2:48 Link’s onion ring critique is well founded this time. I too lament at the fact that many an onion ring that has passed through my mouth has suffered the same infuriating fate.
Erik C 'Piano Man' Honestly, it's why I eat onion rings with a fork (and knife too depending on if I can "cut" the onion ring with my fork or not). It completely changes the experience of eating one though. Much less sharable at a table and makes it a lot less appetizer-y too!
I actually can't think of another veggie that's commonly fried with batter/tempura/etc that has this problem as bad as onions either? Eggplant parmesan can lose it's breading easily too, but that's more due to eggplants being so watery...

I’m rewatching this (randomly) in July 2022 and I’ve gotta say, the slightly darker tone of humor in this episode is SO much funnier and entertaining than modern GMM! I hope they go back to this style.
I’d love to see an episode where they are both shown a picture and are given a certain amount of time to recreate the picture by drawing/painting. The persons who recreated the most accurate recreation of the original photo wins that round.
No I don’t mean Pictionary. I’ll give an example of what I mean: Stevie shows Rhett and link a picture of a Bob Ross painting. Both Rhett and link have to try and paint that picture in a certain amount of time. Then they decide whose painting looks the closest to the original mountain picture. The person whose painting is closest to the original gets a point.

OMG guys c'mon. The hula burger was just a ploy by an owner to get the company to agree to the fish fillet sandwich. He submitted two proposals and the deal was, whichever did better in sales during a limited time event, got on the menu.
the mcdonalds by me had the fried pie growing up, they were one of the few locations that kept them after the switch in 92. had them until like 2009, miss them so much.
