Just random idea that will go unnoticed 😅. Maybe make the Howa 1500 300 PRC a budget friendly hunting/competition series. Drop it in XRS chassis with Strike eagle and match Warbird. Show us how you maybe would've started out if you were new to shooting. I know a lot of the newer subscribers haven't followed your journey into competition and hunting and that could be a great way for a newer shooter to also follow along with his own build or buy that build from you when your finished. Again like I said just a random idea. Btw love the content and the way the channel is moving ahead. With the current pace of new pews being build your going to also make a hour video for 1mill subs when shooting all your guns.
Are you satisfied with the overall Bergara rifles, not psrticularly that ammo type, but rifle itself. I'm on lookout for rifle and bergara is currently top brand pick
@@imeprezime1069 They're both half moa with the precision hunter ammo. I shoot them suppressed so I've never used the muzzlebrake that comes with it. But the action is every bit as good as a Tikka, Sako, or Feirce. Factory trigger is the best sub $1000 factory rifle trigger I've experienced. Trigger tech is still an upgrade tho for long range shooting, hunting wise there's 0 need to change it. The barrels are quality. Mine have performed well
Here’s an idea for a future video build, you could try putting a Christensen Arms Ridgeline into your MDT carbon chassis. It would be an insanely light hunting rifle!

Have a few Howa 1500 LAs that just sit in the back of the safe. Aftermarket support for the Howa 1500 LA is limited. No triggertech triggers and carbon fiber stock makers don't offer a model for it (Manners, AGC). MDT makes a few chassis (no HNT26) but I don't like a chassis for hunting.

In Howa's 2022 manual, it only has the 300PRC hogue stock listed as available in 24" STD T/C barrel but you appear to have the HB? Or is that actually the STD T/C barrel that you have because it looks close to a HB. Wanting to buy the same one to drop in an ORYX and was just trying to make sure 😜 (EDIT: "Why not just buy the one already in an oryx from factory?" Because it's easier to justify the cost of multiple transactions over time then dropping that kinda cash at one time 😅)
@IMPACT SHOOTING my self imposed shooting at any game animal is 300 yards with any firearm. I've been hunting successfully for over 50 years and I have more dam respect for the deer and axis and elk that are roaming than most.
Why? Monolithic bullets perform much better in magnum and other extremely fast shooting calibers. I’ve shot a moose with a TTSX out of a 308 and the exit hole was the size of a pencil. That was less than 80 meters away.
@@ballisticlt7452 if you notice what’s going on in the world especially europe and the uk copper bullets are becoming the norm if not the only option .308 and 6.5 creed are the most popular calibers here for mid sized deer !

You should just have a set of barrel blocks for locking into that vice. lol Some polypropylene or something would be good. ;)
