The exact same scenario is also happening with Verdant Leisure as was mentioned. I’ve been on one of their parks for 7 years and was phoned by a salesman to say my pitch licence won’t be renewed after this year on Hogmanay. No definitive reason was given, just that I would receive a letter telling me this. Then he went into a spiel about if I loved the site so much and didn’t want to leave, I stopped him in his tracks and said “don’t even try to sell me another van, you’re not getting a penny more from me”. He then tried to claim he wasn’t trying to sell me anything. Why mention it then? The caravan industry is a money pit for site owners and salespeople who do not give a toss where we end up or if we lose thousands at their evil hands. Our politicians can easily change things to protect us, but there’s nothing in it for them and won’t bother even trying. Douglas Ross is a waste of space, he didn’t even declare income from his side jobs and is therefore morally bankrupt, so I wouldn’t hang on to anything he has to say.

If it wasnt a residential site then people shouldn't have been selling up and moving into their 'holiday' home for 11 months of the year no matter what a salesman says, unfortunately its an unregulated industry and people do live on holiday parks and owners turn a blind eye until it doesn't suit them

This doesn't give the perpetrators the right to cause the recent vandalism seen at the site!
