- Listen to those engines scream as Air Canada (AC7) 777-300ER rotates from Vancouver's 26L. Business class, seat 7A en route to Hong Kong! Amazing GE90 engine sounds, on this long and heavy takeoff.
Please do not use sounds without permission.
Enjoy
Best 777 sound on RUclips. That reduction is pure eargasm
Reduction?
Wait no I get it, around 2:20 as someone else pointed out
You think that 777 reduction is good ? Go to ruclips.net/video/C5dIrEYmqPI/видео.html and skip to 2:58 it is literally awesome
@@jetstream454 It's called a thrust de-rate that occurs after takeoff at some stage, in layman's terms..its when the aircraft transitions to the pre-determined climb thrust setting, so you hear a slight reduction in power :) This also serves to preserve engine life too. Hope this makes sense 👌🏻
Incredible thrust on takeoff! Those GE90's emit a glorious scream
+smoshjkl Love those engines!!!
it's the triple turbine creates crazy resonance
2:20
CLB thrust. This sound is INSANE.😍😍😍
Friends: what kind of music do you listen to?
Me: it’s complicated
Sten Brakstad, Same 🤣
Thats why we are all here
I'm like in tears rn because of how much this comment relates to me,
thank you
I never, never, never, never get tired of listening to those ladies sing.
Just flew on an Emirates 777-ER for the first time - Newark, NJ to Athens, Greece, and i'll never forget the raw thrust and power taking off! Even with a full airplane! I cannot imagine a full power takeoff with an empty airplane!
@DizziestPerson Not sure, actually. I wonder if Emirates uses 200's or 300's for the EWR to ATH route?
@@AudiophileTubes They use 300ERs for their ATH flights
2:20 that throttle reduction is just 🤤
Great GE90 sound!
+HD Aviation Videos ✈ Couldn't agree more! Especially as she rotates and you can really hear that buzzing sound! Thanks for watching!!
+AvgeekYVR definitely a great capture! you'll find similar videos in my channel. Thanks for sharing
+HD Aviation Videos ✈ for sure!! You have some great videos!! Have been subscribed for a while now :-)
+AvgeekYVR Great! Thanks
+HD Aviation Videos ✈ love the roar from those GE90's!! Especially as she rotates!! Thanks for watching!! :)
1:02 The best start ever
That was intense, all I can think of when I see this is the insane amount of G-force I felt the one time I flew the 77W.
It’s awesome right!?
@@avgeekyvr It is awesome, though the slight whiplash it gave me wasn't so awesome, but overall it was totally awesome!
Most g-force I’ve ever felt on a commercial flight was probably on the 757-200. Ridiculous acceleration and climb rate.
@@ecoRfan cool
@@ChrisZoomER Yeah I have a video of UA2124 with unit N41140. Had to be one of the most intense takeoffs I've ever experienced.
Now there’s a plane you don’t want to get stuck behind. Still rotated in less than 40 seconds. Absolute Goliath takeoff.
ecoRfan even though she was heavy, the GE90s are a freaking beast and doesn’t care
Considering the FOB of a 777-300er is heavy. I’ve bern in a 777-300 with trent 892s with 396 pax layout full flight it took over 45 seconds with a heavy takeoff while this ge 90 just busts over the sky
@@marcosundah4698 longest takeoffs I remember were all on the 737 series. One of them is on my channel: AA1229 DFW to EWR on a 737-800 in 2016. The other not surprisingly was in Denver, during the summertime, on a Continental 737-300 in 2003. Also a Continental 737-900ER Orlando to Newark in 2010 rolled long and accelerated slowly. I only started recording takeoffs in 2015.
The one time I flew on a 777 it was a -200ER on AZ610 from Rome to New York in July 2018, and I have video of it. That was probably one of the shorter takeoffs I’ve experienced time-wise, clocking in at 30 seconds from maxing thrust to liftoff for the loaded 8.5 hour flight. A loaded -300ER will generally need more runway than a loaded -200ER if they are on the same route.
@@marcosundah4698 I got 39 seconds from maxing thrust to liftoff here. Definitely longer, but for its weight, not bad. This was going all the way to HKG.
Yup. 125,000 lbs od thrust produced. That's even greater than what the engine of an F-16 could give.
My dude just got the best ge90 sound
2:21
Always gives me chills
🤤🤤🤤🤤
1:02 that spool tho...
Then you add 01:50
those engines are screaming like crazy!
Right!? You can really hear and feel the power especially when she starts to rotate!! Music to my ears :P Glad you enjoyed!! :) thanks for watching!!
*singing like crazy
What a sound!! Everyone sitting at the window in front of the GE90 should be obliged to film and post it!
I have never heard a GE90 as high pitched as this! Incredible video and sound
The GE90-115B engines can actually spin faster than in the video. These engines were doing around 2400 RPM at takeoff.
they can spin faster. look up “aeroflot 777 go around,” you’ll find a video where the engines spin faster than this
This is around 98% N1
You can hear when the Thrust Reduction Height is reached and the engine decreases power to (probably) Climb-2. (2:20)
Cut back on power is orgasmic
Whenever I heard this as a noob flyer I thought the engine was about to die along with me.
Awesome thrust reduction sound 👍🏻👍🏻
This is the next best sound compared too the C5 Galaxy's old engines.
Totally agree!!
Il-76 with D-30KP engines sound better than G5 Galaxy imho
The RR 757 is the best sounding passenger jet.
No, the best sounding engines are the old JT9D's on the 1st gen 747's IMHO.
The GE90s sounds great!
1:00 THE GE-90 ROAR!!!!!!
This is the music I meditate to...
That GE90 sounds angry. Raw power!
a symphony to my ears
AMAZING ENGINE
+Wings Avia Pretty awesome eh?
Wow, that sound!
The best video so far
the throttle down is so epic
Those GE90's 😭😭✈
The General Electric GE-90-115B's sound at their best at full power!
Look at the size of that engine...sweet jebus its a monster!
As large as the fuselage of a Boeing 737
The GE90 reminds me of a Valenta HST. A beautiful sleek machine howling into the sunset shaking the ground.
Love the sound
How many people were beating on snare drums during taxi? 😂
Seriously though: great video! The short time between rotation and throttle pullback is a testament to how much brute force those engines put out!
With 2 GE90 engine firing to produce 230 000 lb of thrust, it's fear to say it's pretty loud!
2:20 uuh.. so nice sound
2:20 power reduction from TO to CLB, so the engine doesn't damage itself for any folks who thought it was dying.
whats TO ?
@@joegoldberg1543”take off” mode
Thanks for your recoding
At 2:20
Me when 5 years old: Oh my, has the engine stopped?!?
I would always get scared I don’t know why haha
6 yr old me thought that the engine has stopped
@Vikrant yeeees so wierd. When I was little I held my moms hand on takeoff
Yeah this engine kicks ass! Most powerful turbofan jet engine in the world!
1:10 oh shit…!
GE90
Sounded so good that my broken headphones fixed themselves
Am i the only one who used to get a little bit freaked out when the pilots lowered the thrust?
Gotta flex them engines
Skip to 1:05 to hear the music my friends
amazing noise
Lovely sound
The last couple of flights I've been on haven't done full power take offs! They were short and at half power, which is disappointing!
Hot day and a full plane they’ll feed her plenty of jandal
Absolute perfectiooon
B777 is the best✨🔥🔥
"HIGHWAY TO THE DANGER ZONE!"
Pure Eargasm at 2:20 °O°
2:27 is nice
Idk why when I was younger and on a plane I thought the plane I was on was going down at 2:20
WOW AMAZING
That looked like the first scene from "Top Gun."!!!!
one of those engines has more power than all 4 of a 707's engines combined.
I Swear ! 4 GE90's should be used in Lockheed Martin C5 Galaxies..
Actualy i think that much power would be enough for antonov 225^^;
@@thelatiosmaster I checked and comparing the ge90 to the engines on the an225 4 would be enough and it'd still fly pretty well with 2 if 2 fail
@@benedekhalda-kiss9737
No wonders
Thanks man ^^
I wonder what the GE90x will sound like
I heard it when the 777x did a taxi test. Sounds like the GE90. But better.
@@Bregott07 more noisy or not
*Me when takeoff:* WHAT IS THAT SOUND!?
*GE-90:* reeeeeeeeeeEeEeeEeEeEeEEeEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
GE90💪
the sound is like the tornado siren 🚨
1:02 :)
2:21 🥵🥵🥵
My computer does this every night
Why sound of the engine changed
thrust reduction to decrease engine wear
2:21 end of TOGA
That's a very quite engine even at full power. About how long did it take to reach cruising Alt?
Christofer Riche I agree
@@323railfan4 😁
Rolls Royce for days
I thought the engine stopped at 2:20 when I was 6 yr old
That is how I sound after a trip to mexican food restaurant.
It was Sounds Like a GEnx
Can i use sound? :)
Full Power Takeoff? - they seldom do full power takeoff!
Tbh sounds more like a broken circular saw
At 2:21 minutes engine sound is change
What is the reason?
It was set to Climb power.
thrust reduction from full power (TO/GA)
Damn son
Anybody knows if there particular thrust was over the 84%?
yes, i would guess over 100% at the takeoff before the thrust reduction
Caution: wake turbulence
hate the rattle
this wasnt full power though..
Really
Thats what everyone says. They just tryna be buzzkills.
GE 90: AAAaaaaaaAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
IAE V2500: BRBRRBRBRBRBRBRBRBRBRBRBRBRBRRBRBRBRBR.
Whats the difference?
Singapore Airlines
It's like a male banshee
Swishwash Island British Columbia Canada Desert Mole
This > porn.
I doubt this was full power. More like 90-95%.
A little loud
YOU FOKIN WOT MATE
Passengers not aware of thrust reduction noise 💩💩😂
GE sounds whack compared to RR.
Like a washing machine Vs Rolls Royce buzz saw.
