I ordered an enjoypbt abs set to try and was highly impressed with the quality, amount of colorways, and being in stock. My one and only bone to pick would be the dolch set I ordered only came with the swooped f and j. If they made sets with the other f and j that would be huge and I'd probably only use enjoypbt. Great vid as always Lewis much love.
The enjoypbt keycaps sounded deeper through my headphones
and the cheap pbt set sounded higher pitched i think

I'm just gonna leave this here, make it what you will. I bought a set of EPBT ABS Miami Nights caps. First time spending big money on a set of caps and i had interference on the a, d and f keys (south facing). Even on most of my long pole switches (KTT Rose, COW, Purple Pandas) it would still interfere. It only works on my Durock POMs for some reason.
Loved the higher pitched sound of the ABS, but i'll never spend more than 40e on a set anymore, that's for sure.
Hey Lewis, are the legends on the epbt set similar in thickness all around or do a few legends come out a little bit thinner

I've tried epbt's abs offering and i kind of dig their higher pitched sound! sadly I sold them since I'm too afraid of them getting shiny over long period of gaming, even though i like equally shined abs caps lol! probably going to buy a taihao set just to use along with my pbt set when im bored
I'll start with the fact that I love the caps from epbt and their pleasant feeling of roughness, which is very well felt during printing, but if you speak objectively and more rationally, the sound differs by no more than a couple of tones and it makes no sense to buy expensive caps in a cheap build because the sound will not get better, and this feeling of roughness does not play such a big role and not everyone likes it, therefore, apart from the packaging that you take a look at once, the bottom of the keycap, as for me, is not worth changing, so I would choose based on the cost of the build itself

@@dedelabinouze5110 you were looking for a solution to the problem on r / mechanical keyboards?, I didn’t read much, but it seems that the problem is similar and it was solved using a paper mod
@@user-vp1xs9fp1i I know about it, but i mean come on, for a fairly expensive set, having to jam a piece of paper to the bottom of the cap to prevent interference while looking janky af because the caps have different heights is just unacceptable. Sold the set promptly.

I just prefer how pbt sounds on the kbd67 lite personally. I tried both gmk and pbt on mine personally and its that board in particular that pbt sounds better to me.

I'm not a big fan of the epbt spacebar sound but everything else seems good. If these both were the same price I would still probably go for the cheap ones.

EPBT sounded deeper, cheap PBT sounds higher pitch. Both sounds okay, I prefer the EPBT.
A warped spacebar is pretty much a +5 diceroll. Seems like 50/50 until you get more than 2 sets in a row that have warped spacebars

I never really liked GMK anyways the one set i have had a warped spacebar with one of the arrows on the arrow cap missing a point lol it seemed like the ABS melted on half of the arrow and the "h" on one of the shift keys was all fussy looking. I have never had an issue with the Akko caps though and other knock off sets I bought from AliExpress those were PBT....might just had bad luck but it doesnt matter now I wont buy GMK again
