    Another excellent video. The scenes in Grayling at the depot and Otsego Lake are very cool. 👍🏻

    very cool coverage of switching ops vs the usual "fly by" shots in most railfanning videos. Well done.

      Thanks for the feedback. I appreciate it! Stay tuned, I have some beautiful drone footage of them working some of the Grayling industries.

    That is a small sensation. 💥💥💥I've been waiting for Grayling Tour for a long time. The last time I saw a complete ride was 6 years ago at DIB. This route has done it to me. Otsego Lake and Frederick. And others.😇😇 A lot has happened in Gaylord in recent years, infrastructure and much more. Does LSRC 1/0 also go to Gaylord? Your labelling is brilliant. In German this means, that was a treat.❤Thank in the friends from Andreas 👨‍✈👍👍👍

      Thank you for the kind words Andreas! Expect more videos covering operations and trains in the Grayling and Gaylord areas. A friend and I just shot some beautiful, rarely seen operations footage.

    Nice! I chased train 304 last night and saw you posted the Gaylord run again yesterday. Had I known it was running I would've probably went for it instead. Been awhile since I saw 4325 lol.

      They run regularly Tues & Thurs. On duty at 3:00pm at 4 Mile Rd. Power is kept south/east of the Xing beside SRM. Keep the scanner handy, sometimes they’ll go straight north, sometimes they’ll work the far end of the yard, sometimes they’ll set out the Stella Jones empties by the grayling depot. It varies. Typically go north between 3-5pm

      @@toddfeldpausch9489 Thank you for the info, I take it everything north of Grayling is all 25mph? I thought in an old video I saw the Gaylord job could get up to 30-40mph but that was awhile ago so not sure if anything changed.

    • @toddfeldpausch9489

      @@HuronRailProductions speeds are 20 mph from the west end of the yard to just north of Grayling where the tracks begin to parallel Old 27, then 25 mph to just south of the AL spur, and 10 mph on the spur.

      You’re welcome Robert!
      Stay tuned. There is another one coming Friday (7pm) that I feel is a beautiful, and more thorough, compliment to this one.

      Thanks Mark! They sure do. Stay tuned, work is progressing on 2 more videos from up there with hopefully more after that. There’s still a good deal of areas I’d like to film on that portion of the mackinaw subdivision.😉

    I occasionally wonder if those No Trespassing warnings apply to air-space.
    Do you ever worry that flying the drone over RR property could be trouble?

    • @toddfeldpausch9489
      @toddfeldpausch9489  Месяц назад

      Those are NFZ’s.
      99% of “no trespassing” warnings are there for outsiders physical safety so they do not wander onto private property and get injured. It’s cheaper for a business to throw law enforcement and the courts at trespassers than to be sued by them. Though I am still very selective what I show the public when I’m filming the railroad, workers, and businesses served.

    How often does the trains run between grayling and Gaylord?

    • @toddfeldpausch9489
      @toddfeldpausch9489  Месяц назад

      Typically Tuesdays and Thursdays, but not always. This week they ran Wednesday and Thursday.

    So, I take it that they rarely go into "downtown" Gaylord anymore ??

    • @toddfeldpausch9489
      @toddfeldpausch9489  Месяц назад

      Not at all, that I’m aware of. For all I intents and purposes, the A&L spur is the operational end of the line. In fact, the switch at the main is always locked & lined onto the A&L spur.

      @user-mr3ct1dm9p Месяц назад

      Thanks for the quick reply. I wonder why they didn't leave those 6 gons on that passing track under I-75, rather than take them all the way to Gaylord and back??

    • @toddfeldpausch9489
      @toddfeldpausch9489  Месяц назад +1

      @@user-mr3ct1dm9p you’re welcome. They often set out the Stella Jones high side & bathtub gons in the siding near the grayling depot between the golf course and Au Sable River. I think it all depends on train lengths going north AND south if they take them north or drop them for later pick up in grayling. Setting them out in grayling is two extra moves so it makes more sense to take them along.
