even can take long logs. But in vanilla i haven't tried it a lot, but it's a very cool truck for sure.
The Twinsteer is good in certain situations but in a lot of situations it's just too damn big. Haven't tried with AWD yet and I'm looking forward to it. I use the 49X quite a lot for small quick runs and I used it to pull a stuck P12 out of the mud. Towed the 745c too. The White Western Star was my go to for a long time. Still use it from time to time. Love the long frame on it and with AWD and diff it rarely gets stuck. ... J
The fact that the 49x has overfenders that you can't take off in the front for super singles, but duals never come with a super single front tire in snowrunner, I guess it just bothers me. Almost the local vocational truckers I work with run super singles up front and duals in the rear, and noone has thought to put this in snowrunner yet.
I find the 6900 the most useful by far. I sold my 4964 before canada came out and as fir the 49x, i rate that lower than the ws as it really isn't worth 3 euro and an extra bit of in game cash on top of that considering how close the white western star was to it in each challenge and that truck is free.
I may sell my 49x. I tried to haul some long logs but couldnt move out of the pick-up area due to the mud, even with Diff-Lock on! Needs mud tires badly!!
I prefer the old white 4964 over the two other, it just look so cool, the 49x and his dead axle is a big no for me and the twinsteer is another thing you can't compare as it is vers specific. With the 6900 you can carry 4 points and no trailer but the drawback, according to me is the lack of good steering (plus he is quite tippy)
I liked the twin steer but for the tight narrow roads!!!! ??? I sold it for what I needed most to get more jobs done. Once I get the money back tho I will buy the twin star again and up grade it and use it once in a while for some jobs. I wish the developers added ramps to load another vehicle on it flat bed of the twin star then it would be a op vehicle for me
I just wish they would give the 49X a powered second axle like in real life and get rid of the lift axle, or make that an option. You can configure it in a ton of different ways in real life. I’ve seen one with no drop axle, I’ve seen one with dual drop axles with smaller tires, and I’ve seen one with 3 normal drive axles in the rear (6x8) with locking diffs
@BabooWik Yes?! I didn't even pay attention. I have Geforce Experience. I just need to take a closer look at me. Thanks! I am subscribed to you, from time to time I follow your videos. You are developing cool, soon 1000 subscribers))😉👍
I think the 49x looks kinda funny at some angles and it's suspension is WAY to soft, sometimes when steering it will catch the steering wheels and yank them to the side completely stupid looking and immersion breaking.
I've seen this in other videos. WHY are you using offroad gearbox for road races and dirt races. Offroad gearbox is mildly useful in deeper mud/swamp, otherwise use high range gearbox for fast times.
ever since twin steer got AWD its unstoppable now for the most part
You forgot to put all the wheels down the twins dealer 49x

I've had this game since it came out and I'm still in love with the look of the White Western Star such a beautiful truck
My favourite truck in this game
Im not paying £4 for something that has a set of wheels that literally do nothing, very helpful video. Your channels awsome🤟🏻
Guess the realism factor dosent matter at all they shoulda just took the wheels off the truck just for you
They should've put the sleeper and a larger fuel tank on instead, it'd be a good long hauler.
Actually a droppable spare axle is better for weight distribution, so it helps with downhill braking and grip
WS twin streer is probably one of the most pactical free truck you can get and since it got the awd option it's unstoppable
The only issue is tight turns but other then that its perfect
Be carefull with some places,it is not stable when carries cargo.
The place where i like to use it the most is Alaska.
In other words, if you have the room use the Twinsteer, if not use the 49X.
Gotta love the og mudrunner horn on the white western star
The most underrated truck in snowrunner...
My favourite one is the ws 6900 twinsteer because he is the most useful truck between the other trucks of the video

Or as I like to call it the WS Tipsteer and 6900 is the number on times it will roll over.
Conclusion: 49x is a good allrounder
*Laughs in Tayga*
Yep, good only, Russians play in different tier, they're op!
Where does the 49x come from?
@@TheLegendBrolySS America
@@twinsnails4983 is it in the buy list?? Never saw it or just keep overlooking it.

I'm wanting to try the twinsteer with stock tires, no loft and awd.
I’m a Western Star fan boy so all three are my go-to American trucks. Just wish I could get my boss to buy one so I can drive one for real…
I like how no one talks about the 49x coming close or most of the time beating the white western star
The 4964 ist my workhorse.
The 49x does exactly what its discription claim it does it is a very good all around truck not much more not much less
I think the ice test would have a different outcome if you used weight over the axles on the 4964 and the 49x instead of the trailer
Good Video im sub and like👍👍👍👍💪💪im pacific p16 fansss

Taiga, realy easy to take at begining. WS 6900 is a must have.
For the twinsteer if you’re only carrying 1 cargo, put it further back. It puts weight in the rear wheels helping it with traction.
It doesn’t matter if you have the AWD for it though honestly
You should have changed the suspension settings on the 49X. Once the extra axel isn't retracted it probably could do that mud pit @ 7:36
I did that, but the effect was the same.
@@BabooWik I see. Thanks for letting me know.
Extra axel it has only helped me with a little more stability, but most of the time it is either useless or annoying.

It is quite tippy, but driving in first person view gives more precision and helps a lot to avoid tipping over.
4 cargo trips with fast travel! That addon you need to left behind is what justify the drawbacks. Just keep yourself in main roads.
Well the twin steer is an oil Field truck.. so yeah. One of the most rugged

The thing about that dead axle is when you drop it it raises the rear and dips the front end makes it worse in mud in my experience a little annoying
Cool content filming bro. What kind of camera do you use when the background is blurred?
NVIDIA Freestyle, within the Geforce Experience application.

Why have the twin steers load all the way to the front? It would have done better with the load to the rear.
Unless you manually load it, the game places cargo in front, then back.
It doesn’t matter that much if you have AWD, loading it at the front just puts weight on the front drive axles...
@@jessaphillips2846 For something as big and as powerful as the Twinsteer, load weight in the game doesn't usually matter.
The 49x never ever helped me in any way it always got stuck because that damned set of wheels😂
47 inch tires, and no mudtire options? No thanks.
