Great compilation Todd. Many years ago the Blue Water Michigan Chapter of the NRHS would sponsor a Fall Color Tour. Up the CN Holly Sub to Durand Then east on the Flint Sub. They would park the train under the bridge. You then went into what used to he The Thomas Edison Inn for lunch. The train then went down the Mount Clemens Sub around Milwaukee Junction and back up the Holly Sub to the old Birmingham Depot to unload passengers. It was always a great trip.
Thanks! There is not much to document any more since Dunn shut down in 2022 and trains no longer go to the riverfront. The train runs on a very infrequent as-needed schedule now to serve CDW.

Wow that sounds great! Too bad they don’t still do that.
Great video! It's nice to see other railfans documenting this line. It's a hidden jem.

Wonderful Documenting. ❤ Thank from Andreas 👨✈👍👍👍
Thank you Andreas. I’m glad you enjoyed it. Have a wonderful day!
Miss you down on the old Great Lakes central railroad come back and video a few more😊
Thanks! I’ll be back. Hopefully the Yuma line will be running trains again when I return.
good stuff, thanks!
Glad you enjoyed it. Thanks for checking it out!
Well done! Great compilation of a unique segment. Sad to see Dunn paper gone now. Love the addition of the maps!
Thank you my friend! My only regret is that you and I didn’t get drone shots along the St Clair.
Hmm, I guess the FRA doesn't advise teaching the Captain's Salute (one long and two short). 😅
The paper mill is gone now I hear, so a lot less traffic on this sub.
It closed in 2022. I added a blurb after the credits but my previews obscure it.
Where is csx’s interchange with lake state?
is there still an auto plant in gaylord? and if so when will they be done working on it
A plant?? Not that I’m aware of.
They are building a small autorack unloading facility though. Should be finished this year.
