When my son purchased his 1st car I sat down with him and taught some key things first how to clean then I had him read the owners from cover to cover then we determine the location of his spare tire and jack and he practiced changing the tire you wouldn’t believe how that helped him in a time of need

Thanks for your comment. As to cleaning the engine compartment, it's really a quick light rinse, and stay away from spraying water on the alternator, and spark plug area. You can do a quick drive after to help dry it.

The touch up paint I used is a general white color and not exact match. If you want exact match, you have to buy it from the dealer. Give them your VIN, and they can tell you what color it has.

Yes it is. Just don't use high pressure water and cover the alternator. Also don't spray directly at the coils. It's a simple scrub and rinse.

Just for aesthetics. But it doesn't hurt to check your engine bay once in a while to get familiar and see you have any problems like oil leak.

You forgot the other side of the rims. you need to do that part when you do tire rotation, putting the car on four jack stand.
